A native of Ohio, Dr. Stukey earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Allied Medical Professions and Human Biology from The Ohio State University in 1987. He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, in 1994.

Dr. Stukey first discovered his passion for chiropractic after experiencing an injury of his own in high school. The care he received made a lasting impact, inspiring him to dedicate his career to helping others achieve the same kind of recovery and wellness through chiropractic adjustments.

Very misleading about pricing and policies. Went in because of a coupon for 29$ initial visit to receive adjustment for a stiff neck. Was talked into a program that was presented as 1 month long consisting of 6 or 8 visits for 80$ which turned into 158$ at checkout. Went 5 or 6 times and did not go at all the last week that the plan expired. Unbeknownst to me my card was kept on file and I was charged another 79$ at the end of the month I signed up for. When I called and left a voicemail explaining I did not want another month of treatment nor did I authorize multiple charges to my card I was told that the doctors and front desk are very upfront about a 2 month minimum and to cancel/ prevent further charges I would have to come in and sign paperwork? Absolute lies and terrible business practices a 2 month minimum was not anytime mentioned when reading the breakdown on the desk about the different plans the only terminology used to give you any indication that you are tied into multiple months are the words " two cycles". Very upset and unhappy with the company, feel as if I have been scammed. Will not return

I have been to another Joint Clinic before with good pain relief, but I felt there was no skill at this location. I went with SI joint pain (lowest part of the back) and was charged $55 for less than 10 minutes of adjustment to my neck and upper back. My low back and SI joint were not even addressed. I experienced no relief. As a physical therapist I understand manipulations and adjustments but cannot perform on myself. Chiropractors can be helpful, however I would steer clear of this location and look elsewhere.

My experience of the joint chiropbacter has been good. The pain in my back and hips has went down.My range of motion is better and the tension in my back has tremendously went down. The staff there is very friendly. I just have to make sure I do my part and do my exercises but they've done their part. I’m visiting from LA to be with family to help me while receiving ketamine iv infusions for nerve damage all month and have been stopping at this location for adjustments every week. Everyone at this location was really nice with great chiropractors except for this younger female receptionist today. She asked me to fill a yearly HIPPA form, but I was confused because I already had been getting adjustments there all month. She said it was a yearly standard and looked annoyed, so I said ok. She wanted to text me the form but my phone was in the car with my mom, and then wanted to set it up on the iPad. I asked her if I could fill it on paper because I’m still having blue light sensitivity and light sensitivity and nausea from the infusions. She rolled her eyes rudely again and said “sure” in an annoyed way… I filled everything out except the form that asks to sign to receive text / email promotions. I gave it back and she said I had to sign that form. I told her no I didn’t have to because it’s for promotions and I don’t want to receive them. She tried to tell me again more angry “yes you do” and I asked why do I have to sign a promotion form to receive emails or texts when i don’t want to? She breathed out hard rolled her eyes and slammed the clipboard down on the table and said “fine fine you can go” in an angry annoyed way. When I told the chiro he told he said I didn’t have to sign the promotion form. I never did anything to deserve her being annoyed and rude to me from the beginning. She has short patience and got annoyed immediately when it’s her job to “help people” and make people feel welcome. Just that alone made me not want to come back… I for sure will never come back on a Monday when she is there. I’ve already been having a very hard time w the infusions and in a lot of pain where most days I’m stuck in bed sleeping and nauseated… so for me to get the energy to get up and handle a car ride to go to that location for help with an adjustment.. then try my best to fill the form without wanting to throw up.. and have her treat me that way really effected me and made me feel upset and more depressed when that should never have happened. It was extremely rude and unprofessional.

I've had lower back issues for several years because of two herniated disc. I've seen Dr. Anderson twice thus far and I can really tell a huge difference in my daily discomfort and sleep pattern. I came for a new client walk-in on a Saturday. First, fantastic hours! So much availability. I came in because I got an injury the night before. Check-in was pretty easy. The lobby was pretty full and the receptionist said that day happened to be especially busy. They still were able to get through every client relatively quickly, even several other new client walk-ins like me. The receptionist wasn't even able to eat her lunch, but she stayed positive and was very friendly to a child that came in with family and had to wait for her parents. Great first experience. I'm traveling soon too, so I will still be able to get follow-up adjustments easily at one of the many other locations when I am out of town.

What a blessing The Joint is in my life! Mid-morning today I experienced an unfamiliar pain in my back. I had a difficult time catching my breath or moving without causing a sharp pain radiating across my back. The intensity was causing physical illness. After my husband helped me with a series of stretches, application of essential oils and prayer, I was able to recover enough to make it into the office. I did not have to make a phone call, schedule an emergency appointment or even spend a moment waiting because when I walked in, the waiting room was wide open. I simply scanned my card and within moments after a brief consultation, I was experiencing relief and encouragement, thanks to the phenomenal Dr. and support staff. I had several ribs out of place, but left with my body back in alignment and my mind and spirit at ease. I was given advice for how to continue to recover at home and because I already have a membership in place, I will be looking forward to coming back in for follow ups as needed in the coming days and weeks. I came from another chiropractor whom was combination scared to adjust me and too weak to adjust me. All I did was dry needling and stretches. I’ve had my 3rd adjustment on today, and I and progressing well. I started going to the joint for an acute issue when I popped a rib from a sneeze. Turns out continued adjustments have significantly decreased my migraines as well. I was trying to become a new patient. The technician was very rude and condescending. Don't go in past 6pm for a consult or treatment because you WILL NOT BE SEEN! If the sign is not outside then you get NO SERVICE! But how would I know that if I just came to your establishment. His tone and demeanor was very nasty as if he had a problem with Black people. And the sad thing is.. I didn't go back for service. I would have caught a case.. your manager will not be happy about this review..nothing warm nor inviting about this location nor the staff. The staff here seems nice but be sure to get whatever details you need upfront I came in for routine adjustment on the weekend because my natural doctor isn't open weekends. Be specific with what you are coming in for, be prepared to pay at least 100$ pending on your insurance(or if they accept it) and ask questions. I wouldn't suggest this practice if you're looking for any decompression techniques, I've been to a few doctors and everyone adjusts to the left and right but no decompression techniques from neck to heel, not even doing a thorough hands on exam which is also needed when dealing with a herniated disc pushing down on a nerve. There is no x ray services, No massage bed. If you're looking to spend more and get less this is the practice for you.

The doctors and staff are kind and I was truly getting help from my visits but I had a medical situation that put me in the hospital for over a week, requiring two surgeries (which can easily be proved) and I was unable to use 3 of my 4 subscription visits ($80 a month for 4 visits). I was disappointed upon my recovery to find they were not willing to allow me to still use these paid for sessions because they "expired". If I simply elected not to visit I could understand this policy, but I would think being in a situation where I was literally unable to use them due to medical reasons would garner some sort of alternate consideration. Especially with the state of inflation in the world right now, I don't think offering to honor even one of the three would have been a financial burden on them but it is an expense that I now have to reconsider as I am unsure I won't have health problems in the future. Overall summary; good place, good people, bad policies.

The director of operations was working the front that day. We went in with a couple coupons for some free initial visits. She immediately yelled at us saying they do not offer those and they are not real coupons. I understand that they don’t honor the coupons we had but she was extremely rude about it. I love the convenience and care of The Joint. I’m a mom with bad hips, a full time desk job and no daycare through Covid-19. - They take my HSA and are only $40 a session if you don’t go for a discount bundle (they give free ones, too when you buy bundles) - You don’t normally need to have x-rays in order to get an adjustment. - They take walk-ins and are open after my 9-5 and Saturdays - They take good notes and work through your issues at your pace without pressing you to come back 3 times a week...unless you’ve had recent trauma of course. - The facility is very clean. Their Covid-19 prevention is excellent. They wipe everything down and are conscious of preventing transfer with their payment options. I scan a membership card. The Joint changed the way I look at chiropractic care. It’s casual and the staff is knowledgeable and wonderful to interact with. Now it’s something I look forward to as a quick weekly(ish) stop that I know I will feel better after. ?

(Updated) - After calling in a few times, they cancelled it for me over the phone and explained the misunderstanding before. (Before) I was a member since last year summer, and cancelled my membership for a couple months as I was travelling, then joined back. I’ve been going to The Joint for over a year and the front desk staff and chiropractors are wonderful. I have had lower back pain for a few years now and I love being able to go in 4 times a month, when I want, and at a SUPER affordable price. It’s kept me from having any big flare ups, like I use to get every few months. When I first started going I couldn’t even straighten my back and they helped me get back to normal in a month or so! The doctors always ask how I’m doing and if anything new is bothering me. I also love that I’m usually in and out in under 15 minutes, even in the busier after work hours! My insurance isn’t great and this makes it realistic to get and afford regular treatment. Would recommend to all!

The framework for chiropractic care at The Joint is practically very convenient & makes the most sense to me economically if I want to receive regular weekly ongoing care. This is the first time I’ve met a doctor who doesn’t want to help someone. We were visiting Columbus from out of town when my boyfriend had serious back pain and needed an adjustment immediately. The front desk staff told us the initial visit would be $29 but if he can’t continue to come back for the $69 4 visit package that he should “go to the emergency room, or find a dr. at home”.. rude and ridiculous. This place is a scam. I went in last month because my normal chiropractor was unavailable. I was told I had to purchase a one month package. I was not told there was a 2 month minimum commitment and they billed me again. This is worse then a gym membership that you get stuck in. I do not recommend using this company.

I had very bad experience here. May be I expected much from them in first visit. Front office staff was friendly and able to help me with paper work which is great. Doctor didn't take time to listen to me and didn't allow me to explain my problems and ask questions. " I want to get the next patient and have to leave home" this is what he interrupted me and told when i was asking him something. I understand they work from 10-7pm but Geesh when you have a patient please listen to him if you cant fit in that time ask the patient to schedule next day. I wanted to sign up for their wellness plan but decided not to because of un welcoming atmosphere there. PS: I am not gauging the doctor abilities or expertise here just few things making patient comfortable and listening to the problems helps.

I love the Joint on Bethel :) In April, I had severe lower back pain that left me almost immobile. The Lady in front, deliberately with held contract terms and information from my husband. It was his first chiropractic adjustment and took me years to finally get him to overcome this fear of the possibility of them breaking his neck. He was working out of town for 2 weeks in the area. She had him sign a contract to get adjusted 4 times in a month for $69! First of all we don't live in the area close to a Joint location AND wouldn't get adjusted that many times within 4 months!!!. When I discovered the automatic charges and called back, the lady was very rude and did not offer any remedy to solve this issue SHE created. Only that "he is a grown man and signed the contract ". Not only do I feel like I was cheated out of money for services not rendered, she charged my card twice in the same day for the last automatic draft before canceling the service. Therefore, I am leaving this review for those that don't know. Read everything even if they say it's just a waiver for the current adjustment. Whatever incentive for her to get ppl to sign up with contracts will be at YOUR expense. An email and phone call will be waiting for corporate Monday morning. This is inconvenient and a hassle for me to have to keep checking to see if she has charged my card being vengeful! If she worked in a food restaurant - for sure she would put something my drink! Corporate, this employee needs to be investigated, monitored for the information she presents to new customers and disciplined for the hardship she has caused me alone. I am seeking a refund for the extra charge placed on card. And to DESTROY my card information. NO OTHER CHARGES ARE AUTHORIZED TO BE PLACE ON MY CARD. The next charge I will ask legal action.

After visiting many chiropractors with no relief I decide to give the Joint a try and am so glad I did! I am extremely flexible which has caused other doctors to have a hard time adjusting me. Dr Bill took the time to listen to all my concerns and figure out the best way to adjust me despite my flexibility. It was the first time in a long time that I felt no pain. He goes above and beyond to ensure that you leave feeling better than when you arrived. The hours of operation are great for those who don't have a flexible schedule and being open on Saturday is really helpful for people that have no time during the week. Dr. Bill is a miracle worker and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for relief!

I signed up for 4 visits for $70 and signed the contract that said it is not a one time payment .. it’s going to charge me $70 every month .. I haven’t finished my 4 visits yet, and I got charged another $70 .. now, l know that it’s written in the contract, but they didn’t explain it to me .. when they got me to sign, they made it look like its a one time payment. When I called them to figure out what’s going on, they were very rude. i asked them if I can get my $70 back, they said no in a very rude way. So I have warned you ... you have to pay for the first 2 months weather you like it or not.

Ive been going for a month now Dr. Bill is the best Chiropractor I've experienced. I've had decent adjustments I've have bad adjustments but Dr. Bill gets a 5 star rating in my book every visit I feel like the adjustment is done correctly and he is paitent the visit is not rushed he listens to my concerns how I feel and adjusts accordingly and I feel great afterwards.

I was experiencing some severe neck, shoulder, back and hip pain that was radiating and dull at certain times, but the stiffness and pain did not go away. I found this location while doing a google search, and I am glad I did. The office staff I encountered was awesome! The receptionist was very personable (thanks for the mints and pen in addition to telling me about the Gahanna location which is closer to me). The doctor (Mr. Lancaster) is very knowledgeable and asked me if there was any type of adjustment I had tried in the past that did not work. Plus, he demonstrated an exercise that would help between my treatments. They both discuss the payment options available in laymen's terms. For the invaluable experience and relief, THANK YOU!!! I hope I have the same experience at the other location.

I wanted to clear the air. I retract my previous post. Michelle who is the Director of Operations (which i mistakenly did not know) was very professional and had a great conversation with me about the changes that are occurring. It was a misunderstanding and i really appreciate her taking the time to explain to me why the perception may have been what it was, but that it was not the reality of the situation and will not continue to be my reality. With any kind of change it takes time for things to set in. Dr. Joe was there for a long time so with that comes transition and getting used to new individuals. The Joint keeps me sane. I had injured my sacroiliac joint. Pain in my lower back, as I never felt before. I could not even roll over in bed without crippling pain. This was no good in my line of work, where I walk 8 to 10 miles a day. Chiropractic techniques reset the joint, and freed the pinched nerve. All that walking, with added weight and descending stairs, meant that stretching and weekly chiropractic visits would be great for maintaining my good health. But that was expensive, so I rarely went and I was miserable. I pass by The Joint occasionally, for work and saw their rates. It took ONE visit to know I was in hog heaven. Dr. Joe got both S.I. joints to reset, even the stubborn left. My day off rotates, so I have been adjusted by other doctors on staff. Dr. Cindy is like a spinal ninja. Her technique is flawless and she produces perfect torque, which is especially impressive, considering my structural density, haha. I saved my favorite for last. Dr. Chuck, found that knot of stress in my shoulder blades. Two moves later, its gone. His traction method can be best described as unkinking the hose of consciousness between your body and your brain.

The Joint is a wonderful chiropractic office. I have been going there for over two years and love it. It is just like a traditional chiropractic office, BUT without the high cost, and need for an appointment. I really like that I can drop by when I want an adjustment and when my schedule allows. The doctors are WONDERFUL. They always take the time needed to help me with my concerns. Dr. Joe is kind, smart and professional. I've been going to Dr. Cindy for about a year now, and she has helped me more than any other chiropractor I have gone to over the years. Due to disk degeneration and herniation in my lower back I am in constant pain, so I usually see Dr. Cindy twice a week for pain management. Adjusting my lower back is tricky, with my foot pronating badly after most adjustments, but Dr. Cindy has perfected her technique with a nearly 100% success rate, making it possible for me to walk almost pain free. Dr. Cindy hasn't stopped at pain management though. She researches and gives me suggestions for exercises to strengthen the area, and she recently referred me to a Physical Therapist who specializes in treating my particular problem. My first appointment with the PT is next week. I have found The Joint Chiropractic office to be so convenient, professional, and reasonably priced, and all of the doctors so competent and caring, that I can't imagine why anyone would want to go any place else.

Dr. Joe rocks! I am 50 years old, and while I don't have a nagging injury, I need to come in for what I call a "tune up" every 2 months or so. It eliminates any pain or stiffness in my neck and back. Don't be skeptical of chiropracty, it really helps or I would not go.
