Dr. Patrick Moore received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, IL in 1994. He has had a passion for chiropractic ever since he was a sophomore in high school, when he experienced a headache that he couldn’t get relief from with medication. His mother took him to her long-time chiropractor, where Dr. Moore received quick relief, and from that point forward, he pursued the goal of being a chiropractor.
Prior to starting with The Joint, Dr. Moore owned his own practice in Speedway, IN for nine years before he took an opportunity to work in a network of chiropractors in 2004. Within this network, he became the Clinic Director before moving to a new position as Lead Chiropractor in charge of all patient care and day to day operations.
Dr. Moore has vast experience in chiropractic patient care with focus on rehabilitation of the spine, family/child care, and community education regarding the benefits of chiropractic care. Dr. Moore is a Hoosier native and met his wife while attending undergraduate studies at Milligan College, TN.
Dr. Moore’s primary hobbies include camping, fishing and enjoying a good book or visiting with friends and family.
Dr. Chris Gardner and his wife moved to the Indianapolis area in March 2024 from Asheville, N.C.
“The best part of being able to serve the community through chiropractic is being able to restore my patients’ ability to do the things that they love to do without the use of invasive treatments and recovery times,” he says. “The second-best thing about being in chiropractic is to be able to advocate for the body’s natural ability to self-maintain, self-regulate, and self-heal. This allows me to be an advocate for preventative wellness or maintenance care.”
Dr. Chris was born and raised in Bishopville, S.C. and previously served communities in South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves the outdoors and traveling.
He earned his doctorate from Sherman College of Chiropractic after getting a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Coker University in Hartsville, S.C.
“I knew chiropractic was my calling the moment that I was six months post-cervical spine injury with pain and went to a chiropractor for relief,” he says. “As a chiropractor, I have witnessed many times that people are relieved of pains and discomfort, but by far, the coolest thing is when a mom comes in with a breech baby and by adjusting only their spine, the baby returns to optimal position for delivery.”
In Case You Missed It
Dr. Chris likes serving people, and says “the coolest thing I’ve ever done was go to China to serve the underserved communities with chiropractic care.”
Among the most influential books, Dr. Chris references The One Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan. “I read this book many years ago when I was first starting chiropractic college,” Dr. Chris says. “This book helped me focus my thoughts and have the mindset to set and achieve my goals.”
The one thing he always keeps stocked in his refrigerator is sparkling water.
