Dr. Tim Dunne joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2024 when he became part of the team at the Johnson City clinic, where he does the rewarding work of helping people as their local healthcare provider.
He really enjoys providing treatment and promoting health for people without the use of pharmaceuticals. “I love helping my patients develop a healthy lifestyle,” he says.
He previously worked in Carleton, Mich. and Toledo, Ohio.
Dr. Dunne grew up near Detroit. His wife, Cindy, is also a chiropractor. They have four children and seven grandchildren.
When Dr. Dunne isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with family, bodybuilding, and cheering for the University of Michigan’s football team.
Dr. Dunne earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Ga. where he studied rehabilitation and sports. He became interested in pursuing chiropractic through the realization that a healthy lifestyle includes chiropractic care.
One of his most memorable experiences was working with athletes at Milligan University, on the USA Bobsled Team, and The Arnold Classic professional bodybuilding competition.
What he likes best about working with the residents of Johnson City is the opportunity to have a positive effect on a large number of patients.
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Dunne always has eggs and rice on hand.
His favorite experience in life is the meaningfulness of being a father and grandfather.
One of the best books Dr. Dunne has ever read is The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman.
If he wrote an autobiography, Dr. Dunne would entitle it Life is a Choice.
Dr. Dunne’s favorite advice came from his grandfather who said, “Live YOUR life.”
Dr. Rosie Meuleman is a chiropractor who has made a significant impact in the field of chiropractic care. Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Meuleman obtained a bachelor's degree from State University at Long Beach California before attending the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, where she graduated with a degree in chiropractic care.
Dr. Meuleman has always been drawn to chiropractic care due to its simplicity of adjusting and the healing power it has to restore the body to good health. After becoming licensed in California, she decided to retire in Hawaii and live on the island of Kauai. However, the Hawaiian lifestyle drew her back into practice, and she became licensed in the state of Hawaii.
Despite her love for Hawaii, family needs called Dr. Meuleman back to the mainland, and she joined "The Joint" in Southern California in 2016. She worked at many locations as a relief doctor before moving to Texas, where she has worked in Austin and San Antonio. Now Tennessee is her home and Johnson City is her clinic. Dr. Meuleman has a passion for fitness and flexibility and believes that patience is her friend. She strives to serve her patients to the best of her ability, always giving them her best. When she's not adjusting patients, Dr. Meuleman enjoys spending time with her family and dancing it up at Zumba class. If she could have anyone to have dinner with, it would be Jesus Christ, to whom she owes all, Julia Childs because she was a great cook, and Jim Gaffigan to make us laugh. She must have half and half in the refrigerator for her coffee, and one of the greatest things she's done is complete the "fire Walk" of walking over red hot coals with Tony Robbins while attending training on neuro linguistic programming.
Dr. Rosie Meuleman's commitment to chiropractic care has made her a valuable asset to the communities she has served. Her passion for fitness, her commitment to her patients, and her love for her family and community have made her a well-respected figure in the field of chiropractic care.
The Johnson City community is gaining a passionate and experienced healthcare provider with the arrival of Dr. Lance Wittwer, DC at The Joint Chiropractic. With a deep-rooted commitment to natural healing and patient-centered care, Dr. Wittwer brings over a decade of chiropractic experience to East Tennessee—most recently serving patients at The Joint Chiropractic in Clarksville, TN.
A proud graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Wittwer was inspired to enter the profession by his father, a respected chiropractor in Indiana. “I grew up watching my dad help people heal without drugs or surgery, and I knew early on that I wanted to follow the same path,” he shares.
Dr. Wittwer has practiced in several communities across the U.S., including Kentucky, Texas, and Tennessee. His diverse background has shaped a versatile, compassionate approach to chiropractic care that resonates with patients of all ages. Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic back pain, headaches, or simply want to feel and function at your best, Dr. Wittwer is here to help you move better and live better.
Patients appreciate Dr. Wittwer for his personalized treatments and approachable demeanor. He believes in building lasting relationships and getting to the root of pain—not just treating the symptoms.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Wittwer is a family man who enjoys fitness, faith, and the outdoors. He and his wife, Carla—a talented DIYer and devoted foster mom—have a daughter, Lexi, who loves basketball, dancing, and music. Their dachshund, Buster, is a loyal companion who never turns down a game of fetch.
Dr. Wittwer is excited to serve the Johnson City area and looks forward to becoming a familiar face in your health and wellness journey.
