The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is helping patients get out of pain in natural and least invasive methods allowing them to live a better quality of life. I am an outdoor enthusiast doing all things in nature (hiking, swimming, kayaking, white water rafting, fishing, enjoying both the beach and mountain life.) I have an extensive rock and gemstone collection. Have been in a committed and loving relationship for over a year now and I am looking forward to what the future holds. Sole provider of three dogs - first is a mutt (English pointer/setter and lab/dachshund mix), second is a Pitbull, third is a goldendoodle (the biggest of handfuls). The one thing that I must have in the fridge is a creamer because coffee is a staple in the house.
The four people I would choose for the perfect dinner party are Nichola Tesla, Keanu Reeves, Jim Carrey, and Morgan Freeman. I can only imagine the philosophical conversations that would stem from this combination, plus good humor to boot.
The coolest thing I've ever done is hard to choose between ziplining in the Tennessee mountains, white water rafting on the Youghiogheny River in Pennsylvania. The views on the ziplines going from one mountain top to another were unbelievable and happened to be during the 2017 total solar eclipse. And taking on the white-water rapids is not only a huge workout but a major adrenaline rush (word to the wise, listen to the guides!).
Dr. Peter Rohan is a NoVa native who was born and raised in Manassas, VA. He completed his undergrad courses at Ave Maria University in Naples, FL, where he graduated in 2017. Afterwards he pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Daytona Beach where he graduated in 2020. After he graduated, he worked in Boca Raton FL, Naples FL, Rocky Mount VA, and Centreville VA. He officially joined The Joint family in April of 2024.
Dr. Peter states that the best thing about the chiropractic field is giving patients a choice for spinal pain and neurological conditions that doesn't involve drugs or surgery. He likes to spend his free time playing the guitar, fishing, and golfing, and spending time with his wife Deirdre and their two sons together. Dr. Peter fridge staple is habanero, he says that he must have it to put it on everything. “If I could have four people at a dinner party I would choose Abraham Lincoln, John Wilkes Booth, JFK, and Lee Harvey Oswald”
When asked about one of the coolest things he’s ever done he stated “The coolest thing I believe I’ve done is go on a Mission trip to Calcutta, India. It was cool because it showed me a completely different world other than the one, I am inundated with in America.”
Dr. Christian Barresi, D.C. was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. He attended Binghamton. University, where he earned degrees in biology and history. After taking a gap year to try new things, he attended Life University where he earned his doctorate in chiropractic. While at Life University, Dr. Christian especially enjoyed learning extremity adjusting, tonal chiropractic, and prenatal/pediatric care. He holds certifications in Webster Technique and Torque Release Technique. He went on to practice family chiropractic in San Francisco, CA before deciding to move back to the East Coast with his partner, Dr. Laura, whom he met at chiropractic school. Dr. Christian joined The Joint in August of 2023. Dr. Christian says the best thing about being a chiropractor is “connecting with everyone who comes into the office and using those connections to deliver more precise and appropriate adjustments, allowing all his patients to adapt, heal, and grow.” In his spare time, he enjoys running, weightlifting, reading, spending time with family, and learning new chiropractic approaches.

The one thing in Dr. Christian’s refrigerator that he cannot do without is sauerkraut. His perfect dinner party would include Nikola Tesla, Marcus Aurelius, Alan Watts, Aristotle, and Bruce Lipton because “the gathering of all these great minds would make for the most interesting discussion of science, philosophy, and life.”
The coolest thing he has ever done was study abroad in Florence, Italy, where he took classes in wine, cuisine, and Florentine history, and traveled to the Amalfi Coast, Croatia, and Germany. He hopes to one day live in Italy.
