Meet The Doctors

Dr. Robert Lee, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Daniel Webster Shops

Dr. Lee earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Springfield College in Western MA and his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. While wrestling in college, Dr. Lee suffered a spinal injury and his exposure to the healing power of chiropractic began. Dr. Lee’s treatment philosophy is a simple one: an educated patient is an empowered patient. Dr. Lee works with each and every patient in order to educate you on your specific condition and how Chiropractic care works to heal. Each patient will be provided with the tools necessary to take control of your health and ensure that you can reach your full potential.

When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Lee enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, playing guitar, and cooking.

Dr. Kevin Sandberg, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Daniel Webster Shops

Dr. Sandberg has been a licensed chiropractor since 2000. Since graduating from New York Chiropractic College, he has practiced most of his career in NH. Dr. Sandberg is a seasoned chiropractor and has helped and adjusted hundreds of patients.  While chiropractic is well known for helping with a myriad of issues like low back pain, headaches, and neck pain, Dr. Sandberg also recognizes that maximizing your health is more than merely being free of pain.

While studying Human Biomechanics and Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Sandberg suffered from low back pain for over a year.  The pain affected even simple activities (for example: leaning over the sink to shave). He was referred to the Gonstead Clinic in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin where he received a series of chiropractic adjustments resulting in complete relief of pain.  This experience, his Biomechanics background, and a desire to help others as he’d been helped made becoming a chiropractor the obvious career choice.

While not helping patients, Dr. Sandberg enjoys spending time with his two young children, the outdoors, doing Crossfit, and playing guitar. He is currently working on becoming a better cook.

Dr. Barry St. Onge, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Daniel Webster Shops

Welcome Dr. Barry St. Onge to The Joint Clinic at Daniel Webster Shops. Dr. Barry treats primarily at the Nashua clinic but assists in the Salem clinic when the need arises.

Barry St. Onge Jr., DC uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. Dr. St. Onge Jr takes a "whole person" approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Dr. St. Onge Jr will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs. Under the supervision and care of our caring and skilled chiropractor, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.

Dr. Barry is a graduate of New York Chiropractic and has been practicing for years. He resides in Derry, NH.

Dr. John Haberstroh, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Daniel Webster Shops

Dr. John Haberstroh -- you can call him Dr. John -- joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2017 and has enjoyed his time at the Daniel Webster Shops clinic. You won’t find many chiropractors whose backgrounds are more wide-ranging; Dr. John is certified as a sports physician, accident reconstructionist, and forensic examiner -- among other things! He has various degrees in biology, neurology and forensics, as well as his doctorate in chiropractic. He also has no shortage of experience, having become licensed in 1983 from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.

“I love practicing in this field because I love helping to relieve people’s pain, getting these patients off drugs and keeping some of them out of surgery,” Dr. John says. “And I also love getting adjusted by my fellow chiropractors.”

Dr. John worked in Massachusetts and New Jersey before settling into Nashua, which is a bit of a reflection of his early life. “We lived all over the place,” he says. “My dad worked for IBM so we were always moving.”

But not moving so much that he couldn’t fall in love with the arts. He has a special appreciation for music, both writing and playing the bass guitar. He also enjoys reading, and writing books and articles. But not everything is so artsy or academic; he also likes swimming and scuba diving, working out, traveling and “playing with the kids.”

He and his realtor wife Kim have three adult children, including a daughter in law school, a son working in Los Angeles, and the youngest, living above him in his private practice building, who himself has two businesses.

Dr. John decided to become a chiropractor after seeing some remarkable results first-hand. “I fell ill with mononucleosis,” he explains. “My entire family had gone to a local chiropractor for their issues and the DC said he could help me, too. I didn’t believe it, but I went. Four treatments later, with blood tests to prove it, my mono was gone. I was so gob-smacked by this I decided right then and there to become a chiropractor.”

He really enjoys working at The Joint, too.

“Like all The Joint facilities,” Dr. John says, “it’s the remarkably nice and professional people I work with that makes it so fun.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

Everyday is picnic weather at Dr. John’s house, where watermelon is a staple that he must have in the fridge. “It’s the perfect food, with virtually everything your body needs other than protein -- and I just love the taste,” he says. “I am a watermelon-aholic.”

Given the opportunity, Dr. John would love to share some of that watermelon with two Beatles, a president, and Jesus’ closest lady friend.

“Due to my obsession with music and the Beatles, John Lennon and Paul McCartney would be great for chatting with,” Dr. John says. “John Tyler, our 10th and greatest president, would make for remarkable conversation about our young nascent country back in the 1840s and how he stood up to special interests, kept a tight money supply, and kept our country out of foreign entanglements.

“Mary Magdalene, perhaps the most misunderstood person in history as well as the most underrated individual ever, would make for a grand discussion of what actually happened back in the times of Christ, the Roman Empire, Emperor Tiberius, the miracles performed and what the disciples were really thinking and doing. I think all four of them would find each other fascinating. Barring the Aramaic Latin language barrier with Mary, this would be a great discussion on all the issues, including comparing the American Empire to the Roman. But we’d need an interpreter for Ms. Magdalene.”

It might be interesting to see if discussion ever turned to child-rearing; according to Dr. John, “Creating and raising my children is the coolest thing I’ve ever done.”

“They are so delicate when they are young and worship the ground you walk on,” he says. “They have no instincts other than love. We are all born with love and cultivating that, absorbing it, giving it back, make life worth living. All the ugliness the world has to offer must be learned; hate, jealousy, envy, etc. But it’s the love those children naturally have that is so magical, like being blessed by the light and the power of an angel.”
