Dr. Nienstedt was born in Phoenix and raised in Spokane and Seattle, Washington. He returned with his family to Arizona in 2003, moving to Chandler in order to be closer to family.
He met his wife, Nancy, while at Brigham Young University and they were married in 1992. Each of his four children was born in different states, Christian in Utah, Olivia in Oregon, Kathryn in Washington, and Isabelle in Arizona. They are definitely happy to be settled here in beautiful Arizona.
Dr. Nienstedt graduated with a bachelors of science degree from Brigham Young University in 1997 and went on to Chiropractic School at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. He graduated in 2001. Over the past sixteen years of clinical practice, he has also become certified to perform acupuncture by the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and has earned a masters degree in human nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. In addition, he has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
His personal interests include spending quality time with family, exercise, reading, exploring various cultural cuisines and keeping up with the current literature on health, fitness, and weight loss.
Dr James Pierce is a 1990 graduate of New York Chiropractic College and has been in practice for almost 30 years.
From Long Island, N.Y. Dr Pierce spent 25 years in private practice in West Hampton. He also ran a full service health club in West Hampton where he maintained his practice. It was there that his treatment of spinal rehabilitation and physical fitness flourished for over two decades. Dr Pierce moved to Arizona 5 years ago and has been enjoying a productive career with The Joint Chiropractic.
In his spare time, he continues to be physically active with fitness and nutrition. Residing in North Scottsdale, he also enjoys hiking, cycling and the great outdoors.
Dr. Hall originally comes from the Midwest where he worked as a chiropractor for one of the largest Medical groups in the Midwest. He has performed advanced training in sports medicine and rehabilitation and served as staff chiropractor and spine care coordinator at Amery Regional Medical Center just outside of Minneapolis. He has trained a multitude of athletes at all levels and designed rehabilitation programs at the regional medical center where he has served on the sports medicine team and physician advisor to the physical therapy department. He also held hospital privileges and treated inpatients at the hospital as well as assisting the attending physician in the Emergency Room.
He has vast experience in industrial/occupational medicine on-site applications He has also served as adjunct faculty at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Golf-Biomechanics and rehabilitation. He has level 3 Medical Pro Certification from the renowned Titleist performance institute and is a certified strength and conditioning specialists from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
