I was born and raised in northern California. Chico, Ca. is my hometown where I have spent most of my time. I am the oldest of 5 children, I have 4 younger sisters. I Grew up being very physically active – participated in several sports year-round. I suffered with chronic headaches for years, as well as sports injuries. I’ve had a lifelong interest in healthcare, growing up I always wanted to understand how things work.

My own interest in Chiropractic began after I was adjusted the first time. I had been suffering with chronic headaches and multiple sports injuries. A good friend suggested Chiropractic care for the problems I was having, and it fixed everything. That was when my interest in Chiropractic began.

Graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2004. Over the years I have gained a diverse treatment background from working in several large practices. Recently awarded the “Readers’ Choice award for favorite Chiropractor: 2018 and 2019 Voted #2 (Chico Enterprise Record)”.

I’ve truly enjoyed helping so many patients over the last 15 years of practice. It is an exciting time, being new to Nevada and seeing how well Chiropractic is received by this amazing community.

Dr. Loren Couture believes chiropractic is designed to help people live the lives they love and deserve - pain free. She graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2023 after graduating from Gonzaga University with her degree in Kinesiology in 2019. Go zags!

Dr. Loren has a background in athletic training and personal training. She wanted to become a chiropractor to continue the health and wellness path and help people heal from injury naturally. She later learned about all the positive effects of chiropractic other than pain management such as anxiety relief, better sleep, regulated nervous systems and more. She loves to work with athletes, and people who suffer from migraine and hormone/ sleep issues. Her deep passion is to create a safe space for people to heal from “invisible illnesses” such as: headaches and migraines, deep anxiety, general aches, hormone dysregulation and sleepless nights.

Her favorite part of being a chiropractor is when patients tell stories about how they are now able to travel, hangout with friends, go back to work or play sports again after natural treatment. Everyone deserves to live a life they enjoy!

When she is not adjusting, you can find Dr. Loren hiking, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, skiing or spending time with family and friends!
