Dr. Jordan Tharp was born and raised in Cameron, Missouri. After graduating high school, Dr. Tharp went on to attend Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. During his tenure at Northwest State University, Dr. Tharp competed in Track and field while also being a member of a science honor society, Tri Beta. In 2012, Dr. Tharp finished his undergraduate degree with a bachelor’s of science in Biology/psychology.
After college, Dr. Tharp decided to move back to Cameron, Missouri. Eager to serve his home town, Dr. Tharp brought his knowledge and talents as a personal trainer to the community. In 2014, Dr. Tharp enrolled at the Cleveland University Kansas City where he would pursue his dreams of becoming a chiropractor. In 2018, he graduated from Cleveland University of Kansas City in Overland Park, Kansas and decided to move out west to Arizona.
Dr. Tharp chose the chiropractic profession in order to empower others to live a healthier lifestyle through a more holistic approach. He began his chiropractic career in Tempe, Az., where he worked in numerous clinics in both east and west valleys for The Joint. Recently, he has moved back to his home state of Missouri where he can serve and share his passion for chiropractic amongst a familiar community. Dr. Tharp is excited to be back at The Joint to improve the proactive wellness team in the Kansas City area.
Dr. Walburn has been with The Joint in some capacity since 2017. After graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Dr. Walburn practiced in Colorado and Utah before having the opportunity to become the PC over The Joint clinics in the Kansas City metro area. Dr. Walburn loves The Joint’s model that makes it quick and easy for patients to get regular care and enhance physical function in their day to day lives, allowing them to live a healthier active lifestyle.
In his spare time, Dr. Walburn loves to travel, and enjoys spending time outdoors, typically road biking or touring, and has ridden many miles across the country, seeing some amazing sites. Coming back to the Kansas City area allows Dr. Walburn to spend more with his family.
Dr Walburn has had the opportunity to treat patients from 2 days old to youngsters 94 years of age. Dr. Sharla McFadden has devoted over 15 years of her professional life as a chiropractor to help patients in the Kansas City area achieve optimal health. Growing up in Chillicothe, MO, she attended high school before completing her undergraduate studies at Truman State University. Dr. McFadden earned her Bachelor's degree in Human Biology and her Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. She is a dedicated lifelong learner who consistently seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and clinical skills through advanced certifications and training.
Dr. McFadden firmly believes in the power of chiropractic care as a natural and safe way to promote healing within the human body. Her personalized approach to care ensures that every patient receives the individualized attention and treatment they need to improve their health. She particularly enjoys working with women and children and has witnessed firsthand the benefits that chiropractic care can provide to expectant mothers and their unborn children.
Outside of work, Dr. McFadden cherishes spending time with her family and engaging in outdoor activities like traveling to local parks, lakes, and camping. With her extensive experience and compassionate nature, Dr. McFadden remains dedicated to helping patients achieve their optimal health and wellbeing.
Dr. Tucker is a Doctor of Chiropractic practicing in Prairie Village. She finds and corrects misalignments of the spine and of the extremities through the chiropractic adjustment. She developed her interest in chiropractic after graduating from Kansas State University in 2011. Following graduation, she attended Cleveland University- Kansas City and received her chiropractic degree. Dr. Tucker treats patients of all ages and is passionate about helping them reach wellness through routine chiropractic care. When she's not in the office, Dr. Tucker enjoys spending time with her family and ballroom dancing.
