Was charged over $80 for a membership I absolutely never signed up for. Very rude front desk person and I never received a refund. This has hurt my household beyond belief. Do not trust "Dr Matt" or this joint at all. Complete scam. And, minimally effective/remedial treatment. They should not be in business and buyers should be aware.

I started coming here because of lower back and tailbone pain. As a flight attendant, my back takes a beating in the jump seat and just the other physical aspects of my job. It had gotten to a point where I couldn't even sit comfortably for my 45min commuter flight. I've been going there for 6mo and I'm happy to say I'm pain free! I still have my monthly membership because I feel strongly that it's something you have to continue doing; it's routine maintenance like going to your dentist or primary care. I love Dr. Matt Wise and his team - no matter which chiropractor I get, they take care of me. They also help me with my sinuses, too! It's always such a friendly experience when I visit and I would recommend it to anyone!

I was incredibly skeptical coming in for my first-ever chiropractic visit, but my experience was wonderful from start to finish.
Dr. Kalm immediately put me at ease and made me feel completely comfortable. He took the time to educate me thoroughly on what was happening, which was hugely reassuring. During the more intense adjustments, his ability to distract me was brilliant!
For my second visit, I saw Dr. Matt, and he was equally fantastic. He was very friendly and made sure I felt completely comfortable throughout the entire process. He was quick, efficient, and clearly assured that my overall treatment plan was being followed correctly.

This was probably the worst chiropractic experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been to several other joint locations and I’ve never had a problem. I didn’t feel that this chiropractor at this location on the day that I went did a very good job on getting me the relief that I needed. Also, they tried to get me to sign up for a six pack plan where if you look at the upfront cost, and then the cost per visit ends up being more expensive than if you just pay the per visit cost.

All I can say is that I've lost count of how many migraines/pinched nerves that Dr. Matt has rescued me from, and he is mindful of my connective tissue disorder. The hours are incredibly convenient, considering most chiropractic hours are very limited and my spine seems to know this. I was hesitant to try a "chain" place, but I am so very glad that I did, I leave every visit feeling very grateful and pain-free.

Staff was great but was surprised by return visit. I involved myself with this operation a couple of years ago and thought it was great but every time the staff were different. Some better than others. Quantity over quality. But you get so many a month or just $29. But you know what they charged me... close to $70. I could a really good chiropractor for that, not someone learning the ropes. Insane. Follow up: $29 sign. From previous experience like $90 a month for 5 visits. A lot less than $29. Show up after years. Charged $70. Insane. Do you know the level of service you get at an individual Chiropractic practice. Far greater than Joint. Joint is like the fast food Chiropractor. To be charged $70 for this service is insane and just chases people away. Bad business practice.

I see Dr. Denzel on a regular basis, and his methods of adjustment are very gentle, but effective for me. He is a practitioner who is focused on the patient as an individual, applying the best healing approach for that person. He shares his methodology with the patient as it proceeds. I have special issues in regards to a neck injury, and he listens and is responsive with a more gentle approach. He is one of the ONLY doctors whom I trust completely. It can be intimidating to lay down on the table and feel comfortable, but after an adjustment with Dr. Denzel, you will feel relaxed and at ease. I recommend him!

I signed up for a 6 to 8-week chiropractic treatment plan on January 9, 2024, and was charged $98 and $45 up front. I signed an agreement, which I thought was just for the treatment I specifically requested. However, I later realized that there was a clause stating I would need to visit in person to cancel the agreement—something I unfortunately missed at the time. I had made it clear I only wanted 6 to 8 weeks of care, but they went ahead and charged me $79 every month for 8 months, totaling $632—without my knowledge!
I only realized this after reviewing my credit card charges a few weeks ago. I immediately contacted the clinic and explained that I had only visited their office twice and had no idea I was being charged monthly. At first, they refused to give me the contact information for the owner, but after insisting in person, I was finally able to speak with the manager, C.G. He told me that since I had signed the agreement, they wouldn’t refund my money. After pushing further, he said he'd call me the following week, but I didn’t hear back for two weeks.
Eventually, I had to text him, and he only offered to refund me for 2 months of charges! Despite my efforts, I haven’t been able to get the rest of my money back.
If you're considering going to this place, I urge you to think twice (or even three times)! They are not transparent with their billing and seem more focused on squeezing extra money out of their clients than providing proper care. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for chiropractic services.

The system is always down when you need to cancel but ready to go when they need to bill you. Our early experience was great here, but no longer.

I went for my first visit today. From the moment you walk in you can tell this place is different, in a good way. First, the music playing throughout the office is not you typical doctor's office Muzak, from Led Zeppelin to Dolly Parton! Olivia was manning the front desk friendly as can be!

I have been going to the Joint for years, but recently moved and this is the closest location to me, so I checked it out. It was terrible and I will never go back- I will continue to go to other locations, despite them being further. Both the front desk person and the chiropractor were kind of weird and not very friendly, I waited for about 30 minutes with only one patient in the back when I got there. That's the longest I've ever waited at one of their locations, and normally the front desk person says 'hey it's a long wait, is that fine?'. This person did not do this, just checked me in and then chatted with some other patients who came in after me. The music was odd and too loud, the chiropractor used much different techniques than I'm used to. I went in with lower back pain and left with the same amount of lower back pain but also some mysterious arm pain, and had to go to my regular location (Euclid) a couple days later to get the damage from this session fixed.

I had a significant herniation of a disc and the first visit releaved symptoms for several days. When symptoms returned Dr. Allanna realized how much pain I was in and ordered images that discovered a more imminent need for treatment. Dr Alanna is excellent. I bartend 12-14 hour shifts on my feet, lift/move kegs, and carry cases of beer/liquor. I didn't know how bad I had let my body get until I sat down with Alanna. Let’s just say I was forced to visit this establishment by my husband who regularly sees a chiropractor. I’ve been terrified by horror stories and never wanted to step foot in a place that I “ thought “ would leave be broken. ….until I met Alanna. She literally sat next to me and not above me asking questions and explaining to me the steps she would be doing. I truly had fear for no reason. Further more I had no clue of the health benefits (which she explained to me in detail- I was really smiling on the inside) that I would be gaining adding her to my life. I was talked into the wellness package by Olivia ?and honestly, I’m actually looking forward to my next visit.

My family looks forward to visiting Dr. Alanna and Olivia every week. Olivia welcomes us with enthusiasm and Dr. Alanna helps us with every ache, pain and general life advice. As new parents, visiting weekly has helped us with any new stress while also having our newborn adjusted every week. We are happy to say she sleeps through the night and is great and we contribute a lot of that to Dr. Alanna and her work with her. My wife was adjusted weekly leading up to the birth of our daughter which immensely helped with a smooth delivery and any aches and discomforts pregnancy can bring. The monthly pass is the best bang for the buck you can get as getting adjusted weekly has helped with my wife and I’s sleeping, stress and overall comfort. Every visit is a wonderful experience since I've been receiving treatment at the joint on Chippewa. Dr. Alanna is in a class of her own, Skills top notch. They got me in for my first visit within hours of me calling and asking. I have a few complex medical conditions that cause chronic pain and joint dislocations. I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, so my bones are constantly sliding out of place. Thank goodness for Dr Alanna and all of the Joint Chiropractic team!! I've been going for adjustments at least weekly for years at other area Joint locations. When this one opened just down the road from my home in Spring 2022, I was overjoyed! When my connective tissue is being extra stupid, I'm in to see the doc more than once a week. It had been a very long time since I had seen a chiropractor, and I was way over due. My main reason why it took me so long to see one was because I didn't think I could afford it having no insurance. Thank goodness I found the Joint because their plans are very affordable for the great quality of life improvements they offer. The entire staff here is awesome! My six month old and I get adjusted and it is always an amazing experience. We both leave feeling good and relaxed. I live in my head but my stress lives in my neck and a fair bit of pain lives in my right shoulder and left hip. After Dr. Alanna's first adjustment my neck pain is gone, after a day of being a touch sore. My shoulder needed the ice pack I was given afterwards. I've had three visits now, and each time I've left feeling better. My shoulder still hurts, but it also feels like it needs to learn where it is supposed to live, and that seems good, like progress.
Every so often I stretch and something new pops. It's a little unnerving. I've been given stretches as homework and I feel a bit like I'm on a team, that I'm not alone in my hope for improvements in the condition of my meat prison. My experience has been phenomenal, much like Dr. Alanna and Olivia at the front desk; they are both utterly charming. I'm really glad I took a chance on this.
Dr. Alanna asks great questions, and I feel heard. I surprised by how short my appointments are! A whole lot gets addressed very quickly and I'm out and on my way fast.

Was a wonderful experience! I have never been to a chiropractor before, but I think I'll be a regular now. Olivia at the front desk was fun and energetic. Dr. McNelly was extremely helpful!
