Dr. Ron Russeau gained interest in chiropractic early on in life. He had a nearby relative who worked for a chiropractor and as he grew a little older, he knew that he wanted to become a chiropractor one day. Dr. Russeau was born and raised in Monroe, Michigan. He was actively involved in many sports while he was in high school, such as football, wrestling and boxing. Participating in sports contributed to his strong work ethic and appreciation of others.
In May of 2002, Dr. Russeau started his journey into the professional chiropractic world. At the age of 21, he relocated to Greenville, South Carolina where he began his pre-chiropractic studies at both Greenville Technical College and The University of South Carolina. Once he completed his undergraduate studies, he was accepted into Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he obtained a better understanding of what chiropractic truly is. The ability that chiropractors have to heal people and its natural approach to health care, without prescribing drugs, were some of the major reasons that Dr. Russeau decided to become a chiropractor. It was then that he realized that chiropractic was his calling.
At Sherman College, Dr. Russeau was actively involved in The Diversified and Thompson Technique Clubs. He graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic March of 2009.
Dr. Ron Russeau has gained a lot of experience practicing his first 5 years in Arizona, including 1 year in a PI clinic (Physical Injury), and the last 4 years in Michigan. Dr. Russeau has a strong background in family chiropractic, where he spent most of his years practicing in that type of setting. He's a strong believer in practicing what he preaches to his patients. Health, proper nutrition and exercise are among his daily activities.
Dr. George Chen grew up in Beijing China. When he was in college, a traditional self-healing exercise called “Qigong” started gaining popularity in China. In his college years, he studied and practiced this exercise as well as Chinese meridians. These interests led him to choose chiropractic as his career later in the USA.
Dr. Chen received his bachelor’s degree in law from Peking University in China and his master’s degree in Intellectual Property in 1991 from Franklin Pierce Law Center in New Hampshire. After graduation, his wife suffered severe sciatica. Surgery was recommended for her by an orthopedic doctor, however, she was concerned with the side effects of surgery and found an alternative treatment by a chiropractor. The results of the chiropractic treatments were remarkable and she was pain free after several treatments and avoided surgery. This event, in addition to his interests in “Qigong,” made Dr. Chen change his career path to study chiropractic and become a Doctor of Chiropractic.
After graduation from New York Chiropractic College in 1997, Dr. Chen started his chiropractic practice in Westchester, NY. When treating patients, he has always combined chiropractic techniques with traditional Chinese Qigong/meridians to achieve optimum results. Dr. Chen’s techniques include: Diversified, some A.K. Activator, and SOT with meridians acupressure treatment. He also teaches therapeutic exercises for disc herniation and Qigong exercise for energy self-healing.
Dr. Chen joined The Joint Chiropractic in the November 2016 after his family moved from New York to Las Vegas. Dr. Chen strongly believes that as a doctor, caring and compassion are equally important as treatment skills. He also believes that chiropractors not only treat symptoms, but also restore neuromuscular and skeletal functions to prevent symptoms from reoccurring.
Dr. Joe Nalbone is originally from southwestern New York where he obtained his undergraduate degree in biology and archaeology at Syracuse University before attending Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. Prior to joining The Joint in Las Vegas, he has had offices in Colorado, California, and Idaho.
With a fascination on fixing things, he's found that healing the body naturally with chiropractic care is one of the greatest things on earth. He enjoys offering full body adjustments, from head to toe, and giving it his all with each and every patient. His focus is on preventative and wellness care, and believes that routine chiropractic care creates better health, longevity, happiness, and overall well-being.
In addition to chiropractic care, he has an extensive background in anti-aging and bioidentical hormone replacement therapies, research in supplements and nutraceuticals, and training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
When he's not helping others with chiropractic care, he can usually be found in his garage rebuilding motorcycles or playing one of his guitars. He also enjoys hiking around Red Rock Canyon, playing baseball, exercising, and writing short stories and screenplays.
