Meet The Doctors
Dr. Scott Harris, originally from Houston, Texas, comes to us with 30 years experience in the Chiropractic profession. Dr. Harris was formerly trained at the Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena and was owner/operator of his own private practice in San Antonio for 23 years, until joining a multidiscipline occupational medicine group where he has been for the last 7 years. Dr. Harris’ hobbies include fitness, cooking, coastal kayak fishing and spending time with his two college age sons.
Dr. Chad Daniels is a native Texan who grew up in Dallas and attained his degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas State University. In 2016, he graduated from the prestigious Parker College of Chiropractic with his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He continues to attend additional seminars that allows him to deliver the best care available.
Before starting his education in chiropractic, Dr. Daniels worked in a Chiropractic clinic. He quickly became inspired by the results and health benefits chiropractic care provided. Seeing first hand Chiropractic’s ability to bring health and wellness to others is when Dr. Daniels found his calling. He wanted to make a positive impact on the health and lives of others.
Since then, Dr. Daniels has proudly provided the people of Haiti and the Dominican Republic with Chiropractic care. There he observed and obtained additional knowledge on how to treat a wide range of conditions in infants all the way to seniors. The oldest patient he helped lived to be 107 and happened to be his great grandmother, Jesse.
Dr. Daniels has extensive training working with individuals who suffer from headaches, neck and back pain, sciatica, spinal disc problems, extremity pain and scoliosis. He addresses these common issues by utilizing specific techniques to properly align the spine to health. He prides himself on providing individualized care to people by presenting a life-long plan to wellness.
In his personal life, Dr. Daniels can be found spending time with his parents and older sister. He enjoys wake boarding, water skiing, and hunting. He started playing competitive soccer at three years old and continues to play every opportunity he gets.
Dr. Daniels’ mission is to bring a happier, healthier, pain free lifestyle to each and every individual he serves.
Dr. John Carlson joined The Joint Chiropractic in February of 2022. He attended Texas Chiropractic College where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in May 1981. He also attended and completed 100 hours of post-graduate training in Chiropractic Orthopedics at Texas Chiropractic College from 1985 to 1987 along with the completion of three postgraduate training courses in impairment rating. The most recent impairment training completed was the Designated Doctor course "Impairment Evaluation Under Texas Worker's Compensation 4th Edition, taught by Texas Medical Association and accredited by ACCME and 18.5-hour course. Completed Los Angeles Chiropractic College Rehabilitation Certification Course of 120 hours of training from 1996-1997. Received certification in Spinal Decompression Therapy by completing "Advanced Patient Classification, Modalities, & Rehab" course by Logan Chiropractic College University Program taught by Jay Kennedy, MA, D.C. and certified by Kennedy Decompression Technique 2009. Spinal Decompression training updated 2011 and 2018.
His favorite thing about being a chiropractor is helping people get well without drugs or surgery. Before joining The Joint Chiropractic family, Dr. Carlson practiced in Edinburg and Austin, TX where he was raised. He knew chiropractic was his calling after he had an injury in high school during basketball, and nothing seemed to help him. After coming home from chiropractic college, his brother (now Dr. Don Carlson) saw he was walking funny, and performed an adjustment on him and his pain was instantly gone. His brother looked at him and said “John, you should become a chiropractor” John replied with, “I can do that” and he became a chiropractor himself. In his spare time, he loves to golf, go camping and fish while visiting with his 3 older children. He enjoys working with his Joint Chiropractic Team in New Braunfels, TX and meeting new patients every day.
