He completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise at Virginia Tech and was a member of the Hokies’ Track and Field team where he was an ACC conference champion and NCAA All-American in the pole vault. After graduating, he continued his training and served as a volunteer assistant coach for the VT pole vault squad.

While competing for the Hokies, Dr. Chris learned the importance of exercise, conditioning, and preventative care to ensure that the human body is prepared for physical activity. Dr. Chris credits his ability to perform at the collegiate level to chiropractic wellness care, provided by his neighborhood chiropractor in his youth and his team chiropractor at Virginia Tech, keeping him primed for competition. This inspired him to pursue his chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic-FL in Port Orange, Florida.

I’ve been a patient for over a year and will probably be one until the day I die. When I first went to The Joint I had a lot of lower back troubles that were paired with a migraine that would bring me to tears. Now I go once a week for a weekly adjustment and haven’t had those painful back troubles nor the migraines. Coming to The Joint has truly been life changing for me. I was super hesitant about joining another membership place where I’d just be another member number, that is so not the case here.

    I am always impressed with the Joint. I have been to several and all are good! My favorite is the Palm Harbor location. Dr. Justin is amazing. I usually just go for a tune up but this time I had a pain in my neck and shoulder that ran all the way down my arm. After the first visit I could tell a difference and after the second it was gone.     My daughter goes to The Joint in Houston and loves it, so when I discovered that we had The Joint locally I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I finally took the leap, my insurance doesn't cover any chiropractic care, but the fees here are extremely reasonable. Most importantly, you can just walk in when it's convenient for you. I feel so much better now and have less stiffness.

    I walked in fine routine visit. Left not being able to turn my neck. My back is killing me .before I could stop him he used a technique that hurt me. When I stopped him to ask if he red the notes he kept telling me no notes maybe someone erassed them then realized he pulled up the wrong patent. He then refered me to his colleague. She was so rude with I don't feel comfortable adjusting . Wait 24 hrs then proceeded . I don't like your attitude. Geez I have been going for years . All new staff . Inexperienced. Be careful . Being crippled from a bad adjustment is not reversible

    For many years I refused to go see a chiropractor because I did not believe it worked. About 1 month ago I was having back pain and finally gave in. I went to The Joint in Boot Ranch and saw Dr. Peri, within 2 visits I was waking up with out back pain!!!     If you use your HSA you'll have to go back just to get your itemized bill in person. I was told the forms would be emailed as the person at the desk had no clue what I was referring to until one of the chiropractors told her what I needed. I called to find out where my bill is and told that I have to come in since it's a HIPPA issue. How about avoiding this entire waste of time by having the HIPPA form completed within the other many forms I had to complete before being seen? I've never dealt with this with any other medical office here. If you knew you couldn't email them, why say that? I could have received them in my mailbox by now, but i'll be wasting my time having to go into their office now due to a complete lack of communication.

    I went and saw Dr. Morino for my back and shoulder. She was incredibly professional and informative. Not only did she adjust the parts that were bothering me but also readjusted my hips which I didn’t know was out of alignment and felt 10 times better after.     I have been seeing the Drs at the joint for 3 years now. I have tried chiropractors in the past with wildly varying results. I have upper and lower back issues, arthritis, stenosis and vertigo. My spine specialist is great but couldn’t help out with the vertigo or the wear and tear on a daily basis. So grateful to have found the Joint… they keep me upright and able to function.     I have been suffering from hip, shoulder and neck pain. I figured I would check out the Joint Chiropractic Group. That was a mistake and I am in more pain than I was yesterday. I am an Army medic and am familiar with musculoskeletal pain, especially in the neck, back, and shoulders. In my case, I was there for a body alignment and adjustment. The provider was more interested in selling me there package deal and telling me I need to visit 2x week. I was very disappointed. The only relief I received was having my neck manipulated, but even that was weak. if you need this kind of service, you'd be better going to a chiropractor.

    If you want a chiropractor who is gentle but effective, go see Dr. Marisol. I have seen many chiropractors over the decades for my back, and later, neck, and she is definitely one of my favorites, if not the most favorite. Many chiropractors crack your neck so hard that it causes lingering pain. Some will even tell you that that is normal. But don’t believe it. Not the case with Marisol, and I feel better every time.

    Since I've been here, my headaches have gone away. I've loved both doctors who worked on me. I've never had my back or neck adjusted and this has been a great experience since I've been here.     I was referred to The Joint Chiropractic six months ago. At this time I was in so much pain from head to toe. I started with Dr. Sarah for the first month.     I have had chronic severe neck pain since a car accident in 2017 that left me with severe whiplash and other injuries. After almost 9 months in treatment I was told it was a permanent injury and nothing else could be done unless I wanted to fuse my neck. I had little, if any, success with physical therapy, facet injections, cupping, and other treatments. I gave up and pretty much lived the next 2 years in kinesiology tape to at least have some kind of support. Over time the pain worsened and was severely limiting all aspects of my life. I decided to give one last effort in healing and came to see Dr. Juan Ahumada. I'm happy to say I finally see light at the end on the tunnel. I have been tape free for a while, more comfortable with a lot less pain doing everyday normal things, headaches are gone, and every day life activities are becoming easier and easier through the treatment plans. Chiropractic care will definitely become a long term plan in my overall holistic health. And I am so grateful for the modality and healing.
