Dr. Ron Russeau gained interest in chiropractic early on in life. He had a nearby relative who worked for a chiropractor and as he grew a little older, he knew that he wanted to become a chiropractor one day. Dr. Russeau was born and raised in Monroe, Michigan. He was actively involved in many sports while he was in high school, such as football, wrestling and boxing. Participating in sports contributed to his strong work ethic and appreciation of others.
In May of 2002, Dr. Russeau started his journey into the professional chiropractic world. At the age of 21, he relocated to Greenville, South Carolina where he began his pre-chiropractic studies at both Greenville Technical College and The University of South Carolina. Once he completed his undergraduate studies, he was accepted into Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he obtained a better understanding of what chiropractic truly is. The ability that chiropractors have to heal people and its natural approach to health care, without prescribing drugs, were some of the major reasons that Dr. Russeau decided to become a chiropractor. It was then that he realized that chiropractic was his calling.
At Sherman College, Dr. Russeau was actively involved in The Diversified and Thompson Technique Clubs. He graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic March of 2009.
Dr. Ron Russeau has gained a lot of experience practicing his first 5 years in Arizona, including 1 year in a PI clinic (Physical Injury), and the last 4 years in Michigan. Dr. Russeau has a strong background in family chiropractic, where he spent most of his years practicing in that type of setting. He's a strong believer in practicing what he preaches to his patients. Health, proper nutrition and exercise are among his daily activities.
I would first like to thank you for taking the time to learn more about who I am. My name is Dr. Joe Nalbone, D.C. but I usually go by "Dr. Joe" in the office. To me, names and titles really do not matter, rather, the focus is on restoring your health and getting you better because I want you to be happy and to be able to enjoy life to your greatest potential.
My first experiences with chiropractic had been in the form of me tagging along with my father and grandfather when I was kid. In the few encounters I had, it was fascinating to watch Dr. Fred Elf perform the art of chiropractic on my family. My grandfather had experienced a stroke years prior and experienced relief upon receiving chiropractic adjustments which was absolutely wonderful. In hindsight, perhaps that was the seed that was planted during my formative years to becoming a chiropractor myself.
Being undecided as to what career path to take upon earning my Bachelor of Science at Syracuse University, I entered the field of computer programming as I searched for my next calling. While spending hours at a time glued to my computer desk, I began to experience back pain, generalized fatigue, and occasional exacerbations/flare-ups of old sports injuries. As a result of the unpleasurable physical ailments I was experiencing at such a young age, my girlfriend at the time suggested I see a chiropractor being that her mother was one herself. As a result, I began to see Dr. Jessie Smith for relief and am so thankful for his services and guidance over the years.
Upon experiencing relief and wonderful benefits from the chiropractic care that I was receiving, I decided that offering chiropractic care was one of the callings I was meant to do in life. I discovered that for me there really is no greater enjoyment in life than that of the opportunity to give back, to restore, to enhance, and to improve the quality of a person's life. When I came upon these revelations, I promptly applied for and was accepted into Western States Chiropractic College, now known as the University of Western States, where I attained my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2003.
Since that time, I have helped thousands of people restore their health through natural chiropractic care and I maintain the belief system that anything, absolutely anything, is possible. While I have trained in a variety of chiropractic adjustment methods and philosophies, my focus lands within Palmer/diversified, adjusting tool (Activator/Arthrostim), and some Gonstead technique.
When I'm not helping people, I enjoy playing guitar, bass, and piano with friends, rebuilding and riding motorcycles, hiking in Calico Basin off the beaten trail, visiting my family in New York and Florida, inventing things on my 3D printer, computer programming, taking road trips into the desert, and exploring national parks. Las Vegas has been my home for nearly two decades and I am amazed and excited to see all the growth and potential that this great city has experienced and has to offer.
I look forward to getting to know you as we work together on getting you back on track to better health - so onward and upward we go!”
With blessings and gratitude, Dr. Joe
