Dr. David earned his Bachelors of Art (B.A.) Degree in Theatre from Western Connecticut State University and his Bachelors of Science (B.S.) Degrees in Anatomy and Health Sciences at Parker College of Chiropractic where he also later received his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree.

Dr. David O'Dell is committed to serving as many patients as possible in his life and to educating his community about the healing power of Chiropractic.

Dr. David’s life was forever changed by Chiropractic when he was involved in a serious car accident. Dr. David was scheduled for spinal surgery but had concerns about the risks and was afraid of the outcome. Against the advice of his medical doctors and his family that was full of medical doctors, Dr. David opted to see a Chiropractor instead. In 6 months, not only did he avoid risky spinal surgery, but Dr. David was healthier than he had ever been. Dr. David credits his Chiropractic care with equipping him to be able to work as a boom operator which required him to hold a 16 ft pole over his head all day during his 12 year career and he knew that he would someday become a Chiropractor. Because of his experience, Dr. David quit his promising career as a 3-time Emmy nominated boom operator and started his journey to becoming a Chiropractor.

Dr. David enjoys a variety of pastimes including gardening, rollerblading and hiking and he lives by the credo, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease,” quoting Thomas Edison.

Dr. Tremain Singleton joined The Joint Chiropractic family of local healthcare providers in 2016 and became part of the Killian Crossing team in 2018. He is a graduate of Life University, where he received a bachelor’s of science as well as a doctorate of chiropractic.

“The thing I love about being part of the chiropractic field is that we are one of the only professions in the world that have you leaving your appointment with a smile every time,” he says. “The other thing that’s gratifying is that I get to solve complex problems of the human body with the simplest of solutions: a chiropractic adjustment.”

Dr. Singleton grew up in the South. His wife is a nurse practitioner, and they share their home with a German shepherd named Roman. In his spare time, Dr. Singleton likes to engage in paintball go snorkeling.

“I knew chiropractic was my calling when a chiropractor, in just a few visits, fixed my recurring chronic strep throat issues that I had been suffering with from the age of 7 to 22,” he says. “So now, instead of getting strep throat every 90 days, I’ve only had it once in the 12 years since my first adjustment.”

He says he loves working in Columbia at the Killian Crossing location “because I get to help those who have lost all hope and guide them to the best health they will ever experience.”

“I would love to talk to Barack Obama because he is awesome and has wonderful insight,” Dr. Singleton says. “Elon Musk because he is a freaking genius; everything he touches turns to gold. Bruce Lee because his wisdom was decades beyond anyone in his time. Robert Smalls was a man of pure bravery, ingenuity, and smart; anyone who can go from being a slave to a member of the House of Representatives in the United States of America is someone to admire.”

Dr. Singleton says the coolest thing he has ever done took place in Arizona. “My wife and I took an old steam train ride through the Grand Canyon where we got robbed by a group of bandits on horseback for tips,” he says. “It was awesome because you really felt like you were in one of those old western movies.”

This place is a scam. They won't refund, so the least I can do is make sure no one makes the same mistake I did. I went there for about 2 months last summer, haven't been back since. I just received a phone call from them asking if I wanted to cancel an $80 subscription that had been coming out of my account for the last 9 months. The people were always friendly when i was in there, but they'll rob you blind. I had *NO IDEA* I was signing up for a subscription, now i'm out about $700 bucks. Avoid this business!

If you suffer from TMJ, chronic neck or shoulder pain and autoimmune disease I can’t gate keep any longer. I have been going to The Joint for years. I came in today and the girl informed me I had a balance from last time of $55. I said wish someone told me because I always buy packages. I said I will buy another package and that should cover both visits. She told me no I needed to pay $55 and then buy the package. I said no I guess I will just pay the balance and not be seen. It wasn’t my fault they didn’t tell me of my balance the last time I was seen. I had to end up Paying full price…… very disappointed

I have been seeing Dr. O’Dell for years, and definitely recommend this practice as well. This particular practice is wonderful and cost effective if you do not have insurance. I have been using both, depending on my work schedule. I always feel better, and experience a significant decrease in pain after an adjustment. 5 Stars, definitely recommend.

First visit was awesome. A black man ( no disrespect) was there and was awesome, he answered all our questions and helped me and my husband both. Second visit was on a Sunday and an older white man was there. He was rude and when I asked a serious question he dismissed me like I was a problem or a child and told me to take a seat. Then when my husband had to use restroom he was rude to him. If it were only the one black guy we would go but by chance we get that white guy we will NEVER GO BACK. You pay too much money to be treated so badly.

I love the joint I drive all the way from Harlan to Corbin and then Lexington just to use them the staff is so friendly and nice the doctors are great and I love how they blend using the activator and manual manipulation to accomplish the best results for their patients. Edit: I wish there was not a need to change my review but I don’t feel like I have a choice. The Joint will take money out of your account IF you give them your card. They aren’t direct about taking your money BEFORE they perform the service. Niobe tells you that until you sign a form to stop the automatic withdrawal then they’ll continue to steal. I say steal because they take it before they perform any services! Use them with caution and do not sign anything. The receptionist was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. T is amazing. He took the time to listen to my concerns and explained everything to me. He did an amazing job on all the adjustments. He’s very affordable too. I’m looking for to more visits with him. This chiropractor features two doctors that both have a ton of experience and knowledge. I’ve nearly eliminated migraines just by coming here once a week and being adjusted. I’d recommend to anyone that has issues with soreness or recurring headaches.

The Joint has been the best thing for me as a truck driver. I actually have access to a chiropractic network even though I drive over the road. And the doctors are able to keep track of the treatment I’ve had. I had been to a chiropractor before but it’s never been like this. Everyone on staff is sweet and attentive. In my consultation I was asked through questions and everything was explained in detail. Before going to The Joint Chiropractor I had never been to one and was skeptical on the whole idea of going. I use chiropractor care for many reasons now. I initially started going honestly because I just wanted my back popped. At 35 years old and never having been adjusted and one good blow to the tail bone due to an icy fall, I lived with pain that came and went and at times was unbearable until I found this place!! I now try and come weekly because not only do I get relief from pain but it has become my number one stress reliever. I could type 100+ reasons to all of the benefits of chiropractic care. For me the main reason is I just feel better, physically and mentally. I now look forward to the days I get adjusted. I also walk a little taller and sit a little straighter. Chiropractic care is just flat out beneficial all the way around. I have learned so much from Dr. ODell and his entire staff. They are so knowledgeable, efficient, professional and kind! They really care about their patients and over all well being. I recommend The Joint to anyone who is looking into or even just thinking about an adjustment! You won’t be disappointed!

I have been dealing with real bad siatic nerve pain in my right side for 3 weeks, nothing had helped I had cortisone shots and done physical therapy stretches for weeks and DR Tremain Singleton treatment was the best i had some immediate relief, he treated my whole body it will still take a few to get back to normal but the real respect and how he worked with me was amazing and so helpful because my back and right leg was in such pain and pressure. Dr. O’Dell quickly made me feel at ease with him treating my teenage kids. My youngest was nervous and he calmed her and earned her trust. After just the first visit both kids felt much better. I am so glad we found them. On top of that today he personally left me a voicemail checking on my kids and making sure they are doing good after their adjustment and to remind them to drink plenty of water. Every time I visit The Joint Chiropractic, I’m greeted by one of the friendly faces of the ladies at the front desk. Shortly after, Dr. Tanner is second to greet me & take me to the back for my adjustment. He is a very likable guy & is attentive to my chiropractic needs. He never pressures me to have an adjustment that I’m uncomfortable with & has been very patient with me during my healing process. You can tell that Dr. Tanner genuinely cares about his patients. Lastly, the value you get when you purchase their plan, is exceptional (compared to other chiropractic care I have received in the past).
