I have had memberships at this Sunset Hills location in the past, canceling and reinstating them with zero issues. However, the current customer service is completely unprofessional. There was a billing issue this month, and I never even used the facility. I kindly emailed to cancel and ask for a refund, but the employee, Delia, was consistently defensive and argumentative over an ongoing chain of emails. Instead of helping a returning customer, she chose to be combative. Due to her terrible attitude and how poorly this was handled, I will never be back to this location.

5 star, 5 star, 5 star. I would leave 100 stars if I could. Specifically Dr. Kalm. Little bit of a back story. I have a double cervical fusion, c2 through c5. About 2 years ago, I made a mistake in the gym strength training, and I've been "off kilter" as I've been wording it. Daily pressure in the throat, weird swallowing, etc. It's been driving me absolutely crazy. 2 years! I started going to the chiro since earlier this year, and don't get me wrong, it's been wonderful! But the relief that I was getting was temporary, meaning relief for a few days to up to a week, but the swallowing issue hasn't ever been fixed. Dr Kalm during our session yesterday finally got whatever I did wrong fixed yesterday, and I IMMEDIATELY could tell he did something different that I've needed done for almost 2 years now! I can genuinely say that my life is changed from this. It's been a constant nuisance, this small problem that has driven me almost mad as a high level thinker every day for the past 9 months as it was. The past 9 months have been the most frustrating with whatever was wrong. And Dr. Kalm pulled it out of me yesterday, and I really don't have words to express the gratitude! Beyond just Dr. Kalm's miracle adjustment, he is one of the most friendly and helpful doctors across the network of The Joint. I'm so thankful to the highest level for his friendliess, as well as his strategies that fixed whatever has been bugging me for so long. I can swallow normal, no pressure, and I woke up today in a good mood with the expectation that I wont be tired at the end of the day from dealing with this consistent issue. Thank you a million times over to The Joint for giving me relief, and a double thank you to Dr. Kalm for fixing yesterday what I thought I was going to be stuck with the rest of my life!

Today I decided to get adjusted on my lunch hour. This was my first and last visit to that location! I have never been adjusted so aggressively. That man pulled my feet so hard I thought he was trying to yank me off the table…I wasn’t even made aware. He didn’t say more than 10 words to me outside of move here or move there. I’m used to the chiropractors talking to me and telling me what’s going on. The more he adjusted me, I started feeling like I was disgusting him, when he was done, he immediately tore the paper off the table, threw it in the trash, and walked away..he was so arrogant…and I left feeling worse than I walked in. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the receptionist was very nice and welcoming.

I am never one to write reviews but this situation doesn't sit right with me. I noticed a charge on my account for $79 from this location. I called to see what it was for and the front desk lady ,Kelly, told me it was a monthly charge for the wellness plan I signed up for back in November. I told her I didn't sign up for any plan and was confused I haven't had any communication about it. No emails nor phone calls... if you sign up to receive 4 visits a month and the patient hasn't been in once since they signed up I would think you would reach out and see why they haven't been in to use any if younare truly a wellness company not just out for money. Kelly was extremely rude and told me she had 700 patients and it was my responsibility to know what I was signed up for and then hung up on me. I went into the location the next day and asked to see the documents where I signed up for this plan and there weren't any! The front desk lady said she would email the owner because only he could authorize a full refund. I asked to be included on this email. That did not happen, so Monday I get a hold of the owner myself and explain the situation. He says he will look into it and give me a call Wednesday. I didn't receive any communication from him, so Friday I called at the end of the day and got their voicemail. No one called me back so I call with a private number and a lady answers and tells me she will let the owner know I continue to call. Again, no one calls me back. I do recieve an email with a refund receipt, but zero communication apologizing for charging my credit card every month without authorization, lack of communication, and the unprofessionallism of being hung up on by their employee while I was explaining that I never signing up for their wellness plan. The whole situation was handled poorly. I understand mistakes are made, but with the ignorance I received when this whole thing was their fault, it feels like a scam. Someone signed me up without my permission and charged my card. I would still be getting charged if I hadn't noticed.

Dr. Lance is amazing. I don’t say that lightly. I am very sensitive to misalignments and good chiropractic care is essential to me. I have received chiropractic care regularly for most of my life. I have found no other chiropractor that gets me aligned correctly EVERY SINGLE TIME. The convenience of being able to pop in and out of The Joint to see Dr. Lance is a game changer for my stacked schedule. I have back pain from a car accident many years ago and working 30 years on my feet in the restaurant industry. I try to see Dr. Lance every week or two, and have been coming here for 10 years. I have been going to The Joint in Sunset Hills for several years now because I just love the staff and the treatment I receive there! First of all, Kelly, the receptionist, is just the "backbone" of the place -- no pun intended, but kind of -- and they are so lucky to have her! She knows the patients and always finds a way to personalize each encounter, not just ask for your name and phone number, then credit card at the end. She really loves her job and it shows! The docs are all fabulous -- there's not enough space here to list them separately, but they too put their all into each visit. They know and remember their patients, even if you haven't seen them for awhile. They always give you a great adjustment (if that's what you need), really work you over (if that's what you need to loosen those muscles up), know how to gently get right to the exact spot and root of the problem even if you can't verbalize it. Dr. Lance, tried and true, and Dr. Kaitlyn -- a true ROCKSTAR for helping you walk out feeling like you're completely untangled and can breathe again -- along with Dr. Gott, a tireless professional! His wit is on fire and keeps you distracted so he can work his magic. And thank you to Dr. Matt Wise, for making all of this and more possible. Have been paying for a membership that I don't use for the past couple of months. Called to cancel the membership, which you can't do online and you must do with the specific office where you opened, and was told that I have to physically come in to sign a form to cancel. I requested that the email me the form so I can sign and send back, and they will not. I'm not sure it's even legal to continue charging somebody automatically when they have verbally revoked authorization to do so, but the lack of customer service for someone who's been a pretty loyal customer gets one star.

The "instantaneous" objective is accomplished with Lance in Sunset Hills, MO. He definitely makes me feel better when (but, only when) I'm having problems... The session's are incredibly NOT thorough... I come out feeling better, BUT I have no idea how to keep the pain away. Personally, I prefer preventative work over reparative work. My personal rating would be 1, maybe 2 stars, because I come out with the same knowledge as when I entered, but I feel a bit better. But, some people may appreciate a quick "in-and-out" session and give 5 stars. Therefore, assuming there is a 50/50 split between my side and the other, 3 stars seems appropriate.

This place is wonderful…From the receptionist who is super friendly and helpful to all the different doctors who all do great work!! I was especially impressed with how comfortable and informed they made my daughters first adjustment. She was very nervous. I have been to several Joint locations but this one has always been the best by far. I recently had extreme back pain and needed some kind of relief. I was distraught until I met Kelly at the front desk who listened to what was going on and made sure the doctor knew what my situation was. She took excellent care of me up front, while Dr. Josh was the perfect chiropractor to see as he helped alleviate the extreme pain. Both the customer service as well as the chiropractic service was top notch and I am grateful for both of them, they have an upbeat and fun personality that helped my mental state as well. I woke up the other week with my neck so stiff I couldn’t turn it more than a few inches in any direction. I found The Joint after calling nine chiropractors in my insurance network. All were closed for the holidays for a couple weeks, but I needed to be seen that day. So I called The Joint and Kelly was sooooo sweet and insisted I come over right away. I saw Dr. Emad (sp?) and he helped so much I signed up for the monthly membership! With the membership, this costs much less per visit than the chiropractor I used to see that was in my insurance network. Plus, no appointment needed, I just show up anytime! I’ve gone twice a week since I found them and I’ve never waited to be seen. Dr. Lance and Dr. Holden were also great! They’re always friendly, remember my and my baby’s name (who always comes with me), and I’m in and out in no time. Super convenient, great value, crazy friendly!

I signed up 6 weeks ago with the most severe pain and having a CAT Scan and MRI, I discovered Dr. Noah after seeing 7 other doctors. I now have been following him through the many offices The Joint offers. Unfortunately I live out of state and will miss his professional treatments. Kelly, the receptionist at Sunset Hills is the most pleasant I have experienced in a long time. I would recommend any friend or family to see the difference for yourself.

Over the years I've used several different chiropractors. Dr Lance and his excellent staff are by far my favorite. He has seen me when me elbow is out, and multiple times when I managed to throw my back out. They have always been helpful, friendly, and liberal with the free ice packs. 5/5 stars. 1) I had very bad experience with worst receptionist lady i have ever seen. I had a fall in my apartment Easter weekend and visited your Sunset Hills location the following Sunday. Dr. McCain, literally changed my life!! Evidently, I suffered a concussion. Not only did she adjust 7 vertebrae shifted due to my fall, but realigned a rib and began treatment on my TMJ. I didn't realize how badly I felt until her treatment began to work, BUT the release of endorphins and hormones kicked in immediately and I felt the dark cloud of depression I'd been suffering for months lift and disappear! I appreciated how Dr. Logan explained my problem areas using the spine model and anatomical/physiological terms as I’m in the medical field and recall a lot of medical terminology from my schooling. I’ve been coming to this location now for several years and have always had great experiences. I’m very disappointed that the chiropractors are not wearing masks while performing adjustments. I was screened at the desk and my temperature was taken. The chiropractor did don a mask after I requested it. I wore a mask and used sanitizer to protect them and would like to see The Joint doing their part to protect me.

With the current Covid-19 issue I would have expected the doctor to be wearing a face mask. The receptionist was wearing a face mask. I did see him use some hand sanitizer. Also - maybe he did this before I went into the room - I saw nothing being wiped down or sprayed. He simply pulled fresh paper onto the face rest and had me lay down. Though he did a great job on my back. If I get sick, it will be from this interaction.

While they advertise that they are open until 7 and they take walk ins, those both appear to be bold faced lies. Absolutely terrible experience. They were very rude, unhelpful, unwelcoming, and uncaring. They refused to see me over an hour before closing and with only one person waiting ahead of me. The reasoning was that I got there “too late” at 5:48 and if I had gotten there by 5:45 they would have seen me...even though I had my paperwork filled out before I arrived and they close at 7. The receptionist was baffled that I work until 5:30 and cannot get there any earlier. When I said I can’t just leave work earlier than I’m scheduled to leave, I was told to go on the weekend, even though I said I had been experiencing pain for a week already and it was 4 more days until the weekend. She said she could try to get me in tomorrow if I could absolutely guarantee I would get there before 5:45, but if I was late at all she would turn me away yet again. As I left in tears of frustration and pain, she told me I could try the Des Peres location “but they DEFINITELY won’t see you today or tomorrow, even if you CAN get there on time.” I have been in intense pain and went to both the Sunset Hills and Creve Couer locations of this business on multiple days and was turned away each time simply because they didn’t want the hassle of filing my paperwork the last hour and a half before closing, so I will not try again and instead go to a chiropractor that actually wants to help patients.

A very friendly staff and group of doctors. The evening and weekend hours are particularly helpful, and the visits are short and sweet. I've just signed up for the wellness membership and it is cheaper than even using my insurance at other locations. This added to the convenience is a big plus. Parking is mostly easy and the inside is clean and modernly organized. It is an open exam setting with several beds so it isn't exactly the same privacy at a traditional doctor's office, but this helps to add to the in and out philosophy. On a Sunday there were consistently two or three people in the waiting room, spending no more than 5 minutes before they were seen. In all, I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out through the first couple months of the membership.

I was very hesitant to try a new chiropractor as the last one hurt my lower back. So, I decided to try The Joint. From the time I walked in and Maureen was so welcoming, I knew I had found my place. Dr. Beau is a miracle worker. He actually LISTENED to me and after going a few times, I feel AMAZING. The packages they offer are so affordable and not to mention that it smells like a spa in there!! Tried getting adjusted for the first time last year. I've had lower back problems since I was a teenager. Now in my thirties and knew i had to do something about it. I can honestly say the doctors here actually listen to you and help you regain your mobility. They dont just crack your back and send you on your way. They have an amazing priced package for $69/month for 4 adjustments. The doctors are very kind and knowledgeable. I always feel soooo much better after my adjustments! So grateful for The Joint.

Have been a patient for a few months, and I finally got in rhythm with a doctor that I felt worked great for my needs. Dr Jessi was the absolute BEST for my allergy needs, then all of the doctors had to swap locations and days. It will be difficult to try to get to the other locations on the days she is there, and she is by far the best for treating sinus and allergy issues. Such a shame they had to switch things up.

So far so good... Update: So my termination date was the 19th. Please note: Make sure you take your last visit THE DAY BEFORE your termination date and NOT on the termination date. They will not honor your visit on your termination date. You lose it. Too bad, so sad. I thought the chiropractor would go ahead and see me since she was right there listening to me as I was explaining my position to the receptionist. She did not say a word. So if you sign up for visits, remember, your last visit is the day before your cancelation date. If you arrive on the termination date, you will be turned away, unless you pay the walk in price.

Called to ask a question regarding payment via third party insurance. (Was in a car accident a week before) Receptionist shouted into the phone about not taking any type of insurance. I've gone to the joint before and never was treated this way by Scott. I don't know if this person is new, but she reflects poorly on the quality of work I used to know. Unfortunately, I would recommend accident victims to be going elsewhere for the foreseeable future.

I just made my first visit to The Joint in Sunset Hills. The chiropractic exam, consultation and adjustment was an outstanding experience. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I knew this was going to be completely different than any of my previous chiropractic experiences. The clinic felt more like a spa. It was modern and the staff was amazing. The whole process was convenient (no appointments are necessary) and hassle free. The doctor worked on my lower back pain that has been bothering me for years. I felt immediate relief after my first adjustment and look forward to my next visit.
