Meet The Doctors

Dr. William Hamad, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Bethel Road

Dr. Bill joined The Joint Chiropractic team in October 2018 when he became the local chiropractor for Columbus, OH.

Dr Bill has been providing chiropractic care in Columbus since 2007. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer Collage of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.  He has also completed a fellowship in surgical neuromonitoring, and has monitored the nervous system for surgeons during hundreds of spinal surgeries.   He believes his time spent working in the O.R. makes him more knowledgeable when it comes to helping his patients.

Dr. Hamad has known for quite some time that chiropractic care was his calling. “I knew that I wanted to be a chiropractor since I was in high school. My father suffered from lower back problems and I can remember him bent over and grunting in pain when his back would “go out”. I was also very active in sports and as a result suffered a herniation at my L5 disc playing football when I was a junior. My mother took me in to her chiropractor and he fixed me up without drugs or surgery. I was able to return and play football again. I remember thinking at the time that he had the coolest job in the world. The rest is history.”

Dr. Hamad says the best thing about working in the chiropractic field is getting to help educate people about the importance of taking care of our bodies and share in the transition as they enjoy being more mobile and pain free. He loves working with people and seeing how much chiropractic care can change their lives for the better. Over the course of his professional career Dr. Hamad has learned to serve a range of patients from infants to grandparents all with a variety of ailments such as sciatica, neck pain, upper and lower back pain, migraines, arthritis and much more.

In his free time, Dr. Hamad enjoys staying active and spending time with his family.

Dr. Chelsea York, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Bethel Road

Dr. Chelsea York was born in Dallas, TX, spent her childhood in Chico, CA, and high school years in Cincinnati, OH where her family relocated to in 1999. She then attended Twentyfourseven, a Christian Leadership Academy, in 2002 spending nearly a decade in ministry in Colorado Springs, CO.

It was after her first chiropractic adjustment when she felt enlightened with the greatest sense of ease she had ever experienced, that she found her calling. In a short time under chiropractic care, she could tell she was more readily able to adapt to the changes and stressors within her internal and external environment, thus inspiring her to share the power of a regulated nervous system with the rest of the world. She attended Life University in Marietta, GA, where she obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Once the pandemic of 2020 began, she returned to Cincinnati to be close to her family—until she discovered that Columbus was only a short drive away from home with so much to offer!

Through her professional journey, Dr. York has learned to serve all types of people from pediatric to geriatric patients, with specialties in sports medicine and women’s health. She has been able to help people with a range of symptoms through proven treatments and techniques to relieve chronic pain, nerve injuries and neurological conditions. She has dedicated her life to the study and practice of spirit-souland-body wellness, and built her philosophy on the principles of integrity, compassion and excellence. She approaches every person knowing that they already have everything they need to heal on the inside of them, but only the interference to their nervous system needs to be removed. She strives to provide the highest level of chiropractic care and help each and every patient that she treats achieve a healthier, happier and pain-free life through the chiropractic adjustment, rehabilitative exercises, functional movement, stress management and nutrition.

Dr. York says the best thing about being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Columbus is the ability to provide quality chiropractic care at an affordable price so that every man, woman, and child has the opportunity to experience the amazing and lifechanging health benefits of routine chiropractic care!

Dr. York’s passion is helping others reach their optimal God-given potential by maximizing the connection between the brain and body through a structurally aligned spine— since structure of our spine dictates function of our nervous system.

During her free time, Dr. York enjoys visiting her boyfriend and family in Cincinnati, lifting weights and staying active, cooking healthy meals, traveling, and catching a Clippers game.

In case you didn’t know, Dr. York’s favorite quote is from the developer of chiropractic, BJ Palmer: “The power that made the body, heals the body. It happens no other way.”
