Dr. Nicholas Divan joined The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Missouri in October 2019 as Clinic Director and has established a great following in the community.
Originally from Mission Viejo, California, Dr. Divan is a 2010 graduate of the University of Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He became interested in chiropractic while dealing with frequent injuries as a swimmer when other forms of therapy weren’t helping, and earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic right here in St. Louis, Missouri in 2013.
Dr. Divan says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur is rewarding: “The best thing about being in the chiropractic profession and a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur is getting to focus on what I do best – educating and treating patients about proper biomechanics as well as the importance of maintaining spinal health.”
Dr. Divan’s professional journey has included a stint working in Rancho Santa Margarita, California and 5+ years in St. Louis.
During his free time, Dr. Divan enjoys lifting weights, cooking and grilling in the St. Louis and Creve Coeur, Missouri areas, as well as spending time with family, friends, his wife Jennifer and 2 dogs – Stella and Paisley.

Dr. Divan is a member of the St. Louis Royals Rugby alumni, where he played for 2 years.
Dr. Divan’s perfect dinner party would include his wife, maternal grandfather Tom, swimming mentor Chad Carvin and chiropractic mentor Dr. Flores. “It would at least be very entertaining for everyone around us,” he says.
Dr. Divan says the coolest thing he’s ever done was competing in the 2008 USA Swimming Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska. “Not only did I get to compete at the highest level and achieve my dream as a swimmer, but my family took 40 of my closest family and friends were there to cheer me on!”
Dr. James Parish joined The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Missouri in October 2013 as our original primary chiropractor. He now works part-time hours, still seeing many of the patients with whom he established a following.
Dr. Parish is a 2000 graduate of Webster University in St. Louis, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Audio Production. His journey in to the chiropractic field developed after having his own back pain which was successfully treated by a chiropractor. He earned a Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Parish says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur is rewarding for one main reason: “Relieving the pain of our patients is extremely satisfying.”
Prior to working at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Dr. Parish previously established himself in practices in Bloomington, Illinois, as well as both St. Louis and Town & Country, Missouri.
Dr. Parish helped to develop a series of chiropractic brochures for The Joint Chiropractic in Missouri with a focus on low back pain, hip pain, neck pain, and headaches.
Dr. Parish enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 children and 2 dogs. He also enjoys gardening, attending concerts, and roasting coffee in addition to volunteering for the Food Roof in downtown St. Louis.

Dr. Parish says the he always stocks Cholula Hot Sauce in his refrigerator because, “All other hot sauces are inferior.”
Dr. Parish might choose to serve hot sauce on one of his favorite dishes at his perfect dinner party. Included would be his wife, his grandpa Scholl who died before he was old enough to really know him and had some amazing life experiences, songwriter and musician Jason Isbell, and Michael Pollan because he is a wonderful advocate for the use of natural farming and gardening methods.
The coolest thing Dr. Parish has ever done was hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back out. “It was the hardest thing I have ever done and it taught me that if I really push myself I can accomplish more than I think I can,” he says.
Dr. Dennis Brick joined The Joint Chiropractic clinics located in Saint Peters, Missouri and Creve Coeur, Missouri in 2019 and quickly garnered a great following among both our weekday and weekend patients.
Dr. Brick is originally from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and came to the United States to attend Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
He became interested in chiropractic after receiving treatment of his own. “Chiropractic allowed me to continue playing sports in college after injuries.” He went on to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri in 2016.
Dr. Brick says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Cottleville and Creve Coeur is rewarding because, “I’m able to help so many people by seeing a high volume of patients.”
During his free time Dr. Brick enjoys spending time with his wife Wendy and daughter Brynnleigh, as well as spending time at the gym.

Dr. Brick says that he always stocks chicken and beef in the fridge. “I have a high protein diet!” he says.
Dr. Brick could serve chicken or beef at his perfect dinner party which would include hockey legend Bobby Orr, former baseball great Roy Halladay, and his mother and father. “Those are 2 of my sports idols and the people that raised me to be who I am today.”
Dr. Brick says the coolest thing he’s ever done was when he and his wife visited Hawaii and drove up to Waimea Canyon. “It was the first time I have seen a truly breathtaking place,” he says.
Dr. Jesse Politowski joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2019, working in our Saint Peters and Creve Coeur offices in the St. Louis, Missouri area.
Dr. Politowski hails from St. Louis, Missouri and was motivated to get into chiropractic after working in a business environment. “I realized inside there was a drive to help others,” says Dr. Politowski.
Dr. Politowski attended Lindenwood University where he earned a Bachelors of Business Administration before earning a Master in Marketing. He went on to from Logan College of Chiropractic and earned a Bachelor in Life Sciences and ultimately his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2013.
Dr. Politowski has an extensive history in the chiropractic field, working in Indian, Indonesia, Vietnam, Oman, Thailand, Cambodia and Singapore, in addition to St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Politowski says the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is, “Helping people live a better life ever y day. Reducing that pain, improving that function to help them have a better life.” He says the best thing about working at The Joint Chiropractic in Cottleville and Creve Coeur is: “The people I get to meet every day.”
Dr. Politowski likes to stay as active as possible. He’s into exercise, yoga and rock climbing. He also enjoys hiking and camping and at home he enjoys cooking and reading.

Dr. Politowski says that he always stocks his fridge with hummus. “It’s a really versatile condiment,” he says.
Dr. Patrick could utilize hummus at his perfect dinner party. Included would be Ernest Hemingway, John Steinbeck, Mark Twain and J.D. Sallinger. “One of my goals in life is to write a novel. I would love to have a night and just listen to stories from them,” he says.
Dr. Politowski says he does things with an open mind and sense of adventure, but say, “I’m sure there are cool people out there doing way cooler things than I have.”
