Dr. Travis Thaler joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2025 when he became part of the team at the Evansville West clinic, where he does the rewarding work of helping people as their local healthcare provider.

“Helping people get out and stay out of pain is the best part of chiropractic,” he says. “I like changing people’s lives in ways that they did not think was possible. Most people think chiropractic is all about getting out of pain, but it does change how your body functions.”

Dr. Thaler previously worked in Henderson, Ky. and Moncks Corner, S.C. He grew up in New Jersey where he says, “We say what we are thinking.”

In his free time, Dr. Thaler enjoys reading, golfing, swimming, and walking.

He completed his undergraduate education at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio and earned a Doctorate at Logan University in Chesterfield, Mo.

“When I was in sixth grade I experienced back pain and went to several doctors to find out what was causing my pain,” he says. “None of them could determine the cause, so it was recommended that I try going to a chiropractor. He was able to figure out and correct the problem, and ever since then I have wanted to be a chiropractor.”

One of Dr. Thaler’s most significant experiences as a chiropractor was treating a patient with a rare condition and successfully easing his pain. He likes his work at The Joint because of how easy the process is for clients. “I like treating people without all the hassles of dealing with insurance or other third-party payers,” he says.

In Case You Didn’t Know

He always keeps water in his refrigerator. “It is essential to the body’s well-being and function,” he says.

If he was planning the ideal dinner party including four famous guests, Dr. Thaler would invite any of the founding fathers of the United States of America. “All of them had tremendous vision to create the greatest country in history,” he says.

One of his most memorable experiences in chiropractic school involved dissecting a body. “It gave me a clearer understanding of the human body and seeing deeper into what I would be working on for the rest of my life,” he says.

His favorite book is the devotional Maxwell Daily Reader by author and speaker John C. Maxwell. “It helps me be a better leader,” he says. “No matter how many times you read it you always learn something.”

Some of Dr. Thaler’s best advice came from his dad, who told him, “Keep plugging away.”

If asked for advice, he would offer the same as his father. “It stresses the point of not quitting when things get tough,” he says. “It also reminds you to keep going when you are trying to achieve your goals.”

Dr. Jane graduated from Logan University in 1994 and has spent her career specializing in individualized patient focused care. Dr. Jane grew up here in Evansville where she spent her career providing care to the patients of Indiana.

Dr. Jane’s passion for providing chiropractic care began in her interests of studying holistic care while in college suffering from neck pain while studying. She saw a chiropractor help her with her neck pain, and it inspired her to help others.

She especially enjoys working with patients intersted in long term care, health, and healing. Her approach begins by determining the root cause of pain and restoring the proper motion to the area so that patients may recieve pain relief and restore mobility.

Dr. Jane, while not at the office, enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Mazey and Raven. She also enjoys volunteering her time to foster dogs and help them find their forever families. Dr. Jane also enjoys reading mystery novels by her fireplace on rainy days.
