I went in for their advertised price of $29 and thought ok first time ever seeing a chiropractor and the price was a good one! However after the appointment was done which took all of 5 minutes they hit me up to sign up for 3 months and it would be $80 a month and I would get 4 visits a month but they neglected to tell me I had to cancel the service after the 3 months was up! The 4th month they charged me and I told the bank they weren’t supposed to so they credited my account and I contacted the chiropractor and they said would refund me and never did! They never gave me my money back and I have been ignored every time I contact them. That was in May and it’s now September and I still haven’t got my money back and they didn’t give any service for it. So beware they pull the bait and switch and blame the customers and then steal your money and ghost you after’ it’s sad when you rely on every penny to feed your kids and they have no heart! Greedy people!

The man Jerry smells like moldy wet laundry and moth balls every visit. They over charged me. They never gave me refer a friend credit. Then, they charged me an overage because I went 5 times in 2 months and they considered it one month (4 visits/m). I tried discussing and their customer service was rude and unprofessional. There are also long wait times often. I won't be back. Take your business elsewhere

I had been a loyal customer of The Joint Chiropractic for several months, close to a year, and overall I thought I had a good wellness plan going. On December 10th, I had reconstructive foot surgery and needed to pause my membership while I recovered. Before pausing my account, I specifically asked about the two visits I still had remaining. I was told by the front desk staff, and later confirmed by another employee at the Reno location, that because my membership was being paused for surgery, those two visits would still be available for me to use once I returned. I healed and received an email welcoming me back and stating that my wellness plan would restart on April 16th. Four days before that restart date, I went into the Carson City location expecting to use the two visits I had already paid for. Unfortunately, the new person at the front desk quickly told me that nothing carries over and refused to honor the visits I had been told multiple times would still be available. What disappointed me most was not just the policy confusion, but the complete lack of understanding or effort to make things right after recovering from surgery. I was never asking for free visits or special treatment. I simply expected the office to honor what I had been told when I paused my account for a legitimate medical reason. Because of this experience, I canceled my membership with The Joint Chiropractic. I hope management improves communication and consistency so other long-term customers are not put in the same situation.

Results are NOT typical and NOT guaranteed and I'm NEVER going again. I woke up with neck pain a couple days ago. My doctor gave me steroids, muscle relaxers, and 600mg ibuprofen. The pain was better but my range of motion was still bad. I went to the chiropractor wanting just a LITTLE more relief. A LITTLE more range of motion. We didn't finish my session, it hurt too much. I left in tears with an ice pack. I've been at urgent care trying to get a cortizone shot for the last 30 minutes. I'm in more pain now than I was before my session, and have less range of motion than I did. On the plus side, they (The Joint) gave me a courteousy ice pack on my way out the door and didn't charge me. Edit: 1 hour later and I still have pain pulsating in my neck that wasn't this pronounced originally and a headache that was gone when I went into The Joint. Edit #2: 2 hours since I left the chiropractor and I am currently sitting in the e.r. crying and waiting to be seen because all urgent care could do was xray me. Edit #3: After 4 hours at the ER, and two injections for pain and inflammation, I finally feel the exact way I did BEFORE I went to The Joint for help. Never. Again. I will NEVER go to a chiropractor EVER again EVER.

I was a little leary at first of being popped and cracked but they are very understanding and gentle and they are definitely there to ease your pain and your mind. I had been in severe pain for 4 Days, I had driven for 7 hours then lifted a heavy bag, my back went into a spasm with sharp back and stomach pain. I couldn't walk, sit sleep or bend. MONDAY i was able to see Dr Kellogg. He spent several minutes assessing my lower backpain . He treated me from head to toe. This was at 10 am it's now 12 hours later after a slight tender day I feel able to move, sit and walk with no pain. Dr Kellogg knows what he is doing. Thank you for taking good care of me. The chiropractor listened to my concerns and was very responsive to the treatment I needed. My only concern was when you check-in for your initial appointment, they ask you if you are Medicare eligible. Then they give you the forms to fill out for your medical history. In that group of forms, if you check the block that says submit to Medicare and agree pay the difference, you are then told they can't treat you. So why bring the question up? Just tell their patients they don't bill Medicare and you'll need to pay for the visit. Re: 4 not 5 stars.

I am so disappointed that I went here to get adjusted. I was seen on Friday 5/23/25 and today is 5/27/25 and I can barely stand or walk due to the excruciating sciatic pain that I did not have prior to being seen. I am in so much pain that I am not able to sleep at night. I called the next day to let them know how much pain I was in, and the receptionist said I should come back in to be seen and that I would have to pay to be adjusted again. She also told me it is normal to be in pain, but the amount of severe pain I am in does not seem reasonable. I should have left when sitting in the waiting room and a lady come in for Dr Edwards and she turned around and left once she saw he was on vacation. I don't think an initial assessment should have lasted longer than 5 minutes and to be that aggressive seemed uncalled for since it was my first time being seen.

From my first appointment, the doctor impressed me with his excellent bedside manner and took the time to explain everything he was going to do before any treatment. He really made sure I felt comfortable with the treatment plan, which was important to me. I had been suffering from a horrible burning sensation under my right shoulder blade that had started spreading to my armpit and neck. The recommended treatment plan of two visits per week for the first eight weeks was very reasonable. Today, I had my second visit, and while I saw a different chiropractor, he was equally fantastic! During my first visit, they adjusted my spine and neck, and in my second visit, not only did he adjust those areas again, but he also worked on my shoulders and arms. I went home, followed the suggestion to ice for twenty minutes, and now I can say that I have almost zero pain and no burning sensation at all! I completely recommend giving The Joint a try—it's made a world of difference for me!

A rip off business. You already have that reputation amongst your peers. You have chiropractors who look good on paper and that’s it! Why would 50-60 year old chiros work at a bone cracking meat market, because they couldn’t make a check on their own or in a reputable practice. . That’s exactly how you are looked upon. Subject: Request for Refund and Contract Cancellation – The Joint Chiropractic, Carson City To whom it may concern, I am writing to formally request the cancellation of my contract and a full refund of the $160.00 I paid to The Joint Chiropractic in Carson City, Nevada. My initial complaint did not fully capture the extent of my experience. I began care at your clinic after my long-time chiropractor retired. I explained my treatment history and what had worked for me in the past. While I initially met some resistance, Dr. Edwards eventually assured me that I could switch to a different doctor. Unfortunately, my first visit only resulted in a sales pitch and no relief. After walking just one block post-treatment, I felt the same pain I came in with. A second visit also failed to help. I contacted my retired chiropractor, who provided the specific treatment method that had consistently worked. When I shared this with Dr. Edwards, he reluctantly agreed to try it—this adjustment finally brought relief. However, future visits reverted to ineffective methods, and I again left in pain. On my last visit, I attempted to show Dr. Kellogg the effective treatment notes. Dr. Kellogg refused to even look at them, despite having previously told me to bring them. He became argumentative and even raised his voice, while others looked on without stepping in. As a disabled senior, I sought continuity of care. Instead, I was repeatedly dismissed and left worse off after each visit. I respectfully request a full refund and prompt cancellation of my contract. Went in for my first time with A dislocated rib by my left shoulder blade. Very disappointed. Staff was very friendly!! The doctors did not spend much time asking what was going on with my pain or explaining what they were doing. They seemed very rushed all the time, even if I was the only one in the building. As I was waiting it looked to me like they were doing the same adjustments on every single person who came in. My hip/sciatica got way worse, not just sore muscles. I went to my regular Dr. and she told me to stop going. I informed the Joint and they said there is no way to refund the 3 months I paid for even though they were injuring me more.

We also discussed how Red Wing Shoes has a cool machine that measures your feet and your arches so that you can get insoles that will help to align you knees, back and hips as well as make your feet less tired. Cass, Dr. Edwards, and Dr. Kellogg have all been fantastic. They always greet you with a smile when you walk into the clinic. Both doctors are skilled, professional, and extremely personable. I’ve been going to this location for almost a year now and I’ve been to just about every location in Reno & Sparks. This one in Carson is the best one because of these three people. I used to have bad sciatica issues especially after a heavy day of lifting in the gym but after getting consistent chiropractic care, they are rare to occur. If you need a quick and flexible chiropractor, this is the place to go!

I was excited when I first came and had my initial few adjustments. One of the doctors who is no longer here was amazing and got some of my years-long pain to subside immensely. With the other Dr. it usually hurts when he adjusts me, but I come in when I'm dying and need an adjustment. E is noce but he is a lot rougher with his adjustments. It's been very difficult finding time to come within their hours, and I usually have to come on my lunch break, but sometimes the wait is an hour or more with 2 doctors, and now with just one its even longer because they still do the initial first visit appts that take longer while everyone else waits. The receptionist is super nice and I had to go from the $80/month contract to $20/month plus $20/visit because in the 3 months I've been signed up I've only been able to come 5 times due to hours and wait times. A new doctor is starting later this week so hopefully that will help and hopefully he can adjust me like the other one did.

I know they have different location but Carson City's Joint is awesome. They've been working on my shoulder and have seen great improvement in that as well as overall back stiffness. Sometimes you don’t know when you need an adjustment. You wake up in the morning, your hips and back ache and you really want to get into see your chiropractor, but you have to wait sometimes a week or more. What we love about going to The Joint, is that you don’t really have to wait. I think the longest we have waited is 15 minutes. I’ve never felt rushed either you truly get your some needed. And I love the membership plans Not all providers do things the same so if you like a certain person you can always wait to be seen by them too.

I like the fact that they don't pressure you to continuously come in for adjustments. I came in for a few visits and got handled what needed to be done. There is no need to become dependent on adjustments. Sometimes we just tweak things.

I will try to make it short. Dr. Jerry Edwards is a fake, a perverbial quack. I went in one time for some relief from shoulder tingling and left with a serious ribcage injury. When the good doctor decided to push down hard on my upper spine, it truly terrified me. I had never felt an adjustment like that in all the years I had undergone chiropractic care. I felt immediate pain in my ribs. He asked me if I was alright. Why shouldn't I be? Because he doesn't know what he is doing. He's all about the money, I promise you that. It has been five days now and my right side hurts so bad. I have no insurance to go to a regular doctor. The pain knocked me to the ground not 45 minutes after the "spinal alignment" was performed. I called their office, crying and sobbing in pain and I was told there was nothing they could do. Dr. Edwards told me to keep a pillow close by for the pain associated with coughing, sneezing and laughing from rib injuries. He also said it may take weeks to heal, "sorry." I've continued to call his office for help with the pain, but only receive the machine. I left numerous messages that I have had to cancel my swim classes, and other scheduled appointments because of the level of pain I am experiencing. He wants nothing to do with any of it. He doesn't care to what extent he has injured me. He doesn't care about the level of pain I am in or that I can't sleep or even take a full breath. He doesn't want to hear it. But he is solely responsible for the horrific amount of pain I am in. He did this! No one else did this to me; Dr. Jerry Edwards did this! The ONLY time an adjustment causes lingering pain is WHEN IT IS DONE INCORRECTLY!! That is the only time! He mentioned the pillow for pain like he was reading the paper; no emotion, no concern; just an everyday occurrence. I am an elderly woman. My bones are elderly; I can't afford to face this kind of pain for one day, let alone one week. It's getting far worse than it was the first night. I can't control my bladder when I try to stand from the pain. I can't get comfortable due to the pain. I have nothing to take for the pain and Dr. Edwards won't be bothered by it. All i can say in closing is the State Board has no record of his license, either under his name or that of the business. With the level of pain my rib area is causing, the enormous swelling just below my rt breast and the feeling of something sharp not allowing a full breath, I fear the injuries Dr. Edwards has caused me are severe and may require surgery to repair. Just trying to keep this guy from harming anyone else. Enter the facility at your own risk. It had been over six years since any adjustment and yet he bypassed the use of heat which is used by professional chiropractors, in order to loosen up the tightness in the ligaments and muscles, so an adjustment goes well. Dr. Edwards used no heat; there was no preparation made to prepare my body for adjustments. It was like a dry pan expecting something to cook properly without any oil or butter, but instead it sticks to the pan where you then have to force it out of the pan. That's what those adjustments felt like. And guess what, no one at The Joint Chiropractic cares about you; only your money, how fast they can get people in and out and keep up their expensive lifestyle, while I am laying here in some of the absolute worst pain i have ever felt in my life. UPDATE: My ribs are fractured. It could take months or even years for the pain to dissipate. Now I am experiencing rt side neck pain that worsens when I breathe. I am fearful he has done something to my neck as the pain came on suddenly and is in one spot. Pray for me. "Sorry, there's nothing we can do about the pain we caused you." That's all they have to say.

I had the arch of my foot “fall” (fail) and they got me back to normal quickly! As well as gave me some great stretches and exercises to help strengthen it!

Never got to be seen. They advertise walk ins no appointments necessary, cool till you walk in hunched in in pain and they tell you they are booked with appointments all night. And you need to make an appointment, that can be done online. There is nowhere to make an appointment online. Would have loved to try your service but your receptionist and her poor customer service and false advertising ruined that

My First impressions were friendly, great service and fast. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile and we will be right with you perky enthusiasm. This was not expected as most offices are cold when arriving. The Doctor was very informative helpful and understanding of my needs, he was gentle and took his time adjusting me, he made sure to answer all my questions and concerns. He had a great bedside manner. I definitely will tell anyone that needs chiropractic service to go to The Joint, they are wonderful!!
