I'm Dr. Tom Franz, and have been a practicing Chiropractor for 20 years, after graduating The National College of Chiropractic, now the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard Illinois in 1996.
I was born and raised in Crystal Lake, Illinois however I completed my Undergraduate studies at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.
I have worked in a variety of different offices and found I like treating people of all ages and most enjoy spinal and extremity adjusting!
My passion is adjusting, however I also believe in doing a thorough consultation, examination and spinal assessment.
When I meet people outside the office and they are interested in care, I like to tell them, if I can help you I'll tell you, and if not, I'll tell you that too.
I have been involved in Sports and Athletics my whole life and definitely am an enthusiast.
I played Football and Baseball in my younger days and now greatly enjoy Golf!
I also enjoy Fishing, Reading and rooting for the Blackhawks.
Hi, my name is Dr. Alexis C. Gorman. I grew up in Palatine and now reside in Bartlett. I went to Northern Illinois University and got my BS in Public Health. I then attended National University of Health Sciences to pursue my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I have been practicing since 2012 and joined The Joint in January 2019. My personal mission is to help as many people as possible experience the amazing affects of chiropractic.
I got into chiropractic after undergrad. I started working for a chiropractor and had so much fun working with the patients and seeing the amazing results that I decided that I had to become a chiropractor. Since graduating I have worked with a wide range of patients. Ages 1 day old to 90+, Acute and Chronic pain patients to wellness and preventative care. I love educating the patients on the effects of subluxations (misalignments) and the amazing benefits of getting adjusted and being in alignment.
Outside of work, I am married and have been with my husband for 16 years now, have two sons, Zachery (4) and Jaxson (18 months) and a rescue dog Morgan who is now 10 years old. When I have down time I love to run, read and eat.
Dr. Robinson Alexis was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti and relocated to the U.S. when he was seven years old. After growing up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida he moved to Illinois to further his education. Dr. Alexis received his bachelors of science degree in movement science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
On January 10, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, killing more than 230,000 people and wounding more. Saddened by this tragic event, Dr. Alexis returned to Haiti to aid relief effort. During his time in Haiti, Dr. Alexis served as a translator for Haitian creole speakers and American English speakers. While serving as a translator, Dr. Alexis met an individual who changed his life. This life impacting individual was a chiropractor. Dr. Alexis watched him help countless people, while only using his hands.
Upon returning to the States, Dr. Alexis went on to achieve his doctorate of chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic where he was the president of Student American Black Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Alexis knows the power of chiropractic and is using the skills he learned in chiropractic school to change lives. His goal as a chiropractor is to identify how the body is impacted by daily life events, correct the imbalances that lead to the early degeneration and increased risk for injury and illness. Abnormalities are looked for in areas where there is pain and where there is no pain. Those abnormalities are addressed to increase my patient’s quality of life.
