I just went Sunday to the Belmar joint chiropractic location to find out that the chiropractor Dr Foss, who I have been seeing last day, was last Wednesday. I also noticed there wasn't a list of chiropractors for each day on the front desk. Does anyone know if this location is closing? They had one fill-in chiropractor, and she was fantastic. She was the only one providing chiropractic service, and she told me she was only filling in for two weeks. She would be there again next Sunday, but it is unclear what happens after that

I began chiropractic care in my early 20's and have never stopped, though I have had to change or seek new providers as they moved or retired. The Joint Chiropractic is an amazing health resource, the doctors listen, share notes, and add information to your file. I have been treated by multiple doctors at the Belmar location and always with the highest professionalism, care, and courtesy. I urge everyone to try chiropractic care (I also get monthly massages) as the most effective way of dealing with overall muscular/skeletal health. If you don't treat the problem, how can you get any relief? I'm certain I could go to any regular doctor now and still get a ton of medications to deal with pain or discomfort, but that is a huge waste of time, and may cause bigger problems. Remember, if your 1st experience or doctor at the joint doesn't seem to fit, try another doctor, they won't take it personally as everyone is a little different, above all, don't give up on direct physical care for your body, 5-10 minutes, once a week is well worth the time invested. Trust me, I know after having spent a big chunk of my early life at physical labor.

I was offered a promotion to get two sessions for a set price I believe it was $79.00. I realized eight months later this people had been taking $79.00 from my credit card every month for eigth months for a total of roughtly $632.00 dollars. When I called to ask for the money to be refunded, Alyssa told me I need to read the small letters next time. She was not very friendly, and eventhough she acknoledged I didn't use their serivce for those seven months, she didn't offer a refund.
I consider this a fraudulent terrible business practice. I will never visit this practice again, and I want to raise awareness that this is the kind of business they do. Two visits in the very first month that lasted 5 minutes each 10 minutes all together. This is no how you do business.

I was a long-time client of The Joint in Lakewood Colorado. During a recent adjustment, with Dr. Zac Lesniak, I made a comment about his knees due to the pressure he put on my leg. The following week when I arrived for my adjustment, Dr. Zac Lesniak, began yelling at me and jabbing his finger at me, causing me to back up twice to keep from being hit, accused me of body shaming him while refusing to treat me. He did this in front of the receptionist, another doctor and 2 other clients, his extremely childish and unprofessional actions cause a very uncomfortable situation. His comments and actions upset my cousin, who does not handle confrontation well and is very sensitive to body shaming. It took quite a while for her to calm down enough to continue with the day. This is not the first time he has acted like a spoiled little brat, throwing fits about other doctors, the receptionist and upper management, calling them stupid and useless. The extreme level of unprofessionalism by Dr. Zac Lesniak, compelled my cousin and I to terminate our contract with The Joint.

I have been going to The Joint Chiropractic in Belmar for about 3 weeks . On my first visit I went in with burning pain in my lower back and legs . I was seen by Zac L. He told me I had nerve tissue damage. After the first session with Zac I felt significant results. No more pain in my legs and lower back was better also . My owrk requires me to sit 8-10 hours per day. The Joint and Alyssa, and Dr Ryan have been instrumental in helping me improve my back health. Ive been going to chiropractors for most of my life. However, it wasn't until I started participating in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu eleven years ago that i realized the benefits and regular chiropractic care. I can think of one particular instance where i threw out my sacrum while training. The next morning I literally fell out of bed because the pain was so intense. I went to my primary care physician, who prescribed me pain killers and told me to use ice and sent me on my way. I immediately came into The Joint to get adjusted and instantaneously felt relief. I have been injured. I am now crippled and need Spine Surgery. I didn't post sooner, this happened in August of this year. I saw one of the substitute Chiropractor's they had at Lakewood Co. I now try to stand but I can't because of the way he jerked my leg. I could barely get out of the office. Im posting now because I'm still so Sad Angry and depressed !! I have to have Spine SURGERY! I Hate this and I miss driving I now have to be taken everywhere ????!! I miss my life. He was smurking when I asked him if he could pull my leg. He did alright! I cant use it and its been 4 months now. Be careful what you ask for. Leg pulled so hard two vertebrae closed in my spine causing every other vertebrae to close. The Spine is collapsing now. I'm re-arranged. I step up and Ii lean Right not up! I haven't scheduled Surgery to stand me straight not right!! I'm so sad now this is what happened to me at 71.

Would not recommend! Went in for a simple back adjustment and he literally left me in the worst shape. I feel multiple bones down my spine out of place now. Cant even sit in a padded chair with out it digging into my back! Was fine before I went in. I will gladly pay hundreds of dollars to go to competent chiropractors who actually take x rays and don't just try to get you in and out in 15 mins. Someone once described them as the mcdonalds of chiropractors, and I agree straight garbage low quality chiropractor practice.

Ok....been contemplating all afternoon, and into the night, and almost 12 hours after this visit, whether or not I should post my thoughts regarding this experience. I hardly ever do ratings on dealings with a business, but, I would feel absolutely horrible if I didn't and someone close to me got scammed by this greedy, less than qualified...... hmmmm, what key word am I looking for here, while attempting to sound professional? Oh, I know, Prime candidates looking down the barrel of 'possible' malpractice, and being under investigation for fraud. No Dr. present while there, just a young kid that didn't look old enough to be out of high school, let alone giving treatments, and a....I'll call her an intern (you got lucky I give you that!) that stumbled around for words/explications on what to, or how to explain herself, and 3 times, she actually said to me, "I'm sorry, I've lost the word I was looking for." Good God Ms. Jenn, you actually were in so much pain and discomfort, that it didn't register, and you entrusted her to take responsibility of your 67 year old bones, and give you a treatment? Yeah, I did, and this is why it's so important to me to put out an alert to all of my friends, and for you all to spread the word to steer clear of this phoney group. She asked me what she was seeing me for today, well that should have been my 1st clue, because I handed her my 4 pages of medical forms that 'clearly' emphised Sciatica, and pain level from 1-10. Ohhh which reminds me what this dingy receptionist told me upon handing me this paperwork. 'Don't show a pain rating over a 10, because you should be in the hospital.' Ok, once again my pain was, and has been so bad over the last 7-10 days, I wasn't thinking straight, and just said ok. Anyway, back to this 'intern,' not at one moment that she began her treatment, did she EVER twist my hips...where this GODDAMN pain originates and flows down my leg! All the fck I wanted was to twist my hips and hear a crack that would free the fck'n pinched nerve! Yes, I've had it done before, that's how I know what I needed. Yeah, I intended to keep this low key, but I'm really pissed that I got prayed on, and its time to rip these punk ass bitch douche weasles! I'm so fucking tired of being nice...dafaq it ever get me but boned up the ass without KY!

So here I am, actually in worse shape than before I went...But then again, it matches my entire month of August. So, I went up to the dingy receptionist to reluctantly pay my extortion fee, and what comes out of her mouth? So, Jennifer, here is our treatment plan that will work for your issue. Oh, yeah, she tried to up sell me...so I told her I'd get back to her after I looked it over. Yeah I lied!

Doesnt bother to respond to email requesting a cancellation and cannot seem to locate your email address that they use to send you their newsletters. As a high risk person i would rather not open up to risk by visiting and cannot get a refund for charges during a time the pandemic had them closed or get a cancellation on my monthly payment for services I cannot use. Find a place that actually has care and concern for their patients because they definitely don't.

Never had a bad issue with this place. If you have a bad time or something happened I would say it is on you. It is not hard to sign up and everything is VERY clear on how they run this place. If I could give this location a lower rating- I would give a NEGATIVE 10. I took my son in for service (youth). I was told by the chiropractor that I would need to pay $29.00 plus $39.00 for 4 visits. I paid!- I was NEVER told and I confirmed with the chiropractor that I did not want to be charged recurring. He confirmed that I would not be charged additionally. He apologized that he had to run the front desk as his "receptionist" had to leave home early. He stated he did not know fully how to sign someone up but he would "try". Come the end of April, my account was charge $39.00 - as he signed me up for recurring. I called and spoke with a couple receptionists and was told Lisa would get back to me, turns out that they do not return calls, so I had to call back AGAIN. Lisa finally returned my call and refused to reimburse me knowing that her chiropractor did not know how to set anyone up. She stated that I signed up for recurring. I specifically asked the chiropractor and he specifically stated that I did not need to sign up for recurring and with what I paid my son would get his 4 visits and nothing more. We only used three of the visits as the office closed to Covid. I was not able to use the other visit and was told that if I did not keep paying recurring, then I would be charged each visit individual with would cost me a total of $39.00 for each of the three visits. This place is a RIP OFF! I highly recommend NOT GOING to their office. It is seriously is not my fault that I was explained what I would need to pay for 4 visits. It is not my fault that the chiropractor does not know the prices. . If the receptionist was sick and had to go home, then they should not have the chiropractor sign people up and give false information. My adivice - STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!

I think everyone should get adjusted regularly.
