Dr. Pat Kolwaite was born in Atlanta, GA and raised in different parts of the country, including Little Rock and Syracuse, NY. He received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Auburn University in 1997. While a student at Auburn, he worked for the Tigers football team and saw the benefits and effects chiropractic care had on injured players. He decided that he wanted to deliver the same benefits to others and was accepted at Life University in Atlanta, GA, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001.

Dr. Pat married his college sweetheart, Monika, and moved to her hometown of Memphis upon graduation. He founded and owned Mid-South Chiropractic Center and is proficient in many chiropractic techniques, most often utilizing Diversified, Thompson Drop, and Activator techniques. Seeing the tremendous benefits that routine chiropractic care gave to people’s life, but frustrated by insurance restrictions and expensive out of pocket costs to the patient, he decided to bring The Joint Chiropractic to the Memphis area.

“The everyday stresses that cause so many of our aches and pains don’t go away. People still have to go back to work the next day or continue to put strains on themselves that their body wasn’t intended for. That’s what I love about The Joint. In 2018, Dr. Pat became a Regional Developer for The Joint Chiropractic, helping to open The Joint locations throughout the states of Alabama. Mississippi, and Louisiana. Dr. Pat and Monika have two sons, Josh and Connor. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, going to the lake, and cheering on their Tigers (the Auburn kind, but they love the Memphis Tigers too!).

Dr. George Freeman is originally from Hernando, Mississippi, and currently resides in Cordova, Tennessee. He attended Mississippi University for his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, and later graduated from Logan Chiropractic University in 2019. He specializes in the Webster technique and extremities. He joined The Joint Chiropractic team in 2024. Outside of work, Dr. Freeman enjoys volleyball, hiking, and disc golf.
