Dr. Nicholas Divan joined The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Missouri in October 2019 as Clinic Director and has established a great following in the community.
Originally from Mission Viejo, California, Dr. Divan is a 2010 graduate of the University of Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He became interested in chiropractic while dealing with frequent injuries as a swimmer when other forms of therapy weren’t helping, and earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic right here in St. Louis, Missouri in 2013.
Dr. Divan says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur is rewarding: “The best thing about being in the chiropractic profession and a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur is getting to focus on what I do best – educating and treating patients about proper biomechanics as well as the importance of maintaining spinal health.”
Dr. Divan’s professional journey has included a stint working in Rancho Santa Margarita, California and 5+ years in St. Louis.
During his free time, Dr. Divan enjoys lifting weights, cooking and grilling in the St. Louis and Creve Coeur, Missouri areas, as well as spending time with family, friends, his wife Jennifer and 2 dogs – Stella and Paisley.

Dr. Divan is a member of the St. Louis Royals Rugby alumni, where he played for 2 years.
Dr. Divan’s perfect dinner party would include his wife, maternal grandfather Tom, swimming mentor Chad Carvin and chiropractic mentor Dr. Flores. “It would at least be very entertaining for everyone around us,” he says.
Dr. Divan says the coolest thing he’s ever done was competing in the 2008 USA Swimming Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska. “Not only did I get to compete at the highest level and achieve my dream as a swimmer, but my family took 40 of my closest family and friends were there to cheer me on!”
Dr. Ali Johler joined The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Missouri and St. Peters, Missouri in October 2020. She has worked the chiropractic field since 2012 in various capacities and previously practiced in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Johler is originally from St. Charles, Missouri. She attended Missouri Baptist University in Creve Coeur, Missouri on a cheerleading scholarship before attending Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. There she received her Bachelor of Life Science Degree in 2017, Master of Sport Science and Rehabilitation Degree in 2019 and her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2019.
Dr. Johler became interested in chiropractic through personal experience. “The care I received as a student athlete really motivated me to pursue the field,” she says. She ultimately knew chiropractic was her calling because she has always been passionate about science, health and human performance.
Dr. Johler says the best thing about working in the chiropractic field is, “There are no drugs needed to help people heal. The body heals itself,” she says.
Dr. Johler enjoys working at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur and Cottleville because of the care the patients receive is affordable and easily attainable. “No one else in the field is open on Sundays, and I think that is awesome,” she says.
Dr. Johler stays busy with her dog Kimber – a Chocolate Dalmation. During her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors kayaking, fishing and playing sand volleyball.

Dr. Johler says one thing she has to have in her refrigerator is Sriracha. “I can’t live without it,” she says.
Dr. Johler might serve a dish topped with Srirache at her perfect dinner party which would include Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, Clint Eastwood and Reba McEntire. “Good music and great conversation, of course!” says Dr. Johler.
Dr. Johler says two of the coolest things she’s ever done have been skydiving and swimming with sharks. “I’m a thrill seeker!” she says.
Dr. Kamryn Terveer joined The Joint Chiropractic in Saint Peters, Missouri and Creve Coeur, Missouri in October 2020. She previously worked in Nashville, Illinois. Dr. Terveer is originally from Troy, Illinois and originally attended Southwestern Illinois College where she earned her Associate of Science Degree in 2013.
Dr. Terveer became interested in chiropractic through personal experience. “I was motivated to go into chiropractic because I used to suffer from migraines that were debilitating. After getting regular chiropractic care, I no longer experience them and I want to do that for other people without the use of medications,” she says.
She attended Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2016 and subsequently her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2019. She also earned her Master of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois in 2020.
Dr. Terveer knew chiropractic was her calling because she learned it helps to heal the body in holistic ways and dates all the way back to the 1800s. “The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is seeing patients improve who have suffered from chronic pain for most of their lives. I get to help them live again,” she says.
Dr. Terveer enjoys working at The Joint Chiropractic in Cottleville and Creve Coeur because of the wellness approach to affordable healthcare.
Dr. Terveer stays busy with her dog Nalah – an English Mastiff. During her free time she enjoys cooking/baking, crafting, playing guitar and spending time with family. Dr. Terveer is also part of an organization that promotes women in the workplace and helps to tutor/mentor students on confidence and leadership.

Dr. Terveer says her perfect dinner party would include Edgar Allan Poe, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Alexander Hamilton. “I’m a little bit of a history fanatic,” she says.
Dr. Terveer says the coolest thing she’s ever done is go for a ride in a military grade helicopter at Scott Air Force Base. It was an experience I will never forget,” she says.
Dr. Joaquin Sumaya joined The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Missouri, Chesterfield, Missouri and St. Peters, Missouri in July 2020 after spending more than a year at the Arnold, Missouri location.
Originally from Garden City, Kansas, Dr. Sumaya embarked on his college career at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas where he earned a Bachelor of Public Administration. He later attended Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri and graduated with a degree in Human Biology before finishing with his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2014.
Dr. Sumaya was originally motivated to get into chiropractic once he saw the world turning more and more towards pills and surgery.
Dr. Sumaya says the best thing about being in the chiropractic profession and a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Cottleville and Chesterfield is, “Seeing a patient who has tried “everything” and then tries chiropractic and is amazed at the results.”
Dr. Sumaya says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Chesterfield and Cottleville is rewarding and because he is able to see “A large variety of patients from different backgrounds with the same goal about getting their life back.”
Dr. Sumaya enjoys spending time with his wife Magda and children Emilio, Felipe and Diego. He also stays active with exercise and cooking.

Dr. Sumaya has a beagle named Rambo. Rambo would join Dr. Sumaya at his perfect dinner party at which he would cook steaks for his parents, wife and children since he loves to cook and loves his family.
Dr. Sumaya says the coolest thing he’s ever done was has been traveling to many other countries and, “living not as a tourist but embracing the culture.”
Dr. Kendrick Morris joined The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Missouri and St. Peters, Missouri in November 2020. He has worked the chiropractic field since 2005 in various capacities and previously practiced in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and New Madrid, Missouri.
Dr. Morris is originally from Batesville, Mississippi. He attended Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology He later attended Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. There he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.
Dr. Morris became interested in chiropractic after being in a car accident. After that he ultimately knew chiropractic was his calling. “I didn’t find chiropractic. Chiropractic found me,” he says.
Dr. Morris says the best thing about working in the chiropractic field is, “Changing lives one spine at a time.” He enjoys working at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur and Cottleville because he is able to improve the quality of life of the patients he treats.
Dr. Morris stays spending time with his family, playing pool and exercising. He’s also associated with Boys & Girls Club.

Dr. Morris might serve breakfast for dinner at his perfect dinner party which would include his 4 children. “They are smart, silly and a lot of fun,” he says.
Dr. Morris says one of the coolest things he has done was scoring 5 touchdowns in a high school football game.
Dr. Justin White joined The Joint Chiropractic clinics located in Saint Peters, Missouri, Creve Coeur, Missouri and O’Fallon, Missouri in 2021.
Dr. White is originally from Maine – most recently Winthrop. He attended the University of Maine and graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Kinesiology and Physical Education.
“I got into chiropractic by making the most of an opportunity that was brought up after doing my internship at the conclusion of undergrad. I worked with a Doctor of Chiropractic, got to know him, and ended up getting his recommendation to earn my doctorate,” says Dr. White.
So, it was off to Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2018.
Dr. White knew chiropractic was his calling after realizing the impact he could have on patients’ lives. “It was exciting to feel the urge to sculpt the best treatment for each patient,” he says. “The feeling of changing their lives visit by visit and feeling the appreciation the patients have for you when you can do this, made me fall in love with chiropractic.”
Dr. White says the best thing about working at The Joint Chiropractic is, “Taking part in a growing business while continuing to serve people’s needs.”
Dr. White enjoys spending time with his wife Alexis and their two dogs – Theo & Quinn. He also enjoys cooking, hiking, playing basketball and watching St. Louis sports.

Dr. White says that he always stocks his fridge with BBQ sauce. “Can’t go wrong with BBQ sauce. It makes everything better,” he says.
Dr. White says his perfect dinner party would include NFL quarterback Tom Brady, actor Jim Carrey, motivational speaker Tony Robbins and “some strange character to keep Jim Carrey busy”. He adds, “I’ve always respected Tom for his work ethic and respect for the game and Tony Robbins just gets me fired up.”
Dr. White says the coolest thing he has ever done was climbing across Knife Edge Trail at Mt. Katahdin in Maine. “That had to been one of the riskiest things I’ve done,” he says. “Nearly a mile up, looking ahead at your very narrow rocky path without almost straight down drops of both sides of the path. At the summit of the mountain (where the application trail ends) there was no noise, just silence.”
