Dr Scot Bennick is passionate about health and wellness. Unable to continue his mechanical engineering studies in college due to back pain and migraine headaches, "Dr Scot" regained his health (and life) with chiropractic care. While studying at Parker College, Dr Scot learned over a dozen healing modalities. He has been practicing in Sedona since 2000, Dr Scot is happy to be part of The Joint team.

Dr. Chase Vazquez grew up in Washington state, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Pre-Med at Western Washington University.
During his time at WWU, he worked full time and paid his tuition completely out of pocket, as well as volunteered as a youth soccer coach and high school wrestling coach. After completing his degree at WWU, he spent two years working in Physical Therapy and Chiropractic Clinics as an Exercise Rehab Specialist.
He received his Doctor of Chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Graduated with Academic Excellent honors, Summa Cumlade (3.91 GPA). Served as Class President. Victor Strang Philosophy Award Finalist.
In his free time while attending Palmer College, he organized multiple philanthropy events, including fundraisers for National Alliance for Mental Illness and local no kill animal shelters.
Recognized by the Uncommon Fellowship Foundation for his service to his community and unwavering willingness to lead and teach healthcare providers. For this recognition he received the Uncommon Fellow Award.
In addition, while at PCC he taught many classes at the Bachelor, Graduate and Doctorate level of education including: Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Neuro-Muscular-Skeletal Diagnosis, Physical Diagnosis, Physical Therapy Techniques, Chiropractic Techniques
In his personal life, Dr. Vazquez enjoys traveling and the outdoors. Some of his most enjoyable traveling experience include two separate month long, 7500+ mile road tips around the country.

Dr. Vinny Shelopal was born and raised in the Bay Area, proudly calling Union City, California, his hometown. He began his academic journey at Chabot Community College before transferring to Life Chiropractic College West, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
After completing his education, Dr. Vinny moved to Los Angeles to practice family chiropractic care in the Westwood area. There, he treated a wide range of patients and conditions—including migraine relief, sciatica, neck pain, and lower back pain—using skilled manual adjustments and a hands-on, personalized approach.
In April 2024, seeking a change of pace and scenery, Dr. Vinny relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. By October 2024, he joined The Joint Chiropractic, where he continues to serve the community with passion and purpose.
Outside of the office, as a former athlete that wrestled, Dr. Vinny enjoys staying active with regular workouts, spending quality time with family and friends, discovering new restaurants, and playing basketball. Sundays are reserved for unwinding—watching football, cheering on his favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers.

On June 20,2025, I called and spoke with a representative who told me I didnt need to come inperson to cancel, even though I knew that was usually required, Sshe acknowledge that, but said sinceI had not been in for quite some time she could cancel it on her end and would make not in the system. I trusted her word. Fast Forward .....I got charged again! Sooooo Today I july 21st, I called back and spoke with another representative, who again said thy'd cancel it and speak with their manager. I asked for confirmation in writing sent to my email or something showing it was canceled, but got the same vague promises. This whole experience has been frustrating and feels unprofessinal. 1 5 1Honestly this was a terrible experience and a first impression. Crack... Crack.... Slam. That's all I could hear, I seen at least five patients go through Dr. Scot and thought this guy must really work hard and be quick... Which he is. Honeslty if you want a quick in and out kinda thing then go with Dr. Scot However let me start with the good things about this place.... The front desk was absolutely fantastic. She guided me through the entire process and made sure I was comfortable. She answered a lot do the questions I had and ensured that everything was okay. I believe her name was Precious, but nonetheless absolutely fantastic! I'm sitting there patiently waiting for my doctor and Dr. Sabina takes her patient. She seems kind. Her patient this was her first visit and I could tell the patient was a bit nervous. But Dr. Sabina answered every question and seemed thorough. Honestly she wasn't even my doctor but I wish she was! Now to my doctor.... I had Dr. Scot. He seemed extremely knowledgeable, but this was my first visit so I expected him to be extra thorough. Literally while Dr. Sabina was working with her patient I was done within ten minutes or so and she also had a new patient! I was not even there the entire thirty minutes.... The paperwork took way longer then he did! After the adjustment, which by the way he did great. Honeslty, if you wanted something quick then Dr. Scot is your guy. However for an initial visit based - I feel if this is your first time ever getting a chiropractor please request Dr. Sabina After the adjustment he kept mentioning to me an "an offer you just can't refuse" I didn't even have time to breath or thank him he just kept selling, which by the way I felt like it was a lot of pressure. I don't even know what I paid for, I just did it... While I was paying Dr. Sabina greeted me with a smile, mind you she was just finishing up with her patient, but she seemed very attentive and demonstrated quality service. I honestly don't know if I'll be back at this location again, hopefully I get a better thorough doctor next time. Overall, my first experience was okay, but like I mentioned if you want a quick in and out kinda thing Dr. Scot is your guy.

5 5 1Years ago, I had a terrible fall, went to the ER and was told noting was wrong with my leg. After spending days trying to walk without severe pain, I decided to go to Dr. Khaled Abuwandi who had helped me through four rear-end accidents in less than a year. Dr, Abuwandi assessed the situation and told me he could help by manipulating the back of my leg but that it would hurt. The soleus and gastrocnemius muscles were apparently twisted ): Dr. Abuwandi worked on my leg, I got off the table and was pain free!!! He is the most sensitive, patient man! Thank you, Dr. Abuwandi, for all the times you've helped me and my family! You're a keeper!!!

5 5 1I had been experiencing Hip pain on and off for about a year.Massages helped for a while but one day I could hardly stand or walk.This is a massage did not help and my massage therapist suggested that I go see a chiropractor. I took his advice and went to The Joint to seek help. I was told my hip was out of aignment. After a few treatments, I was in a lot less pain. On my next visit, I saw Dr.Scot Bennick and told him I was better but by late afternoon I was in a lot of pain. He said he could fix that.I could not believe the difference after he worked his "magic." No hip pain since then! I take care of my family, my house, my car, etc., now it is time to take care of me so I will never let myself get this bad again. I am going to continue my chiropractic care on a regular basis here at The Joint. I cannot believe how great I feel.
