Meet The Doctors
Dr. Ramirez was born in Houston, Texas. He began his undergraduate studies at the University of Houston with a major in Biology. His plan to enter the field of Dentistry was sidetracked after going to see a Chiropractic Intern for wellness care. Following this encounter, his perspective on the idea of health and wellness dramatically altered the course of his academic endeavors. He enrolled himself at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX and earned a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in April 2007 and subsequently thereafter a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology. In addition, he completed approximately 300 hours of Post-Graduate studies in the ancient healing art of Acupuncture. Dr. Ramirez is currently in pursuit of a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
Dr. Ramirez has seen first-hand the healing ability of Chiropractic and has a deep passion for adjusting as many people as possible who are in need of this manual medicine. Throughout his years in practice, he has seen dramatic improvements in the health of his many patients and wants to educate the community about how Chiropractic unlocks the body's innate ability to heal itself naturally, without the use of drugs or surgery. Dr. Ramirez has had great success treating toddlers, children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly, as well as athletes and expectant mothers. In addition, he is fluent in Spanish and is eager to serve the Latino community.
Dr. Ramirez enjoys spending time with his friends and family and maintains an active lifestyle. His physical activities are numerous and varied and include biking, running, yoga, stretching, and resistance and functional training. He believes that leading a healthy lifestyle through good eating habits, a regimen of daily exercise, an equal balance of work and play, and routine Chiropractic care are the key to longevity and improving quality of life.

5 5 1Dr. Ramirez and Dr.Brett are the crème de la crème because they take the time with their patients. For example, Dr. Brett used the spinal bone model to show me how the condyle at the base of the skull can become impacted if my head would be leaning forward or even to the side for several hours at a time. I told Dr. Brett that I was experiencing a headache especially around the crown of my head and tenderness at the base of my skull. While in a seated position Dr. Brett wrapped my head with his arms and initiated what he dubbed the " Condyle Release." He simply pulled up my head in a safe and swift manner that caused a series of popping noise. What I quickly experienced following the procedure was instant pain and stress relief especially at the base of my skull and at the shoulders. This procedure was the first of a kind for me. And just when I thought that Dr. Brett was finished he asked me to bend my elbows and bring my arms together in front of me. From behind he grabbed me at the elbows and lifted me up producing a spinal popping release at the thoracic area of my spine. Instant stress relief! An incredible experience by a hidden gem! I had such a great experience at the Joint in Rosenberg and was looking forward to getting a great adjustment when I went to this location today, but was highly disappointed. The dr barely did anything and after 3 minutes he said, we are done. I looked at him and you didn’t do anything, he replied by telling me that I was too tense.

1 5 1Just went in and got an adjustment. The nice lady doctor tried her best with a sore thumb that didn't allow her to really get in there. It was obvious that one leg was still shorter and higher. She couldn't get it. I asked her if the man doctor (come to find out the director for that location) could come try. After talking to him in his office, she said, no he is too busy and to just see how I feel and come back next week. Seriously??? I told her loudly, you have got to be kidding me, doesn't the customer come first? I thanked her for trying, and went and asked the receptionist who I needed to complain to. Yep, I can only complain to the guy who didn't care that I got a poor adjustment and was still in pain. I'll give doctor Ben 10 stars out of 5. He's awesome! I will only go back when he is there.

1 5 1Front desk attendant seem very prejudiced and rushed me through the application process and made a remark that they were closing soon even though they had another hour while being open. I only say this because when a white couple came in her tone changed and she had all the patience in the world for them and talked through the process thoroughly. Customers here seem the share the same sentiment as when we were waiting, the same white couple that came in after me made a very racist remark towards a woman of Asian decent as she was leaving. Sad to have had this experience as I’ve seen positive reviews. Will not recommend this place to anyone ever.

As long as I keep my weekly appointment with Dr Brett and stay adjusted I have much fewer days off work. I was considering major spinal fission surgery and the Joint was a last resort stop before surgery. I no longer need that surgery. All I really needed was regular adjustments to release the nerves and muscles of my spine. We are so blessed beyond measure by the care we receive here. I have freedom to go out and enjoy my life because of the Joint. Even if you don’t have major back issues, just living life can stress you and tighten your muscles. Give them a call. 5 5 1I started seeing Dr. Mitra when I had horrible sciatica pain. I love to cook and I couldn't even stand in the kitchen for more than a couple minutes without having to lay down. If I tried to bend down to empty the dishwasher I was in horrible pain..... This went on for about 4 weeks...then I started seeing Dr. Mitra. Within a couple weeks are started feeling less pain and now I don't have any at all..I went from taking pain meds every four hours to no meds at all......she gave me some stretches to do to prevent this from happening again. She is professional and really knows what she is doing...each visit she would take the time to ask me how I was doing really listen to any questions I had. I never felt rushed or hurried. If you have any sort of apprehension to going to a chiropractor (like I did) I highly recommend you request Dr. Mitra. She is just wonderful.

5 5 1I have been using chiropractic care for many years and have found I have less issues with my pains and illnesses when I stay on a regular schedule with my adjustments. I really have enjoyed finding The Joint because it helps being able to come in on weekends due to my schedule at work. I am a Heavy Haul truck driver and I handle heavy chains all day. My day starts at 4:00 am and ends around 8:00 pm that evening, 6 days a week. The staff is the greatest as far as I am concerned, starting with Taylor. When we check in she is a joy to joke with while waiting on the doctors. I was a little concerned with the changing of the different doctor almost every visit but each one has been a joy.
