Dr. Nakia Pinkney Milledge, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Windermere

Nakia R. Pinkney-Milledge, BS, DC, a 2017 graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic, joined The Joint Chiropractic team January 2020. She is a South Carolina native and attended the University of South Carolina, Aiken where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology.

Dr. Pinkney-Milledge’s passion for chiropractic and caring for patients can be seen in both the Dr. Phillips and Windermere locations. She believes that chiropractic care is a way for patients to take an active role in their health and live high quality lives. She has seen the fascinating miracles the human body can perform when it is functioning properly. Dr. Pinkney-Milledge’s role as a chiropractor is to remove interferences from the body so that it can work to its fullest potential. This is made possible by making specific adjustments to the body’s joints and educating each person about ways to improve their wellbeing.

In her spare time, Dr. Pinkney-Milledge can be found listening to apple music, relaxing, working out in the gym, or watching basketball games. March Madness is her favorite!

In Case You Didn’t Know: Dr. Pinkney-Milledge is a basketball fanatic. She grew up taking an active role in the Orangeburg, SC community and found her love for basketball at age 7. She had the privilege of playing for her local middle and high school basketball teams, playing on a traveling AAU team, and receiving a 4 year basketball and academic scholarship at the University of South Carolina, Aiken.

Dr. Linda DiBella, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Windermere

The Joint Chiropractic is proud to have Dr. Linda DiBella from New York.

She attended the State University of New York at Albany and earned a Bachelor in Biology. She studied abroad attending Lorenzo DiMedici in Florence, Italy.

Upon returning to the United States, she attended Life University earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic. After about a decade of practice, she decided to enhance her approach to preventative healthcare by becoming a Registered Nurse. This allowed her to work in an array of healthcare settings such as intensive care, progressive care, emergency department, telemetry, hospice and home healthcare.

She worked in these areas over a ten-year period and continues to do so today. Being a healthcare provider in many settings has allowed a unique outlook and though process when delivering her wellness chiropractic care.

Dr. Linda’s personal mission is to deliver a world-class health experience to patients and impact as many people as possible with the power or Chiropractic.

She is grateful to make a difference in the lives of those she serves. She believes movement is a vital component to a healthy and fulfilling life.

When she is not encouraging her patients in their wellness journey, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, personal fitness and traveling.

Dr. Skylyr Strader, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Windermere

Skylyr Strader, D.C., FIANM, is proud to be representing The Joint in Orlando. He leaves behind a legacy of excellence everywhere he goes: Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Saint Leo University, co-Valedictorian with his D.C. degree from Palmer College’s Florida campus, and previously as a clinical director for the Brandon location of The Joint overseeing the 3rd busiest office in Florida at the time.

Dr. Strader continued his pursuit of knowledge by undergoing additional board certification, choosing to focus on orthopedic conditions. He completed his two board examinations in 2022 and has since maintained an active status as a Fellow of the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He is currently pursuing an additional orthopedic certification, this one through Johns Hopkins University. This constant development of clinical skills has allowed him to determine the appropriate treatment for each patient.

He began his journey in chiropractic when he received his first adjustment at 3 years old. As someone who has commonly struggled with vertigo throughout his life and always found relief through adjustments, he wanted to be able to aid his patients in the same way he had been helped.

When he isn’t at the office or digesting the latest research, Dr. Strader enjoys unwinding with a fiction novel or firing up a video game. He also creatively writes with two previous publications in The Sandhill Review, a local magazine at Saint Leo. He currently has a children’s book in the illustration stage and is hoping for a 2024 release date. Dr. Strader also has two secret talents: 1) knowing who the president was at any year since the birth of the country; 2) being able to recall what movie/show he has previously seen an actor in before.

Dr. Craig Pruitt, D.C. is a Director of Clinics, Chiropractor at Windermere

Dr. Pruitt was born in Providence, Rhode Island and was raised on a horse farm in Connecticut. Dr. Pruitt started getting spinal adjustments after he hurt his low back while serving in the United States Air Force. Not only did his low back and leg pain get better with chiropractic, but so did his headaches and other health conditions! When asked why he became a chiropractor, he said “...I felt so much better mentally and physically... everything was feeling and working better…I knew that I had to become a chiropractor after getting the results and I had to help others the same way.”

Dr. Pruitt graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic - Iowa in 1999 and opened a chiropractic office in Middletown, RI that same year. There, he adjusted families and visitors of Newport County for 22 years! “I always thought of our office as a community based chiropractic office. We served our community by organizing beach clean-ups, coat and glove drives, food drives, toy drives, school supply drives and other community based programs. Our office mostly had up to 5 generations of families getting their spine and nervous system adjusted - grandparents, moms, dads, kids and even infants. “We focused on helping them with both pain and wellness. It has always amazed me how consistent chiropractic care can help with all sorts of conditions, no matter what age people are.”, Dr. Pruitt said when The Joint asked him how he liked to practice. The Joint is a perfect match!

What Dr. Pruitt loves the most, is spending time with his wife and son and feeding family and friends. His other interests include fishing, surfing, fitness, cooking and growing food, finances, camping, music and “…just trying new stuff”.

Dr. Michael Bruno, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Windermere

Dr. Michael A Bruno was born in New York City and raised in New City, NY. He began his chiropractic journey while walking his Doberman in his subdivision and experienced numbness in the bicep. A friend referred him to Dr. Ed Defeo in Palm Coast. FL and the relief Dr. Bruno got from the adjustments convinced him to pursue a career in chiropractic.

Dr. Bruno is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose California 2001. His internship with Team Clinic in San Jose helped him hone his adjusting skills and take care of players from the San Francisco 49ers, San Jose Earthquake, and San Jose Sharks pro sports teams as well as the Goldrush Cheerleaders! Immediately after graduating, Dr. Bruno went into practice in the Atlanta suburb of Eagles Landing Country Club where the LPGA was held for many years.

After practicing for 21 years in GA he wanted to move back to FL. Dr. Bruno enjoys spending time with his Doberman Pinscher and Blonde lab mix Draco and Lana. When not with his dogs he enjoys staying in shape and being outside. Enjoying Formula One Racing as well as Imsa sports cars. He is also scuba certified and enjoys anything outside from horseback riding to flying private aircraft.

Dr. Patricia Herrmann, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Windermere

Dr. Patricia A. Herrmann was born and raised in the small mid-western town of Ravenna, Ohio near Kent State University. She started seeing a chiropractor when she was a child after being rear-ended. She continued going in her adult life while working as a Master Cosmetologist, a Cosmetology teacher, and as a Platform Artist for a major hair manufacturer, all the while running marathons and working out at the gym. During a successful career in the hair industry, she did costuming and make-up at the local theatre, designing and making anything from costumes to larger-than-life puppets. She has written and illustrated short stories, and painted wall murals in homes and restaurants.

After reaching several life goals, she was ready for something new. As someone who always works well with her hands, she liked the hands-on approach to health care through chiropractic. She attended Life University where she earned a Baccalaureate degree in nutrition as well as a Doctorate in chiropractic, class of 2000.

After graduation, she was hand-picked by a 40-year veteran chiropractor to work alongside in his Atlanta metro office where patients came from the world's busiest airport, corporations such as Porche, Delta, Coca-Cola, and FedEx. There she refined her adjusting skills, excelled in x-ray interpretation and diagnosis, and gained valuable knowledge of vast conditions of the spine as well as valuable skills in office management. With a partner, she went on to own and operate an office for 21 years practicing the Diversified technique in which her youngest patient was 3 days old and oldest patient was 99 years old.

Dr. Herrmann comes from a family of artists. She has written and illustrated short stories, painted wall murals in homes and restaurants, and designed and made clothing. She keeps herself busy with artistic baking, painting, sewing, theme parties, and cooking. She admits to being a roller coaster junkie and loves going to Universal and Busch Gardens, so chiropractic care for herself is natural.
