Dr. Garrett Winkler joined The Joint Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri in March 2019 and has quickly established himself with his patients. He was named Clinic Director in October 2019.

Dr. Winkler is a 2014 graduate of the University of Indiana at Bloomington, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During his time at IU he focused on animal behavior, entrepreneurship and small business management.

Having had great experiences with chiropractic care for his own back pain, he knew it was his calling to become a chiropractor. So it was only natural that his healthcare education culminated with a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic right here in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Winkler says the best thing about being in the chiropractic profession and a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Chesterfield is, “Seeing patients come back without the pain that had been bothering them for so long and hearing patients talk about the things they are able to do again thanks to chiropractic care.”

Dr. Winkler says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Chesterfield is rewarding. “I always liked being able to help other people, and getting to know people every day is so enjoyable and feels right.”

In addition to spending time with his wife Julie, during his free time Dr. Winkler likes to stay active. He enjoys golf, cycling, basketball, soccer and volleyball.

Dr. Winkler has a Morkie named Milly. A Morkie is a maltese and yorkie mix.

Perhaps Milly would join Dr. Winkler at his perfect dinner party. Among those included would be Teddy Roosevelt, John Wooden to gain insight into the mind of one of the greatest basketball coaches of all time, Tom Hanks because he is an interesting, down to earth guy despite all of his fame, and two of his grandparents. “Teddy Roosevelt lived an incredible life,” says Dr. Winkler. “I would want to know all the things he’d seen and the ways he got so much done.”

While that would be interesting, Dr. Winkler says the coolest thing he’s ever done was getting married: “My wife is my best friend and my favorite person. Our wedding day was perfect and is one of the best days of my life so far!”

Dr. Caleb Brown joined The Joint Chiropractic clinics located in Saint Peters, Missouri, Creve Coeur, Missouri, Chesterfield, Missouri, Des Peres, Missouri, O’Fallon, Missouri and St. Louis, Missouri in 2022.

Dr. Brown is originally from Enfield, Illinois and attended Marquette University with a focus on Biomechanical Engineering and Materials Science. He graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.

Dr. Brown became interested in chiropractic because of his interest in biomechanics and knew it was his calling because he says, “It’s the perfect combination of hands-on, patient-focused work and biomechanics.” He decided to attend Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2021.

Dr. Brown says the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is, “I get to work directly with patients to help solve problems.”

He says the best thing about working at The Joint Chiropractic is, “They are working hard to provide chiropractic care to a population that has not had the opportunity before.”

Dr. Brown enjoys playing video games during his free time and spending time with his dog, a Shar-Pei Pitbull mix.

Dr. Brown says that he always stocks water in the fridge. “It’s my beverage of choice,” he says.

Dr. Brown says his perfect dinner party which would be made up entirely of family. He would include, “My mother, my grandparents and my fiancée because they are the people I care about most.”

Dr. Brown says the coolest thing he’s had the opportunity to do was attending a youth leadership conference in Washington, DC. “We had the opportunity to walk the halls of Congress and listen to many influential people,” he says.
