Dr. Slattery knew she wanted to be a chiropractor at a young age. On family vacations, she would try to adjust her family members and her dad suggested she become a chiropractor. She always had in the back of her mind that she wanted to become a chiropractor, but she had never received chiropractic care so she was not sure what it was all about. It wasn’t until college that she had her first experience with chiropractic care and after that first adjustment she was hooked! During school, she always experienced upper back/neck stiffness and some lower back pain from having to sit at school and study for several hours a day. Chiropractic care helped her become more mobile and she noticed how chiropractic helped change other people’s lives as well.
Dr. Slattery is from North Little Rock, AR. She graduated from Mount St. Mary’s High School in 2007. She completed her degree in Kinesiology at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in May of 2012. While in college, she worked as a chiropractor assistant in Fayetteville. She attended and graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO in August 2016.
Dr. Slattery is a certified group exercise instructor as well as a certified personal trainer. She also completed a 200 hour yoga certification. She wants to use her current knowledge of body mechanics to help her future patients with functional movement.
