I've always wanted to go to a chiropractor but never thought I could afford it. One day (a month ago) I decided to take a chance. I'd heard about The Joint from a friend who goes regularly. I spend a lot of time in one position (work and hobby) and my back and shoulders were always tight and aching. After my second visit, I am a newly-generated old lady. I had been dealing with severe shoulder pain for a year. I saw three different orthopedic doctor's had cortisone injections and went thru physical therapy. I went in for an adjustment on my lower back as usual and specifically told DR SCOTT DONT TOUCH MY SHOULDER! He managed to talk me into it, and I am so glad that he did. I have had more relief from that adjustment than any other treatment! I literally cried tears of joy on the table that day. I had seen him previously for regular adjustments and had always been pleased but this was amazing! Seriously! I have been sleeping better than I have in a year and in much less pain thanks to DR SCOTT!!!

The Offie staff at the Waddell and Litchfield location In Surprise Az, was completely unprofessional, unhelpful, and lacked the number one customer service rule on Thursday Dec. 14th at 5:30pm. After 12 months of going to this location and being treated like me and my time matters by letting me know the approx. wait time before I can be seen. On this night I went in, swiped my card and asked how long the wait was, the girls just looked away and said nothing, I asked again, "how long is the wait?" Again, they just blinked and looked away, I couldn't believe it, these same girls were always completely polite and full of information, so I asked if they were ok......maybe the place was being held up, maybe they were having a mental problem, like an emergency. They said they were fine, I asked again what the wait time was, they replied that they are not allowed to give anyone a wait time because there had been some customers that came back after the wait time that was given and they were told they had wait longer, and because it was taking time away from duties they are supposed to be doing. I replied that this sounds like a training problem, not a customer problem. They said no the training is fine and continued to look away as if I did not exist. I asked if they would still call me, they said NO, they weren't allowed to do that either, I asked what I was expected to do? Was I expected to sit in the front office? They bluntly said Yes. As I observed, these girls kept looking in the back and leaving the podium, something I had not observed before. So my take away is that they just removed customer service and replaced it with continuously leaving the front desk and ignoring customers. So, they expect people to sit in uncomfortable chairs in the overcrowded lobby and stare at all the advertising that says come here to relieve stress that causes sickness, release worries, be the best You that you can be by coming to The Joint. Yet they don't take reservations, they aren't allowed to use obvious resolve called communication by giving out approx. wait times and explaining or displaying that they are "APPROX. TIMES." They take hours sometimes and want to crowd everyone up or there's a threat you may lose your spot. Who is running the customer service training here? This is simple as pie to fix. How about get a scrolling board showing each person's place in the line up? This couldn't cost but pennies, shoot I'll donate the monitors to hang and I'll donate the one time fee for the software. Or, how about use one of your printers and print out some signs explaining the APPROX. WAIT TIME and give out the approx. wait time again? Better yet, if the training department wants to turn their front desk staff into robots, how about have an app that people can see when their turn is coming up and have the option to get themselves over there or lose their turn. Shame on this company, whomever is in charge of training, they need some training themselves in customer service.......like what they had less than a week ago.......customer service that set them apart from the new robot rudeness. Let me know and I"ll kick the money and time to train some customer service, it'll only take 8 hours and The Joint will be back the way it was and better.

Needed a knee replaced so I've developed issues with my back. Saw a post on a FB Wickenburg Bulletin Board. Someone was looking for a chiropractor not "someone who does a 2 second crack but someone who works your body." Dr. Scott at The Joint on Waddell in Surprise was highly recommended. I drove in to town to see him. He evaluated my many issues as they all effect posture/ movement, all creating pain. We did several adjustments and he showed me some exercises. I just bought a bigger package as I will always need up keep and will keep coming back ASAP for another set of adjustments. Looking forward to being pain free!

I saw Dr Scott today first time ever although I've been going to this location for a while now . I didn't care for his bedside manner he was rough n quick like he was in a hurry that is not the attitude to have when adjusting someone for the first time. He also asked me no questions. I'm used to when I see someone for first time they spend time with me asking me questions b4 they adjust me but that is apparently not his custom. He also kept pushing for me to get more treatments after I told him I cud not afford it , he had no sense of discretion. And he was rude to my husband who is a potential customer. There are nice ways to say you want someone to move to another chair n then there are rude ways. He just doesn't have a nice gentle way of expressing himself . I'm used to manual manipulation been doing it for years but his was rougher than any I've had in the past ..this is the first time I felt worse after than before I went in ?! And when I tried to tell him he didn't want to hear it he shut me up right away. He told me I had inflammation in the back of my head but didn't advise me what to do abt it?? Most Drs wud have said to put ice on it but he said nothing abt it . I got the feeling he was upset & annoyed becuz i wudnt pay to be on regular adjustment plan like he wanted . Then he told me I had arthritis ?? First I've heard of it but he was so sure of himself n arrogant without confirming anything . And when I asked questions he treated me like I was stupid . I will not be going back to him. He definitely still has alot of New Yorker left in him . I've never had any of the other chiropractors be that pushy with me or that rough with how they dealt with me . Very dissatisfied by his services. Maybe he was having a rough day but he rubbed me the wrong way .

my experience with MIA at the litchfield and waddell location was very unpleasant. i came in on my lunch at which time they were barely opening and there were people ahead of me. i do not have a keytag sontherefore i must be checked in by phone number. the lady infront of me was a new paitent, mia instructed the people jbehind me to checkin. i stepped out of line and said doesnt that put hime ahead of me in the que ? she proceeded to tell me that if i do not have a key tag i would have to wait till she was done with the lady infront of me and that if they have a key tag they can check in. in all my visits at the joint i have never been told that. i thought she was very rude.

I began seeking chiropractic care at 26 weeks of pregnancy. I felt immense mid back pain and massage guns were not helping. My vertebrae ached with any touch/pressure. Since I was young one of my vertebrae has been slightly out of place. I began going to a chiropractor decades ago on a monthly basis to keep me in good form. It has worked. Now that I am 80 I go a little more often, sometimes twice a month. My neck now needs attention too. I love Dr. Alvarez at The Joint. She is careful and effective, answers my questions, and gives good advice. I would not have a problem recommending her.

I am a martial arts coach and practitioner. I regularly push my body to its limits, resulting in my body becoming misaligned. I've been with The Joint for about six years. The last three years I try to visit with Dr. Scott. Dr. Scott takes his time to figure out what I need to get better whereas some chiro's sometimes rush the routine of adjustments. Not only that, Dr. Scott's technique seems to hold the adjustment longer. I have been a chiropractic patient for 25 years, and in that time, have visited many chiropractors. Dr. Scott is far superior to anyone I have visited.

The staff is always super friendly they say hi and have a good day when you leave no matter how busy they are. The Drs. listen to what is bothering you before they start their treatment. Excellent service. Play football and am getting tackled a lot. Dr. Scott walked me through posture and proper techniques. Dr. Scott also adjusted me and I felt a difference in walking throwing and catching. They take care of you and pay attention to what you need.

My name is Adan Lopez. Prior to coming to The Joint, I spent the last three years of my life on my recliner with almost no mobility and no quality of life.
In just a few months I went from zero quality of life to what I believe to be almost 70% improvement due to the care I received from Dr. Scott. I am still in a lot of pain due to the multiple number of surgeries I have been through to military related injuries, but my quality of life, in my opinion, is at an all-time high. Amazing! Walked in and automatically greeted w/ a smile and great service from Elaine. To top it off, Dr. Marie Alvarez was also amazing! Had the loudest neck pops I've felt. Dr Meyer is amazing. I drive from Glendale to Surprise because he’s so good. But today I was even more impressed than usual. Everyone is so nice and on their game. I lost my little card to scan in. When I told the receptionist she told me she’d replace it. She not only knew my first & last name without looking it up, but also that I prefer Dr Meyer. She sees people coming in & out constantly and yet she knew me. That’s service above & beyond. And yet I don’t even know her name! So thank you for your awesome service. I saw all 5 chiropractors that support this location, and although they manipulate patients differently, they are effective. Not much personal time and not really worth the money paid, especially since they don't accept insurance. No hand washing between clients, at least before the pandemic. I've paid the recurring membership and have not been there, I've called and ask for them to honor the missed time in the future. Carla said she would call me back. I heard nothing and continue to hear nothing. Why should they care, they have my money. They make it difficult to cancel, it must be on their cancellation form at the joint you signed up for. I should have known if it sounds too good to be true, it is.

I came to see Dr. Tyler and the Joint because my shoulder was frozen from an injury at work. I felt my initial consultation was very thorough and I felt some relief from my very first visit. I have been on their plan now since December 5th 2018 and have addressed issues from two prior auto accidents and a motorcycle accident. I am walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and sleeping much, much better from the consistent visits. It works well for me because I can drop in and get the treatment I need without an appointment or having to "anticipate" when I might need another adjustment. I have had visits with three different experienced Doctors over the months and am very happy with my overall progress! Thank you!
