Dr. Ortiz has been amazing. He's significantly reduced the severe sciatic/nerve pain I have in multiple locations which stem from herniated discs in my lower back. I didn't have a ton of faith in improving my situation through chiropractic care but I was willing to try anything. To my surprise, I felt better after my first appointment than I did after 6 weeks of physical therapy. I was sold. I've been a member for a few months now having weekly adjustments and couldn't be happier with this location. The few staff I've met have also been super friendly and helpful. My VERY FIRST chiropractor appointment is this Friday, to say the least I am EXTREMELY nervous. I am 5 months pregnant and am experiencing severe back pain from a previous injury years ago. I should have read reviews first. Someone nailed it - if you just need a run of the mill adjustment then this place is probably great. If you have ongoing issues, this is not the place for you. The guy that adjusted me pulled on my neck so hard that I slid all the way up the table. I am a tiny woman, that much force was not necessary. I got about half the adjustments my usual guy makes and he sent me on my way. I was also in a room with 2 other tables and people on them. I can't say I enjoyed that either. I would like privacy while getting adjusted. I am sure there is a market for this cattle-style of chiropractic care but it certainly isn't for me. You get what you pay for...

I don't like the manual process of adjusting using the chair you lay on. It doesn't feel like I'm being adjusted at all and it's uncomfortable as a female with breast to have the chair pop up into my chest like that. The adjuster was very nice, the front desk was very nice.

My wife made an appointment for a anniversary surprise for me We sat in the front for about eight minutes without anyone welcoming us My wife then got an employees attention and let them know no one was in the front, but we had an appointment for noon. The employee quite rude and dismissively says not here you don’t and continues they’re under staff and we must have an appointment at the South Meadows location My wife then confirms that our appointment was in fact for this location and instead of giving her an apology that she deserved He still dismisses her and tells her that they should’ve canceled our appointment because they’re understaffed I understand being understaffed but The fact remains that our appointment was not canceled, and this was for a special occasion and he showed no common decency, If it was legal, I would’ve punched the man in the face repetitively until he was unconscious for disrespecting my wife. Sadly police frown on such brute force unless they are the ones using it.

The chiropractor and receptionist were super nice. My problem is with the corporation in general. It’s been less than a year since I have gotten adjusted, and when I came on my lunch break, I was informed that I had to do another intake and exam. As though I’ve never been in before. Nothing in my body has changed, I understand these precautions but I wasn’t sent a text or email to be informed of this before I wasted an entire lunch break. If I have to do a brand new intake, I’ll take my business elsewhere. I know that not coming in on a weekly or monthly basis doesn’t fit The Joint’s agenda, but there are people out there who don’t need consistent chiropractic care.

I love this style of chiropractic office! The location in Reno off McCarran is my favorite, because the Dr. is fantastic at this location, and it's far less busy than the one in Sparks (not that Sparks is bad, just way busier). I have gone to chiropractors for years, and with insurance it was $50 for those places per visit, but at The Joint Chiropractic, it's far cheaper for me to go regularly. Plus, I can 'pop' in and out and be done, instead of overly-long appointments at a standard chiropractic office. I have had my membership for several years now, and have been to several locations. Sometimes I may show up once that month, and other times I may come every week. It's so convenient! I love that if I am having a day where something hurts, it's as simple as walking in to get the same day treatment. I like that they always ask what is bothering me that day so they can be sure to address it. I like that they keep records of the visits that they review to be sure no older issues are still bothering me, and I love that they find other areas that need adjustment. It just feels so great afterwards!

The very first time I went to a Joint Chiropractor was Dr. Roger Robinson in South Reno. I was having issues with my neck and lower back/hips. I couldn’t turn my head to the left at all and I was limping slightly because it felt like my right leg was about an inch shorter than my left. He took the time that was needed with me, listening to what my ailments were. He reassured me that I would soon be in much less pain and I was pain free after about the forth visit, with full mobility. Dr. Robinson is very kind and gentle, he obviously cares about his patients, you can tell. I enjoy visiting him in this location. I have stuck with it, I go once a week sometimes more if needed. Now I can tell when something doesn’t feel right instead of dealing with the pain I go in and get it taken care of. The once a week maintenance is a necessity. The ability to just walk-in is exceptional, and I appreciate the flexibility as well as multiple location options and hours of operation.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Robinson for about 2 years now - wish we had known him sooner! *I used to see a different chiropractor in town and would always feel sore for 2-3 days after each adjustment.* But not with Dr. Robinson! I have a constant pain issue with my neck and back due to childbirth, plus working from home infront of a computer 8-10 hours a day made it worse. Dr. Robinson takes time with his patients, asks what our issues/concerns are each visit, and we never felt rushed. I’ve been coming to The Joint for about two years. I’ve been to several locations in northern Nevada. In my opinion the best doctors in their system is Dr. Wyatt, Dr. Peacock, and Dr. Robinson. Dr. Robinson is very attentive and personable, yet expeditious. Some of the other doctors have made me feel like I just went through a TSA checkpoint, but these three set the standard for me. I highly recommend them.

Since 2015, I have been weekly receiving adjustments from Dr. Robinson. He deeply cares about his tribe. Without him, I literally would not be walking without some sort of assistance. This place is awesome! Mac at the front desk was super helpful and she zipped me thru the process and answered my questions, super friendly! Straight thru to Dr Casey, he was incredible. First time ever going to see a chiropractor, and he made it simple and easy on me. He also explained everything in an easy to understand way, then went to town cracking and aligning. The doctors and staff at The Joint on South McCarran are fantastic! My family and I really like Dr. Robinson and Dr. Rushing. Both are excellent doctors and have taken the time to get to know us. Original comment: This place sucks. No personal attention, rush in and out, and they steal your money. I cancelled over 6 months ago and guess what, still being charged. I have now had to make several calls, and had to stop back in just to get my own money back. They didn't even offer an apology. Would love the owner to call and explain why I was getting charged. I went in to try out the initial 29 dollar adjustment. I felt that instead of trying to adjust me, they were mostly interested in getting me to sign up for another promotion. The adjustment was rushed and I felt like it would had been the same had I asked my spouse to pop my back. Although I was interested in signing up for the monthly plan I was unhappy that I was rushed through so I decided not to proceed.

Do not come here if you are looking for immediate relief. They are more interested in signing you up for their 2 month program that is a combined total of $170, which is their cheapest option with a total of 12 visits. I did not notice a difference in my first visit but each person has different medical issues. If you feel better after your first couple of sessions and want to cancel your membership, there are no refunds.

My first initial visit was fine. The chiropractor did some adjustments that helped to alleviate some pain I was experiencing at the time. EDIT(4/23/21) I originally gave this location four stars as you will see below. I withdraw those stars today. After repeated visits I have yet to have the doctors(?) spend more than 5 minutes actually treating me. In reality I spend more time paying the receptionist. The problems that I presented with on the first visit, persist, but I have found an actual chiropractor, who seems concerned with actually providing me with relief. Hopefully all will go well. ORIGINAL POST: I went to The Joint for the first time today and was seen by Dr Robinson. The location is clean and is staffed with very friendly people. Upon arriving I filled out the intake forms (about 10 minutes) and then turned them in. I settled myself on the couch with my phone for "the wait", to my surprise I was called back, less then 5 minutes later by the doctor himself. He asked me a variety of questions and then treated me, which thankfully, gave me some instant relieve. He then talked me thru a plan of action and gave me instructions on what to do at home. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because this was my first visit and I am waiting to see if I am treated just as well on my subsequent visits. In which case if I am I will upgrade them to 5 stars.

Dr. Robsinson was very nice and helpful he adjusted my neck and it relieved pain instantly. My headache attributed from pressure in my neck is starting to get better now. I was able to use the new client discount which was $39 adjustment and consultation. The only thing I wished he would have done, was spend more time actually adjusting me. Other than that, the receptionist was nice and helpful. They were all helpful and explained everything to me so it wasn’t so scary for my first time at the chiropractor. I appreciated how the doctor mentioned that one of the prescriptions I was taking could lead to nerve damage over time, so to do more research on what I was taking. They do try to get you to buy a membership, but for the price of $69 a month, that is a pretty good deal for 4 adjustments a month. To buy an extra adjustment besides the 4 allotted adjustments is only $10. So it cost me in total today $98. The $39 for a new patient, and $69 for the membership.

The initial price point was on target. I didn't appreciate the attempted upsale when I went to pay for the services I received. As for the services they weren't effective on me at all and the drop table is LAME!!

Had a great first experience, Dr Robinson actually was able to adjust my back on the first visit unlike a lot of other places I have been to in the past. I have a regular chiropractor and love his therapy; however, sometimes getting an appointment when in need is really hard so I am so glad that I found The Joint!! Both the Chiropractors here are very nice and the adjustments are on point. I am no longer in pain, I sleep better, I have my range of motion back, my flexibility has increased, and I feel I have a better quality of life due to this. Thank you!

Very nice people, but Owwwwwww!. I'm accustomed to being adjusted, but this is old fashioned, manual adjustment, grunt/shriek methodology. Very corporate, pushing the weekly / package approach. On the plus side, if you have a chiro emergency over a holiday, this is usually the only place open.

This was my first chiropractic experience. I must admit that I just didn't really believe that a chiropractor could fix the years and years of moderate pack pain that I have had by simply putting me into a few slightly uncomfortable positions and cracking my back. Yesterday I attended The Joint's grand opening and received a free adjustment from Dr. Delacruz. He was very friendly and made me feel like I was in good hands. He performed a 10 minute adjustment and I instantly felt less tightness and pain in my back and neck. By the time I got home I was pain free. I woke up this morning thinking that the pain would return (kinda like the day after getting a massage) but I am happy to report that I am still 100% pain free and my muscles feel so relaxed. I am honestly amazed at the results and can't believe I waited so many years to see a chiropractor. I will be going back to see Dr. Delacruz if/when the pain returns. I also want to mention that the concept of The Joint was to my liking. It is an in and out, no appointment required, no insurance chiropractic office. You go in, get a quick adjustment and then go on your way. I was probably in the building for 15 minutes total. As a mom of two young boys the faster I can get in and out of a personal appointment the better. This place works great for me and their prices are very reasonable. I am a very happy customer.
