Dr. Aakash Raj grew up in Portland, Oregon and attended Oregon State University. He first became interested in chiropractic as a profession after his experience as a patient following an Injury while playing tennis.
While playing tennis competitively he often saw physical therapists and massage therapist, but once he integrated chiropractic, it changed his entire perspective on true potential.
Dr. Raj loves being able to work with a variety of Individual and families and help them live their best life. When Dr. Raj isn’t working at The Joint Chiropractic, he can be found on the tennis court or spending time with his wife, Meera.
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Jordan Tharp relocated to Tempe, Arizona in order to live a more active lifestyle. He is excited to be serving patients as a chiropractor at The Joint. Dr. Tharp graduated with a degree in Biology/Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University. While in college, Dr. Tharp was a student athlete who competed in track and field. After graduating in 2012, Dr. Tharp decided to serve his community as a personal trainer for several years.
In 2014, Dr. Tharp decided to go back to school in order to pursue his dreams of becoming a chiropractor. In 2018 Dr. Tharp graduated from Cleveland University of Kansas City in Overland Park, Kansas with a doctorate of chiropractic.
Since moving to Tempe, Arizona, Dr. Tharp has truly learned to appreciate all that Arizona has to offer, especially the beautiful scenery. When Dr. Tharp is not busy in the clinic he enjoys being outside, hiking, swimming, working out in the gym, and hanging out with friends and family.
