Dr. Ryan Ambacher was born and raised in New Jersey. After high school, he graduated with honors from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental science. After having been personally impacted by chiropractic care he decided to shift his focus from helping the environment to helping individuals. At this point he decided to pursue his passion of helping others by going to Life University of Chiropractic. There, he worked hard and graduated a semester early with his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Ryan utilizes a multitude of techniques tapered to meet every patient's needs and preferences. He is excited to help as many people as possible through The Joint and is passionate about helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives.
Dr. Susanne Twigg, D.C. graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1999 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She is originally from Missouri where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology from Southwest Missouri State University. After completing her degrees in the year 2000, Dr. Twigg moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she landed her first chiropractic job and she has never looked back since.
Dr. Twigg has a natural and hands-on approach to healthcare. She believes the best part of being a chiropractor in Phoenix, AZ is the reward of using a noninvasive approach to help patients in need. Dr. Twigg is experienced in a variety of different chiropractic techniques that have allowed her to tailor her adjusting style to each individual patient. These include adjusting the joint complex of the spine, stretching and exercises. She is also able to perform these techniques on a wide range of patients including infants, pregnant women, athletes, grandparents and those suffering from sciatica pain, neck pain, lower back pain, and migraines.
Dr. Twigg has been with The Joint Chiropractic Phoenix since January of 2016. With several years of adjusting, her passion for chiropractic comes from allowing the body to function at its highest potential. In her free time, Dr. Twigg is a committed crossfitter and is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. She loves being outdoors, riding motorcycles, going to concerts, listening to music and spending time with her wife, Paula.
Dr. Kenny Rummerfield was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. He was involved in playing sports and had a passion for basketball. Dr. Kenny attended The University of Kansas for studies in Pre Med and realized his passion for health care without the use of medications.
Dr. Kenny got married in between undergrad and Chiropractic school then moved to St. Louis to attend Logan College of Chiropractic, now known as Logan University where he learned many adjusting techniques and spent extra time learning the Activator protocol. He graduated with Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2014.
After graduation, he moved to Belton, MO for 5 years and gained valuable experience seeing all types of patients and all types of cases with a lot of experience treating pediatric and pregnancy cases.
Dr. Kenny and his wife moved to Arizona in 2021 to have a chance to live a more active lifestyle and work at The Joint in order to focus on wellness care for the long haul providing routine and affordable care.
In his spare time, Dr. Kenny and his wife share a passion for dirt track racing events, watching and attending NASCAR events (#9 Chase Elliott fan), hiking, movies and getting some sun by the pool.
Dr. Bert Lindsay, D.C. was born into a chiropractic family and so following in his family’s footsteps was a natural fit. Dr. Lindsay attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO in 1992 where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Lindsay has been prides himself on the quality of his patient care. Over the course of his professional career, Dr. Lindsay has built strong relationships with each of his patients and loves watching them as they achieve their health and wellness goals as a result of his chiropractic efforts.
He has been changing lives in his Phoenix community for the past several years and has learned to treat a variety of patients from babies to grandparents, and those suffering from various symptoms and ailments such as migraines, neck pain, lower back pain, sciatica pain and much more. He is excited to serve the community in Flagstaff at our first Joint Chiropractic location in northern Arizona.
When he’s not working at The Joint Chiropractic in Flagstaff, AZ, Dr. Lindsay is typically training, studying or teaching martial arts.

Dr. Ryan Frees graduated from Towson University with a degree in pre-med before becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic through Life Chiropractic College. He knew chiropractic was his calling when “at 20 years old, he was on 3 different medications for acid reflux. After 2 months of chiropractic care, I was able to stop taking all 3 medications. As long as I get regular adjustments, my stomach functions optimally”. He enjoys learning about the variety of techniques you can learn to help people feel better through chiropractic care and being able to help people using his hands. Before working at Moon Valley, Dr. Frees worked in Sunnyvale, Avondale, Gilbert, and Scottsdale.
When not helping patients, Dr. Frees enjoys beach volleyball, stand up paddleboarding, pickleball and working out. He also has a 19 year old son. Dr. Frees says the coolest thing he’s ever done was when “I accidentally hit a canadian goose with a golf ball, I walked up to it bc it appeared to be paralyzed. I felt a kink in its neck and adjusted it…it flew away”. He loves the relaxed nature of the team in Moon Valley.
