Dr. Doug Kinne joined The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Missouri in June 2016 as our primary chiropractor and has established a great following in the community.
Dr. Kinne is a 1986 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. He was always interested in the chiropractic and earned a Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Life Science from Logan College of Chiropractic right here in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Kinne says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur is rewarding since he is able to help others: “The best thing about being in the chiropractic profession and a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur is having the ability to provide quality chiropractic care at an affordable price. Through his professional journey, including a stint working in Missoula, Montana, Dr. Kinne has learned to serve all types of people from babies to grandparents and a range of cases, including headache relief, sciatica pain, neck pain, and lower back pain through the use of manual manipulation. He is certified in several techniques with an emphasis in Diversified and Thompson.

Dr. Kinne says the he always has eggs stocked in his refrigerator: “There are so many dishes that can be made using them.”
Dr. Kinne would choose his favorite egg dish for his perfect dinner party, which would include Abraham Lincoln, Jon Krakauer, Tom Hanks and his dad. “It would make for a great and varied conversation,” he says.
While that would be interesting, Dr. Kinne says the coolest thing he’s ever done was flying an ultralight over Kauai: “The sights and images of mountains and ocean cannot be described in words!”
Dr. Kristan Wilson joined The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Missouri in November 2016 and has established a great following among our weekend customers.
Dr. Wilson is a 2001 graduate of Southwestern Illinois College where she earned an Associate of Applied Science Paramedic Science degree. Her foray into healthcare continued in 2011 when she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Biology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.
Dr. Wilson knew chiropractic was her ultimate calling after being injured in a severe accident when she was 17. She was able to avoid surgery or permanent disability due to the great chiropractic care she received. So it was only natural that her healthcare education continued with a Doctor of Chiropractic and Masters of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Wilson says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur is rewarding since she is able to help others: “The best thing about being in the chiropractic profession and a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur is having the ability to help people heal naturally and The Joint offers the flexibility for people to come in when it is convenient for them.”
Dr. Wilson has developed a specialization and motivation for providing chiropractic care during pregnancy: “One of the most important times for a woman to receive chiropractic care is during her pregnancy when the body goes through a series of changes that can result in pain or discomfort.”
Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with her husband, son, 2 dogs and 2 hermit crabs. She also enjoys reading, cycling, hiking, running, movies, and concerts.

The coolest thing Dr. Wilson has ever done was snorkeled with sharks in the reefs off of the Dominican Republic.
Dr. James Parish joined The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Missouri in October 20113 as our original primary chiropractor. He now has part-time hours, still seeing many of the customers he established a following with.
Dr. Parish is a 2000 graduate of Webster University in St. Louis, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Audio Production. His journey in to the chiropractic field developed after having his own back pain which was successfully treated by a chiropractor. He earned a Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Parish says being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur is rewarding for one main reason: “Relieving the pain of our customers is extremely satisfying.”
Prior to working at The Joint Chiropractic in Creve Coeur, Dr. Parish previously established himself in practices in Bloomington, Illinois, as well as both St. Louis and Town & Country, Missouri.
Dr. Parish helped to develop a series of chiropractic brochures for The Joint Chiropractic in Missouri with a focus on low back pain, hip pain, neck pain, and headaches.
Dr. Parish enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 children and 2 dogs. He also enjoys gardening, attending concerts, and roasting coffee in addition to volunteering for the Food Roof in downtown St. Louis.

Dr. Parish says the he always stocks Cholula Hot Sauce in his refrigerator because, “All other hot sauces are inferior.”
Dr. Parish might choose to serve hot sauce on one of his favorite dishes at his perfect dinner party. Included would be his wife, his grandpa Scholl who died before he was old enough to really know him and had some amazing life experiences, songwriter and musician Jason Isbell, and Michael Pollan because he is a wonderful advocate for the use of natural farming and gardening methods.
The coolest thing Dr. Parish has ever done was hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back out. “It was the hardest thing I have ever done and it taught me that if I really push myself I can accomplish more than I think I can,” he says.
