Dr. Eric Legault is the Clinic Director at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Missouri, bringing 20 years of chiropractic experience to the patients and community he serves. Known to his patients as Dr. Eric, he is dedicated to providing patient-centered, results-driven chiropractic care focused on improving function, reducing pain, and supporting long-term health through natural, hands-on treatment.

Originally from Montreal, Canada, Dr. Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2005. His passion for chiropractic began in his teenage years through competitive sports and regular chiropractic care. That passion led him to the United States, where a hockey scholarship to Life University allowed him to pursue both athletics and his professional calling.

“I wanted a career that focuses on addressing the root cause of musculoskeletal problems, improving function, and helping patients heal without relying on medication or surgery,” Dr. Eric said. “Chiropractic allows me to build meaningful, one-on-one relationships while delivering care that truly makes a difference.”

Throughout his career, Dr. Eric has practiced in multiple settings, including private practice ownership, which helped shape his core values of integrity, accountability, clinical competence, and clear communication. These principles continue to guide his leadership and patient care at The Joint Chiropractic.

“The best thing about being a chiropractor is seeing real improvements in patients’ lives every day through hands-on, patient-centered care,” he shared.

Dr. Eric joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2022 and appreciates the model that allows him to focus on what matters most: providing consistent, accessible, and efficient chiropractic care that prioritizes patient outcomes.

“Working at The Joint allows me to focus entirely on patient care in a system that values movement, safety, and results,” he said.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Eric enjoys playing hockey and roller hockey, staying active, and spending quality time with his family. He has been married to his wife, Christina, for 20 years, and together they have three children, Alessandra, Izabel, and Liam. While many weekends are spent at hockey rinks, baseball fields, or soccer games, the family enjoys quick beach trips near Sarasota or Destin, Florida, and longer visits to Canada to spend time with extended family.

Fun fact: Dr. Eric’s first language is French, and he did not speak English when he moved to the United States. As a collegiate goaltender at Life University, he helped lead his team to three ACHA Division II National Championships during his four seasons.
