Meet The Doctors
Dr. Scott Harris, originally from Houston, Texas, comes to us with 30 years experience in the Chiropractic profession. Dr. Harris was formerly trained at the Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena and was owner/operator of his own private practice in San Antonio for 23 years, until joining a multidiscipline occupational medicine group where he has been for the last 7 years. Dr. Harris’ hobbies include fitness, cooking, coastal kayak fishing and spending time with his two college age sons.
Dr. Mike Shaw has been with The Joint Chiropractic since 2016 and is proud to be part of the clinics in Killeen and Temple. A 1995 graduate of Texas A&M with a BS degree in exercise physiology, he received his doctorate in chiropractic from Parker University in 2001.
“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is the opportunity I have to change lives every day,” Dr. Mike says. “It’s extremely gratifying to see continued personal growth among my patients.”
Dr. Mike worked previously in Dallas and Austin after being raised in New Braunfels.
In his spare time, he enjoys fitness, sleeping, spending time at the beach, and attending concerts.
He says he knew chiropractic would be his calling “when I realized how powerful chiropractic was. It resolved a neck pain I had been suffering with for years.”
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Mike says the one thing he always has handy in his refrigerator is That Green Sauce from H-E-B, because it can be used on just about anything.
Given the opportunity to create a dinner party with anyone from history, he would like to bring together comedians from the glory days of SNL. “I would love to get Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and John Belushi together and just sit back and listen to old Saturday Night Live stories,” he says.
The coolest thing Dr. Mike has done, he says, was join the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America program. “It was a life-changing experience,” he says.
Dr. Jeter joined The Joint Chiropractic’s family of local healthcare providers in 2021 and currently works at Joint Chiropractic’s New Braunfels location. A graduate of local Parker Chiropractic College, who studied Pharmacy, Anatomy and Chiropractic Medicine, he received his doctorate of chiropractic in 1992, he still enjoys learning and loves sharing about health-related issues, wellness, and Chiropractic care.
Dr. Jeter, as he likes to be called, says the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is: “Being able to improve health without the use of drugs or surgery.”
The second best thing about being in the chiropractic field is “Being able to see patients of all ages from infants to geriatrics. ”. Dr. Jetter is from the Dallas area and moved back to the New Braunfels area and really enjoys living in the San Antonio area near friends and family.
He knew chiropractic was his calling when- “Being able to see patients of all ages from infants to geriatrics”.

Hobbies include spending time with grandchildren, also outside activities - hunting and fishing.
Dr. Chad Daniels is a native Texan who grew up in Dallas and attained his degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas State University. In 2016, he graduated from the prestigious Parker College of Chiropractic with his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He continues to attend additional seminars that allows him to deliver the best care available.
Before starting his education in chiropractic, Dr. Daniels worked in a Chiropractic clinic. He quickly became inspired by the results and health benefits chiropractic care provided. Seeing first hand Chiropractic’s ability to bring health and wellness to others is when Dr. Daniels found his calling. He wanted to make a positive impact on the health and lives of others.
Since then, Dr. Daniels has proudly provided the people of Haiti and the Dominican Republic with Chiropractic care. There he observed and obtained additional knowledge on how to treat a wide range of conditions in infants all the way to seniors. The oldest patient he helped lived to be 107 and happened to be his great grandmother, Jesse.
Dr. Daniels has extensive training working with individuals who suffer from headaches, neck and back pain, sciatica, spinal disc problems, extremity pain and scoliosis. He addresses these common issues by utilizing specific techniques to properly align the spine to health. He prides himself on providing individualized care to people by presenting a life-long plan to wellness.
In his personal life, Dr. Daniels can be found spending time with his parents and older sister. He enjoys wake boarding, water skiing, and hunting. He started playing competitive soccer at three years old and continues to play every opportunity he gets.
Dr. Daniels’ mission is to bring a happier, healthier, pain free lifestyle to each and every individual he serves.
