I am writing to share feedback regarding my five-year experience as a patient with The Joint Chiropractic. I was unable to provide this feedback privately when canceling my membership, as a reason was automatically selected for me. Ultimately, I decided to cancel my membership based on the advice of my primary care physician. While there are talented practitioners at The Joint, high staff turnover makes consistent care difficult. It is very much in my opinion the "Puppy Mill" of chiropractic care.. In my experience, doctors frequently leave every 6 to 12 months, forcing patients to continually restart their care with new providers. Furthermore, addressing grievances is frustrating; local staff often point to corporate policy, while corporate directs issues back to the franchise owner, making it difficult to resolve problems. Additionally, the standard practice of adjusting patients from head to toe during every visit, regardless of specific need, caused me new physical issues. My primary care physician recommended physical therapy, emphasizing the importance of targeted, long-term movement tools over repeated adjustments without rehabilitation. Since following my physician's advice, my condition has significantly improved, my body is healing, and I have been able to discontinue several medications I was taking while receiving regular adjustments. I hope this feedback offers useful insight into the patient experience at your clinics.

Im a brand new patient. I walked in with severe pain. Front office staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Doc Edens is now my spirit animal. He genuinely cares! I would buy a used car from him sight unseen! He adjusted everything including my attitude. Afterward, I drove home in traffic and didn't utter a single cussword and my headache is gone. My advice is to go to a REAL professional Chiropractic office. This place is more about getting you to buy a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION than they are about your health and well being. While the the providers and care are good, the program is abusive to consumers. I prefer single visit pay…which is higher price (2X and not an issue) they force you to fill out paperwork each visit even if you were just there to force you into a plan. Abuse the paying customer to fix the income for the company when it is unnecessary and not additive. This is dark design patterns and should be seen as consumer abuse. Not illegal but not so Went I can support nor tolerate. I will share this experience with my friends and family that I have recommended before and people will vote with our dollars.

This is the most incredible Chiropractor I've ever had the pleasure of receiving care from. Dr. Banning is a master of his craft, and his bedside mannerisms, along with the general attitudes of the staff, heavily endear both him and his entire office to patients in short order. I visited the store due to a strange knee injury that made it difficult for me to walk. As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed by the staff, starting with the receptionist. The chiropractor listened patiently to my concerns and worked on my knee without hesitation. Immediately, I was able to walk out without any pain. This is the first time I've been unhappy with an adjustment from the Joint. I outlined the main places that were stuck: C7, right rib, right foot and 2 places in the thoracic spine. I got heavy pressure that didn't end up cavitating the joint and made me pause and catch my breath, a normal cervical adjustment and a leg pull because she 'doesnt do feet'. So I'm out $ and still feel stiff throughout my back and my foot still really hurts. I do appreciate the partial release my neck received, but there are still still places majorly out of alignment. I know there isn't time to chat but a little curiosity about whether I got the relief I needed would have been welcome. I am a chiropractic LMT and work at a Chiro myself, so I expected a level of care that just wasn't present today. I will still visit the joint, but certainly not this Doctor.

At 27 weeks pregnant with twins, mom of 3 (1 set of twins already) and a military veteran- coming to get adjustments have been a basic requirement. I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff at The Joint Goodlettsville is. Dr. Brooke, Dr. Sarah, and Dr. Jorge have all adjusted me and they get it right every time. They address every need I have had, or anything they think may help ease the body changes of pregnancy or even lifestyle. I sit at a computer for work and that can be trying on your back too, but they definitely make me feel better. My husband who struggles with lower back issues and pelvic tilt gets adjusted there too- and he’s feeling a ton better than he was before he started coming. Definitely worth a visit- and totally affordable- quality care. 10/10 Recommend!

The joint is really great! Went in for my first visit a couple days ago. Have my second today. My neck was outa wack giving me a bad migraine. I walked in and within 20 min of doing paperwork and waiting my turn, I was in the back getting adjusted. Front desk lady was super nice. Chiropractor was super chill and knew exactly what he was doing. This was also the cheapest adjustment I've ever paid for. They are running a special for $29 which is unheardof where I'm from. They need to open one of these in South Ga!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a chiropractor, but my first visit here was a pretty good reminder why I shouldn’t have waited so long to get back to one. I’d honestly resigned to the fact that I was going to just have to deal with hip and lower back pain for the rest of my life - which, when it flares up, sometimes lands me at the ER for the severity. I came in to The Joint intending to only ask for more information, and everyone was incredibly friendly and happy to answer my questions. I decided to get an adjustment and left feeling a lot better than I have in several years, and I don’t have any plans to let my issues get so out of control again if I can avoid it. The immediate relief I felt in a hip that had been causing me pain so severe I couldn’t walk most days alone is proof enough that I needed to do this a lot sooner than I did. I’m definitely going to keep coming back!

Recently started going here in the last month, and instantly got a lot of relief just within the first initial visit. Staff is friendly, you're in and out very quickly, and it's affordable. They don't take insurance, but you don't need it because of their affordability, and honestly, it comes out to about the same pricing, if not cheaper than places that do take insurance. I always feel so much better after leaving here, my back doesn't feel so stiff and tight, and for somebody who's been dealing with chronic back pain for 10 years, the relief I get in return for my visits are well worth it.

Very clean, friendly environment and I love the fact they're open later in the evenings and on Saturdays to work with my schedule. I went for my new patient exam this past Saturday and Dr. Zach Gammill was super friendly, knowledgeable, and definitely listened to my concerns. I have seen many different chiropractors over the last 10 years or so, some that I loved and others that simply sufficed. Dr. Zach was great, and I felt amazing afterward. I will say one thing I will forewarn new patients about, that surprised me but does not discourage me from going, is that any time you go, people wait in the back area as well so people may watch you getting adjusted. For your new patient appointment, others are kept up front but any appointment after you are in an open room with others. Overall, I highly recommend Joint Chriopractic in Goodlettsville, TN.

Dr. Zach is the best! My back has been giving me issues forever, he has given me hope that I don’t have to live in pain. I tried other chiropractors in another state in the past with no luck. They didn’t take the time to listen & adjust me to fix my root issue, I might get relief but my sciatic pain would come back to the point of tears - I didn’t believe chiropractic care would help. Someone suggested The Joint here - I’ve been to both Goodlettsville & Hendersonville all the providers & front desk staff are WONDERFUL! I was bent over in pain literally picking up my leg to walk Dr. Zach was there my first visit he fixed me up with my first adjustment, now I go weekly & I rarely have a flare up! I like the lady at the desk and the 2 Docs there; very personable. The only thing I am unhappy about is the when my wife went to cancel her membership, she was told that another month had just been charged to her that day. Quick service, cost efficient plan, Chiropractors are very transient and the person you work with changes often. While the cost point is attractive, I found that each person worked differently on you and new folks did not ask permission to do things like adjust your neck. The original folks who worked this location were great but moved on. :(

So far so good. She was very understanding and very non-judgmental. She seemed to tailor my visit to my immediate need while keeping long term care in the background but not forgotten. Very good about explaining what she was doing and why and what the intended outcome was. She provided realistic expectations for my adjustment instead of pretending she could just fix me real quick. She discussed what my care plan would look like and explained the reasoning behind my follow up home instructions instead of just expecting me to follow them blindly. Over all it was a very good first impression and I will definitely be back and purchased a plan.

I went to the Joint in Goodlettsville for the first time yesterday. I have been thinking about going for awhile now, but pain prompted me to make an appointment asap. When I called, they got me in right away. The receptionists were very friendly and truly engaging. My Chiropractor, Ellie, was very thorough with her questions and considerations to decide the right course of treatment. Even though they werea little busy, she didn't rush me and was friendly. I am still in pain this morning, but much better than yesterday morning and going back today with hope. The only thing I was slightly uncomfortable with, (maybe this is a Chiropractor office thing) is the next patient came and sat in the back and watched me finish up my treatment. Overall, great experience and I'm looking forward to feeling better!

Facility is simple. No massage gun to help loosen you up before or traction table after. But adjustment was helpful and Dr. Molly kept working my neck until we had progress. I’m feeling better now and did sign up for the monthly program. Which, considering the monthly plan was nearly what I paid per visit at the last place, I can live without the traction table.

Great experience.. Definitely looking forward to feeling better again. A bit sore afterwards, roughly 4 to 5 hours later, but I'm sure that is normal. Definitely drink your water afterwards.

Dr Ellie is wonderful I woke up having trouble getting my breath today and she really helped a lot getting me aligned. Also last time I seen her I was having severe dizziness and she totally fixed the problem!!!! I may need x ray of neck to get it going because my neck is extremely complicated and I know I have a bone spur on left side so the neck I don’t get involved because it’s hard to get it right. Other than the neck I’ve had an amazing experience with Dr Ellie. She is patient and extremely understanding listening to everything I’ve got going on which is very overwhelming to anyone. My first time getting worked on at a chiropractor was a great experience. I can say that I was really happy to find a chiropractor that didn’t cost an arm and a leg before even getting treated. I had talked to others before that wanted thousands up front, and that was after they ran my insurance. This place is convenient with no appointments needed. I have had back pain for over 2 decades, and after the first visit, my pain went from barely able to get around to just a dull ache. I am looking forward to future visits in order to help eliminate that pain I thought I would have forever.

I might have sounded underwhelmed on the phone when Dr. Alex called me but WOW! A day after I went in with numbing tingling running down my arm from a pinched nerve I got that day, I was able to work and lift again. Showed up 35 minutes before closing with only one new patient ahead of me and was told they can’t see me. At first I was told is would be 6:45-6:50 till I could be seen then after I said that was fine I’ll wait, they ask the doctor and then I was told I can’t be seen. Chiropractic care can benefit everyone, holistically! Most people don't realize the true benefits and that chiropractors have more schooling than medical doctors. My roommate had a stroke in February and she is standing upright and walking with a walker since her first adjustment. As for myself, I was in a horrific car accident 3 1/2 years ago and have been in pain daily. I'm feeling better and almost pain free since my first adjustment. I feel better than I have in years.

UPDATE: It has been several months since this review. My thumb is still messed up. I am going through the VA to see what it is, 10-1 they caused damage. ALSO, despite my attempt to cancel they continued to bill me for the last two months. I made my wish to cancel clear and have not used their service again yet still they billed. Too bad there isn’t a half star rating. If you have a tight muscles don’t bother. Neither chiropractor could manipulate me. I was told on both occasions to get messages first. Additionally, I never had sever thumb pain prior to visiting. I never had any thumb pain. Also, NO REFUNDS… even though, because of my thumb, I was comped a visit leaving me with ALL of the package I paid for after my initial. Money burned.

I love love love doctor Matt at this location ( sometimes in Hendersonville apparently) he makes sure to get every knock and cranny. He is very thorough going through the body. He applies a bit more pressure that most others I've been to but you feel amazing afterwards. Staff in every location has been super friendly and of course facilities always are clean and sterile.

I woke up this morning with bruises everywhere and feeling worse than I did when I walked in. I also woke up to a $128 charge instead of a $29 charge for first visit. They also kept my card number. Stopped to get an adjustment at the Joint in Goodlettsville. Dr Johnson was the chiropractor there and I've got to say he gave me the most thorough adjustment that I've had in a long time. I wish he was stationed at the Hermitage joint which is closer to where I live. I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson.

Lindsay the receptionist was very welcoming and even helped me fill out the paperwork because I was in too much pain to write. Dr. Corey answered my questions, addressed all my needs, and put me on a schedule to help me get better. He also showed me exercises to do and even got down on the floor to demonstrate. I was hesitant to go here because they didn’t take insurance but the prices ended up less expensive than I would have to pay with my insurance anyway. I highly recommend Dr. Corey if you are in pain or even if you just need regular maintenance! Bonus: He is up to date on all new techniques and he is younger so he has the energy to get things done properly.

The Joint is Goodlettsville’s hidden gem. Dr. Jared is AMAZING ?? . He is super thorough and genuinely listens to what you say. He has helped me significantly decrease my migraines so much that I was able to stop using a preventative medication. I’ve referred him to my family and he has also saved my grandmother from having to get surgery on her foot. Love the flexibility of just being able to drop in rather than rushing around to try and keep to an appointment time and the ease of check-in. Even when there are already a couple folks ahead of me, the wait time is very minimal and not a problem. Both receptionist and the chiropractor are very nice and courteous.

OMG where do I start? The Joint in Goodlettsville has shocked me and changed my bad perception of chiropractic care. I have suffered with carpal tunnel for many years as well as back/shoulder pain for a while now. I saw the $29 into offer and thought “what the heck” I’ve wasted more than that on coffee...lol I just had my 4th visit and can see a dramatic difference! This is the first time I’ve had no back pain in more than a year and my carpal tunnel is improving. When I thought I was going in to get bare minimum and a crazy sales pitch, little did I know it would be life changing for me. The doctors are great and knowledgeable, while listening to my needs. I really love The Joint. There are so many benefits to being a part of their monthly program. I can go to any of their hundreds of locations (awesome when I'm traveling!), at whatever time is convenient for me (no appointments & 6-7 days a week with awesome late hours available), and with an amazing variety of doctors with different experiences. The monthly program let's me go up to 4 times a month for an affordable amount of money, which helps me stay consistent and maintain my chiropractic care. And if I need more than the 4 adjustments in a month, it's extremely inexpensive to add in more. I use The Joint in Goodlettsville the most, because it is closest to my home. I LOVE the staff and doctors there! Thank you.

My husband and I visited for the first time today. We were both surprised at how thorough our adjustments were. The chiropractor was great and worked on things that others haven’t touched. We both feel so much better. We signed up for their wellness plan after we were done, which is a great deal. I was honestly expecting a quick one minute adjustment like we’ve had at other places because the price is so low compared to other places. I was wrong! I had planned on trying out a few chiropractors, but we are sticking with The Joint. Ask them about their $29 special!

They give you the help you need and none of the superfluous extras that drive up the price. You don’t need insurance and the price is the same as some copays anyway. The facilities are clean, everyone wears a mask, tables are cleaned after every use and you can even wait in the car where you will receive an alert via phone if it is super busy. I exercise frequently but I sit at a desk for work for sometimes 10 hours a day. The doctors here not only cracked my joints to provide instant relief, but they also told me about stretches I have never done before. In short: affordable, clean, friendly, nice and convenient location.

The staff is professional, friendly and always available to answer any questions. During this COVID-19 pandemic they have been very diligent on keeping the office and equipment clean and safe. They also have wonderful hours for those that can't get there during work hours (8-5). You get in and out quickly so you can go about your day. I highly recommend them for your chiropractic needs!
