Meet The Doctors
Dr. Brandon Bailey is a 3rd generation chiropractor who graduated from Life University in 2005. Since 2008, Dr Bailey has been serving Nashville and surrounding cities promoting health and wellness by treating a wide range of patients from babies only a few months old to grandparents in their 90’s, one spine at a time.
Dr. Bailey’s passion is helping others achieve optimal performance of the connection between the brain and body through a gentle and specific adjustment of the spine. He has not only demonstrated first-hand how the adjustment can release pressure on the nerve causing neck pain but also increasing better function throughout the spine where the body’s ability to heal itself is even faster. During his free time Dr. Bailey enjoys playing golf, cooking, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Bailey is proud to represent The Joint of Cool Springs to serve his native city of Brentwood and surrounding communities in its mission to improve the quality of life through routine and affordable chiropractic care.

Dr. Ben’s passion for chiropractic began after a chance meeting with a local chiropractor that changed his and his mother’s lives forever. Ben’s mom had suffered from debilitating migraines, from a previous motor vehicle accident, most of his life. It was not until she began receiving chiropractic care that she finally experienced relief. This miracle immediately inspired Ben to quit his job in sales and move to Marietta, GA to begin chiropractic school at Life University.
A native of Florida, Dr. Johnson loves spending time outdoors. His favorite place to be is at the beach in the sun and water. Another hobby of Ben’s is watching and playing all sports. Growing up he played competitive tennis in his teens and later earned a professional teaching license in the sport. His other interests include traveling, spending time with his family, volunteering with his previous home church for the Passion Conferences, and being around animals.

5 5 1DOCTORS 5 STARS & MANAGEMENT/OWNER 1 STAR I have suffered from chronic neck pain due to my work as a hospital and scrub RN and now Nurse Practitioner for many years. If you understand the premise of the spinal cord, nervous system, musculature, and subluxations then you know why chiropractic works. The Joint has enabled me to afford the care I need and they absolutely meet their Mission Statement which states, 'Our mission is to improve quality of life through routine and affordable chiropractic care." 5 STARS for meeting their mission statement for me. The wonderful thing about The Joint is I can go anywhere in the US and find a Joint if needed. On vacations I have visited other Joints in IL, FL and NJ when pain has interrupted my vacations and quality of life. I have absolutely loved many of the chiropractors in my particular area and find my favorites depending on what part of the city I am in. If I'm at my work location I go to a particular Doctor I prefer. If I am at home I go to another clinic or if I am running errands in a different part of the city I find my favorite there. I'd like to express the gratitiude to all the chiropractors that have helped me at The Joint and enable me to function better and allow me freedom from pain and irritation. In our busy culture, holding multiple roles, it's important to function your best. My favorites are Dr. Brandon, Dr Al and Dr Christa. I have also had other favorites in the past but they have moved on or left for some reason or another. I give all my Favorites 5 STARS. Others to mention that I love are Dr Ryan, Dr Amy and Dr Brook. Here's my issue most recently. There is a MASS EXODUS of all my favorite doctors for some reason. Over the months, I have noticed a trickle but now there is a hemorrhage of 7-10 doctors giving their notice. And apparently, after giving notice, the managemnt or owner then just lets that particular provider go despite probable cotracts. This is a tragedy and a huge disappointment for me and does effect my quality of life, time, travel and honestly concern. Management or the Owner (The Joint is a Francised business) have been constanly changing the schedule, moving all the doctors I see from clinic to clinc and changing their hours as well. This is a HUGE LOSS. The other day my favorite clinic was actually closed due to some unforwseen circumstances but also they now close multiple clcinics on Sundays because they do not have the patient volume or worse yet a Doctor available. I give the management and Owner 1 STAR only for this reason. I've been in the medical field since 1999 and my experience tells me that management is either micro-managing, not paying their doctors well, don't treat them well or is unethical in some way shape or form. In addition, I have been a chriopratic patient since I was preteen and I speak from some knowledge, because of my own observations, experience and have 5 chiroprators in the family. I'm grateful that my last favorite doctor is still available and that it's affordable for me. I hope this Owner assesses the problems and transforms it before ot's too late. As a patient and Provider myself I understand and support continuity of care for quality chiropractic care.

5 5 1Love coming here! Both Dr.'s are very clear in the fact that their goal is for a routine and maintenance approach. If you haven't been to a chiropractor in months/years don't think you can come once every other week and expect miracles - you just don't have realistic expectations and that isn't the Dr.'s fault. I committed to coming twice a week for the first month after not seeing a chiropractor regularly in years and I feel amazing now. I had been limping over the past year from a hip injury and have finally quit favoring that leg - a year of physical therapy hasn't even fully accomplished that! It's now been two months of regular visits and The Joint - Brentwood is one of my favorite places to stop in during the week. 15 minutes - in & out. Highly, highly recommend.

5 5 1The doctors are very versatile in their techniques and accommodating as far as being more gentle or more forceful. They can use the Thompson drop tables well, which is really important to me. I've gone to a lot of chiropractors. The Joint is a great way to go for maintenance. However, if you've never gone to a chiropractor and are in a lot of pain, I suggest going somewhere for x-rays first. Once you know what the problem is, you can make better decisions about getting adjusted (or not). This Joint and the location in Cool Springs are both excellent for adjustments.
