Meet The Doctors
Dr. Wade has been working with The Joint since moving to Colorado Springs in August 2018. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he received his bachelor’s degree in psychology. After graduating he moved to Davenport Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Wade says being a chiropractor at The Joint has been a very rewarding experience as it has allowed him to help bring chiropractic to a large portion of the Colorado Springs community, and provided him with the opportunity to learn a lot about the surrounding area and all the activities that Colorado provides for us. When out of the office Dr. Wade enjoys kayaking, hiking, concerts and traveling to visit family all around the Midwest. In July 2020 Dr. Wade married his wife Briar.

I have worked for a sports chiropractor in Texas where I got to work on olympians and professional athletes. I have also worked in the VA hospital and I found I love working with athletes and veterans. I enjoy helping them perform at their optimal levels. Courtney became a chiropractor by happenstance. She liked bones and muscles and a recruiter called and asked if I wanted a tour, I had an adjustment and fell in love with it. Courtney’s hobbies include coaching cheerleading, dance, hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping, spending time with friends and family, and cooking.
Dr. Blake Wetzel is a Chiropractor at The Joint in Colorado Springs, CO. Dr. Blake Wetzel has earned degrees in speech communication, corporate communication, as well as an MBA (Management) prior to obtaining his doctorate degree from Cleveland University – KC. While studying for his master’s degree, Dr. Wetzel was involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in debilitating lower back pain that greatly impacted his quality of life. After exhausting several avenues of treatment with minimal relief and feeling desperate to regain normalcy, Dr. Wetzel first decided to try chiropractic care. After 2 years of discomfort and lack of results, Dr. Wetzel was able to heal and become stronger within months under chiropractic care, leaving him a certain sense of reinvigoration yet a humble sense of purpose: the idea of serving others and restoring optimal form and function through chiropractic as his life’s call. Dr. Wetzel aims to provide top tier chiropractic care through a natural wellness approach to health for individuals of all backgrounds and ages. Dr. Wetzel seeks to assist patients to achieve optimal quality of life in their daily activities. Dr. Wetzel practices diversified manual chiropractic technique and utilizes specific chiropractic adjustment tailored to each individual’s unique presentation, utilizing an all-encompassing central nervous system based whole body wellness outlook. In his leisure time, Dr. Wetzel enjoys the outdoors with his dogs, coaching basketball, working out, and keeping active in his church.
