When I first came in, I was dealing with a frozen shoulder, persistent tennis elbow, and some lower back issues.     Drive-thru with paperwork So my wife and I came by on Saturday. When my wife spoke to someone on the phone, they said it would be super easy and quick to come in and get an adjustment/consultation, which is what we were really wanting. When we got there, however, we were told we had to handover our IDs, even though they didn’t need that to literally look at the form and match it to the name we would give them, they’re not even running insurance, so that was really bizarre to hand my drivers license over for something that did not matter. Pretty weird honestly. And then after we had done that we were sent links to our phones to fill out forms that took 20 minutes, but we were under the impression this would be really easy, but that was irritating to just sit there with our child in a stroller for 20 minutes filling out forms we could’ve done well in advance, which we had asked for and got hand-waved aside The consult was less than two minutes before adjustments were made for my wife, and less than three or four minutes before adjustments made on my back and I have serious chronic issues since birth. We are then rushed out to the front desk where we’re getting sold on packages that we are not seeing the value of in our first visit. I hope this place does well in all honesty, there are nice people here, but the processes and systems must change for better engagement with new customers. Take 15 minutes for the consult, there was literally nobody there. Send us the paperwork in advance so we can actually spend time talking with you and we could actually feel a personal connection so we might actually buy something from you. I felt like I went to McDonald’s and had to do paperwork before I got my burger. And I wanted a good burger and I got a dollar menu item.

    UPDATED, 05/08/26. New owner, Dr. Alexander Audi, is easily one of the very best practitioners in the region. When I’m not traveling he’s my go-to chiropractor! He has excellent team members, too. Friendly, competent, professional - just like him! My experience with chiropractic care goes back to 1968, and extends around the world. Dr. Aul is a world-class chiropractor! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been to most chiropractors in this region over the past 20 years, based on either insurance support or our compatibility. Currently using The Joint, Greenbriar. The practice currently has about 4 chiropractors on staff, with 1 or 2 seeing patients Monday through Saturday as walk-ins, no appt required. It's significantly cheaper than any other chiro in the region (except other Joint practices), and provides significantly faster service as well. I've been impressed by the staff's patient care - thoughtful, kind, professional, and competent. No insurance required, but you will find that your cost is usually less than your insurance carrier's co-pay (if you even have chiro coverage). Furthermore, if you sign up for one of the continuing coverage plans, you'll find that it covers you at any Joint in the nation, a great benefit when you're traveling out of state and wake up with a kink in your neck from driving or sleeping in a crummy hotel bed! There are a number of Joint chiropractor practices in this region, so access to treatment is really convenient and close - most within a 20 minute drive from wherever you happen to be on any given day. Still, my favorite is Greenbriar. Everytime I leave there I'm refreshed and feel 2 inches taller! Update, 3/6/2026. Just left after routine adjustment. Left me feeling great! Loosened up my neck, upper back/ribs, and lower back SI joint. Receptionist was very personable and competent, and Dr. Alexander has healing hands. Those are my highest complements!     I have been receiving chiropractic care for more than two years. My first visit was actually in Florida during a work trip when my lower back locked up, and by chance I found The Joint Chiropractic. After that positive experience, I continued my sessions at this branch, including throughout my pregnancy. In the earlier period there were three rotating doctors — two of them were excellent, attentive, and helpful. Unfortunately, one of them was extremely poor: he wouldn’t listen, offered no real treatment, and didn’t communicate at all. I still continued because the other two were very good. After a while, all three doctors left. Since then, the providers have been constantly changing and none of them seem to stay long. Seeing a different chiropractor at every visit and having to explain the same problem from the beginning each time is frustrating, and the quality of the sessions dropped to about 2–3 out of 10. More recently, I met the female doctor who works on Mondays and I really appreciated her approach — she was professional and attentive. However, I ultimately decided to stop my sessions because my issue was not improving and, more importantly, the front desk experience has been very disappointing. The staff member there has been consistently unprofessional and careless, which made the overall experience unpleasant. When I first started, this location was a solid 7–8/10 for me. Now it is unfortunately 1–2/10. I don’t know if other locations are managed this poorly, but this branch has significantly declined.

    The actual adjustments has been good. Explain the contract, establishment of the "home location" not so much. Not saying it was intentional but I feel like I got taken for a ride. UPDATE 7/15/2025: Lowering my rating two stars after receiving a response from the company. I didn't FORGET or MISUNDERSTAND. It should have been pointed out verbally about the HOME clinic and other important fact.     The Joint has been a game-changer for me. For years I appreciated chiropractic, but it was so expensive that I would go for a couple years without it, then have back issues compound until I had a major problem, then go to chiro for a couple months to get it fixed, and repeat. The Joint makes it so affordable I can go for regular maintenance, weekly if I can, to a minimum of monthly. I stay healthy and mobile, and I can get any issues fixed right away. Some of the doctors have different styles, which is actually nice to mix up the type of adjustments. Or you can stick with your favorite if you want. WALK-IN ability is absolutely amazing; I don’t have to schedule, just go when I have time. I can’t stress enough what a worthwhile and high-return investment their affordable monthly program is.     Sad to say the only chiropractor that could really help me at this location is now gone. Since 2023 have been adjusted multiple times a month by Dr Reza. Enough so to prepay 2024 and 2025. Reza has been out since either December or January now. Saw Dr Rizwan in February who was as another reviewer commented, and my body felt bad enough after to skip the next 4 weeks. Then my last visit was with Dr Rehmann. It took 45 minutes to be seen (probably from others also avoiding the new chiropractors days), then despite saying please don’t touch my neck because of cervical instability, he used the activator at the top of my neck which I had not expected and due to fogginess that day did not react quickly enough to decline. It felt like a punch to my skull and was directly into the C1 C2 area that for medical safety reasons should be avoided completely for me. So now it’s been another 2 weeks, I prepaid a full year when Reza was still there, and I have a membership that has become unsafe for me to use.

He is probably the worst chiropractor I have ever seen as it is clear that he is not effective at doing an adjustment or listening to the concerns of the patient.     I stopped in because it was convenient while out running errands (I'm not super local) and because I've been stiff in my joints for a while. I didn't catch the chiropractors name, but he got my joints to move more than they have in a long while, very effectively.     Dr Reza and Dr Rehmann have been top notch. They both have the ability to make significant impacts on problematic areas when I do not so smart things to my body ( thinking I'm younger than I am at the gym or boxing), and their routine care keeps me on point for my demanding hours at work. This review is long over due for them. Also, their front desk team is always super friendly and welcoming. You get the full A+ experience at this location. I have been using The Joint as my main chiropractic care now for 3 years, and this is my main location since moving back to the DMV.     Dr Reza is the best chiropractor I’ve ever been to - he’s the only chiropractor that has been able to fully adjust my neck. Every time I leave his practice my body feels so much better, that I drive 30 minutes out of my way just so that I can get adjusted by him. I travel a lot for work and because of that I get a chance to try different chiropractors all over the country, but Dr Reza is the best of all.     Being an athlete, I didn't realize how much I needed chiropractic care. But finding reasonably priced and high-quality chiropractic care is occasionally difficult. Fortunately, I came across this location, which I am quite grateful for. Dr. Brian made me feel at ease during my adjustment because he was very knowledgeable about sports, friendly, and understanding.     Not all locations are the same. I have been to four other locations but, I have never received better treatment than I did at this location. I was adjusted by the owner of the clinic. He utilized techniques the other locations had not. Within an hour, I noticed a major difference in my body and felt so much relief. I will for sure make this my location of choice moving forward.

    A follow-up on the review. They processed the refund. This is a complaint against the employee Christine. She sold my son a “wellness” program on April 2. So we paid $78 on the day ($29+$49). On May 1, I noted another $49 was charged but didn’t go through as I set restrictions on my son’s card. I called the very next day (May 2) to resolve and tried to cancel this recurring charge, but Christine told me I could not cancel it as it’s a minimum 2 month; even worse, I have to pay for this month before I can even request to cancel it. In her words: “I don’t need to inform you about the 2-month minimum. It’s in the agreement you signed.” Hope the owner can see this, $49 is not a big amount, but to “trick” customers to sign a program and make it very difficult to cancel definitely ruins the trust between a patient and provider.

    Burke location has better chiopractor than Greenbriar office. It seems to me on my case, Greenbriar's chiopractors try to get it fast over with for each patient because they always have long line waiting for them while chiopractors at Burke take time to work with you. The main reason for me writing this review is this: - called to discontinue my membership 1 day before the last day of contract. The front desk lady said too late for me to cancel it. I told her the last day of contract is tomorrow, why late? No answer for that question, she then told me that I have to do it in person. - I came in person at Greenbriar location, asked to cancel my membership. I was told that I have to do that with Burke office because I opened my membership from there. That means: even your membership is with The Joint and can go to different location to get your qualified and paid service (using same membership) but when it comes to membership cancellation, their systems of different locations don't work together. ***** So be aware of above things before signing up for membership with The Joints. ***** I personally felt like I am being "scammed". Don't recommend The Joint because with the above issues I ran into even regardless the treatment I received was not too bad, but not the best that I have to stuck with, there are alternative choices in the area.

    My last two adjustments in Fairfax VA were the worst I've had at any location I've been to. Canceled my 'wellness plan' immediately (which they don't make easy). Thanks for the 11 months of moderate QOL improvement, but if I am just playing Russian Roulette with your staff being helpful or hurtful, I don't wanna play anymore.     Repeatedly unprofessional. A few examples: their computer system was down and they refused to treat me even when there was a doctor in the building who was completely capable of treating me. They closed for two weeks and I was “prescribed” one visit per week and I pay a monthly subscription. They refused to give me a partial refund for the month or to give me 2 vouchers (which cost them nothing?). Last example: they will text me when the office closes unexpectedly - great. They closed for snow and didn’t update me. I called 3 times and the automated system said they were opened so I went and there was a hand written note saying they were closed. They constantly waste my time. Two thumbs down.

    I went to visit The Joint Chiropractic on their new patient deal. It was only $29 and with me being military affiliated, it was only $19. I was seen by Dr Rehmann at the location in Greenbriar and we talked a little about my history and gave me the best chiropractic care I've ever had. Service was amazing from the time I walked in until I walked out. I’m going back to see him on Monday. 10/10 recommend!

    I met Dr. Heather accidentally when my back was very painful on a Monday. She heard and understood me. As a woman, it is hard to tell a male doctor some problems. I told Dr. Heather about my pain and she said I needed a pubic bone adjustment but that it would be painful, and it was, but after the adjustment, the pain went away the way she explained it would. Dr. Heather also helped me with my chronic sinus problem, which also fixed my headaches, pressure around my eyes, and pain in the back of my head and neck. In December, when the weather was so cold and windy, my sinus problems became worse. She adjusted me and then she helped open my muscles with her hands. She really did not rush me at all, she sat down in her chair and worked around my entire face and head. We did this three times and the headaches from the cold slowly went away. She is very knowledgeable, listens very well, and she cares about her patients. One evening I showed up at 6.50 pm, 10 minutes before closing. She did not rush the adjustment and a couple of other patients arrived after me and she took care of all of us. She had no obligation to stay in the clinic after 7 pm. She is a very knowledgeable and kind doctor.

    Dr Reza is the absolute best doctor hands down period. A few months ago I suffered from severely bad posture and terrible back and neck pains and pelvis issues as well. During my consultation Dr Reza was very informative personable and professional he made me have hope that my pain would resolve. I would cry ant night because I couldn’t sleep due to my severe pains it was absolutely horrible. After 1 adjustment I felt a significant improvement and was instructed to do my follow ups as instructed by him. I ended up going out of state for 2 months so I had to use the Joint locations in that state and let me tell you those docs could never adjust the way Dr Reza does. Yeah it comes here and there but that’s probably self inflicted as I am retraining myself to sit properly and not be so hard on myself. I’m never going to another doctor!

    The joint was my emergency option to adjust my daughter's ankle for her Spring dance recital only two days before it! only based in the reviews I booked an appointment for her. Dr. Rehman did an excellent job and my daughter could perform very well. A year after, my daughter keep getting her adjustments on regular basis, Dr Reza and Dr Rehman take care of her. There was a minimal line, a doctor available and ready to adjust, and my Joint card is in-hand, and they wouldn’t adjust me because they couldn’t look me up.     I've been here over 15 times, when someone spends several hundred dollars for a full package of adjustments; I don't need to come in and hear your chiropractor argue with me over getting an effective firm adjustment when it's my preferred style; then give me attitude about it which stemmed totally from herself. The older woman who was given to me after waiting, I politely asked if she could do a more firm adjustment as it's my need and preference. She then wanted me to start a debate with her that I wasn't going to waste my energy feeding into, about physics and adjusting bones etc. She then gave me what was objectively the most ineffective/weakest 20 second adjustment and then finished with saying "if u want a specific dr next time then tell them, this is the table they told u go to." And I walked out. I'm not going to sit there and try and argue with a lady for no reason, but my experience will be reflected in the reviews based on what I experienced. I asked when I was seen that if she could not meet my request I was happy to have the other male chiro adjustment as usual. Clearly this struck a nerve with her and it's apparent this was not the first time she had heard something like this from a patient. I'm not going to be coming back to use my remaining session, or again. If your office focused more on actual quality customer service and satisfaction instead of having a chiro argue with a patient about what is or isn't effective vs desired and having an attitude about it, I'd be leaving a different review but this is unacceptable and I can easily find another provider more suited for me.

    While the chiropractor and my adjustment were fine, you must know prior to signing anything that the overall job of this franchise is to sell memberships. A while ago, I was in pain and needed an adjustment prior to traveling. I went here because I thought it would be quick and convenient. I was rushed into signing paper work which was a contract for 2 months minimum. If you wish to cancel you have to go to the location you signed up at. In addition, you cannot get the form to cancel ahead of time. I have requested it by email and they replied that they are 'unable' to email the form. This is a common complaint I have noticed across other websites. If you are curious or are experiencing something similar, just google it! TL;DR: DO NOT sign a contract with this place. DO NOT give them your credit card information.

    I would not recommend this place if you have more than just the occasional pain and need a quick crack. I have had some pretty bad back pain so I chose to come here. A previous chiropractor told me that I had several subluxations and that my spine was collapsing, which I told to the doctor. They told me they would be able to help me. They advertise as being a five minute adjustment which I timed it and it only less than 2 minutes. I also saw someone beside me getting the same exact adjustment that I had been receiving (which afterwards I've noticed several more times). I called the office and asked them "Are the adjustments always 5 minutes and does everyone receive the same adjustment?" The girl on the phone said typically they are 5 minutes but sometimes the doctors will do 10-15 minute sessions depending on the patient. She also said that everyone gets a similar adjustment because most people come in for similar problems. I told her that it seemed like I had problems that a normal person would not be getting seen for and she said maybe a physical therapist would be better for my needs, but like I said, I told them this and they said they could help me. Also, not once did she say that they are less than 5 minutes. I spoke to Dr. Rehmann about all of this and he basically chalked it up to be that a usual chiropractor is all talk so you're still getting the same adjustment time as though you went to see a regular chiropractor. Obviously you cannot stretch 2 minutes out to 30 or 40 minutes with talking. He said sometimes it only takes 2 minutes to correct the problem. I continued coming for the remainder of my two month commitment despite feeling as though it was a waste because it did ease my pain the tiniest bit after getting adjusted. Yesterday I came in and saw Dr. Rehmann as I had been. I told him I would like to no longer have my neck adjusted due to seeing an interview on the news about a girl that was paralyzed after something going wrong with a neck adjustment. Less than a minute later (because the adjustment is only 2 minutes), he adjusted my neck. He immediately said he was sorry but that's just completely not okay. To me, that just seems like he goes into autopilot during the session (probably because everyone gets the same adjustment). I have one session left but will not be returning after this. I just haven't been happy at all with how they run this office. Its $89 a month for 4 visits so you're paying 22.25 for only 2 minutes. They get you to join by saying you get three extra visits if you join right then and there so you feel a bit pressured rather than thinking it through. It would make more sense if they gave you 24 hours. Again, I just wouldn't recommend this place to people that need real treatment. I especially wouldn't recommend the older female doctor because the one time she adjusted me, almost nothing cracked. Dr. Rehmann is nice but I don't feel that it makes up problems I've had with this place.

    I've had back pain for 10 years (whole adult life really) and it was getting pretty unmanageable for the past 2. I was in pain almost every day and was having more depression, anxiety, and stress because I was worried about the pain. I came to the Joint as kind of a last resort before trying to get on some kind of pharmaceutical pain management. I've been coming here for about 2 months, and I am pretty much completely pain free. To be honest, I hadn't realized how much my pain was affecting my life until I found myself able to relax more, have less stress and irritability, and do more with less discomfort. My pain has never been overwhelming and was usually not acute, and it looks like it was mostly stress induced. But it was definitely affecting my life, and I'm grateful to have found this as a sustainable way to manage it long term. My visits are quick and painless, cost is extremely reasonable, sanitation is appropriate, and the staff here are always really nice. Highly, highly recommended.

    The chiropractic service is good but it’s time for a customer service update. If you want to cancel service they require you to physically go to the office to sign a form. It’s the 21st century. I can buy a house without putting physical pen to paper. Figure out the electronic signature game. Not hard.

    Would’ve given it 5 stars but the receptionist was RUDE. Chelsea is her name, not sure how to report her behavior but she has no people skills. I brought my mom (not her first time) and my husband (first time) and she wouldn’t take him because I was unaware of their policy, they don’t take new patients after 6, it was 5:45. I asked if my mom would be seen, she stared blankly at me, as if I spoke a foreign language, I asked a second time and finally she rudely confirmed.

    Starting off the adjustment and the licensed professional were great. It was my first time but I did not feel comfortable at all. There is no privacy for patients. They could not see me but those waiting to be seen could definitely hear me and the doctor's conversation because when I was waiting I could hear others who were being seen. That threw off everything else. Yes the prices are good and he was informative but the lack of privacy should really be dealt with.

We were skeptical at first but decided to give a try and that was a good decision because Dr. Alexander is good as Dr. Rehmann.

    I got my first adjustment here last week. The staff is very friendly and I appreciate the idea of being able to drop in for appointments. The adjustment itself was great, focusing on alining the spine from the lower back up through the neck. They focus on pain areas and develop a plan for you, along with an ice/heat pack for any release pain after your first visit. On the cheaper side, too. Would definitely recommend!

    After just one appointment, I feel a thousand times better. You wouldnt believe the pain I have been in on a daily basis. The doctor was very thorough, maintained a delicate touch, informed me and eased anxiety before making an adjustment, and spoke in easy to understand terms. I was told to expect being sore after my first adjustment in 4 years but I have zero pain. I cant remember the last time I woke up without back or neck pain! I also had my boyfriend go for a visit as well. The funny thing is, with him, he didnt have any pain. Due to the new patient appointments being free, I told him to just go in anyway. He was very, very nervous and hesitant to go. When he woke up the next morning after his appointment, he was surprised at how much of a difference he felt. The other staff was also very helpful, to include the receptionist. She was kind and informative and explained everything very thoroughly. I've recommended the practice to all of my friends and I hope whomever is reading this review just takes a moment to give them a try because it is so, so worth it. Also - the package pricing is so reasonable and if you are a veteran, like myself, they offer discounts!!

    Let me explain why I’m giving such a high review. For 5-6 months I have been experiencing major discomfort in my neck and back. Pain, blurry vision, off balance, headaches, nausea, numbness and tingling in my arms, hands, and legs. Pressure in my head relieved after first visit. For the first time in years I can actually sit with my legs crossed without them falling asleep. My head and my neck feel amazing. That’s only after my first session. I would like to say the front desk staff was very attentive and warming. Dr. Rehmann, thank you for helping me with all my issues. You’re like a savior. I will be going back. I FEEL GREAT!!

    I wrote the following review a week ago about my experience with the substitute doctor. Dr. Rehmann contacted me after he was back the office and convinced me to come back for another visit. Dr. Rehmann was very nice and did adjustments to correct previous adjustments done by the substitute doctor. Now stiffness in my back is getting much better, and the tingling in my hand caused by the stiffness of my back is gone. Although click sound in my neck cause by adjustments is still there, Dr. Rehmann explained that it may take one or two weeks to go away. The work Dr. Rehmann done on my shoulder helps a lot. He is very knowledgeable. update: several weeks later, the clicking sounds in my neck, which were caused by the adjustments, are still with me whenever I turn my head. Quite frustrated. Anyone had this experience? and what did you do to get better? Previous review wrote a week ago: I went to this office after I read many good reviews. This is my first time to have a chiropractice office visit, and I had no other pain/discomfort except for a shoulder discomfort before the visit. But during the visit the doctor there did adjustments to my lower, middle, and upper spine and neck. When I questioned this, he said the shoulder and spine were connected, so he needed to do adjustments to spine. I didn't know if that was a standard procedure or not, but I started to feel discomfort and stiffness in my lower and middle spine where the adjustments were done. One week after the visit, I still have that stiffness and discomfort in the lower and middle parts of my spine, and my shoulder discomfort is still there. I don't dare to go back to have another visit.

    I am very happy with Dr Rehmann. My first time that I was seen a year ago I could hardly walk. Since then I try to see him as often as possible. I bought the monthly package to ensure that I keep up with my back issues. They will never go away but seeing Dr Rehmann on regular basis has been great . Exercises in the pool have also been beneficial. I highly recommend him but be realistic and don't expect miracles overnight. I am a strong believer in Chiropracty..

    There's nothing wrong with this specific location but I do have a problem with the company. I came in March 31st hoping to receive one last session before the month ends. I had one credit left and decided to go in that day. Little did I know, the credit did not go through because I started payment on the 23rd on the previous month and they said I had to pay the regular price for treatment. They did not send me a reminder through email like it said when I read the contract. I was pretty disappointed and I feel cheated out of my last credit. I would have given a solid 5 stars but the company as a whole needs to rethink their month-to-month credit plans. Not everyone can commit to coming in every single week so the least you can do is remind us how many credits we have for the remainder of the month.

    Great doc and it's super convenient with it being a walk-in clinic. I'm a Iraq war veteran with spine problems from my time in the military and require regular chiropractic care. After losing my doctor I had a friend tell me about the place and I'm glad I came, if you do you will be too!

    I found Joint on Google maps after I couldn't find any practice nearby that took my insurance. First, walk-ins are really welcome. I can go in when it fits my schedule. There is no wait time. The convenience and time-saving is refreshing. Dr. Rehmann is always incredibly welcoming and very personable. He is very efficient with communicating his diagnosis and recommendation and providing treatment. His treatment helped completely ease my low back pain and improve physical fitness noticeably.     Not all chiropractors are the same even in a franchise. Depending on what you need you may need to find that doctor with the right touch. Sitting at a desk all day in a stressful work environment generates a tight neck and a stress headache. I need that neck release that not many chiropractors can crack but Dr Rehmann can. I have two other Joint offices near me and I cannot get that relief from them. Dr. Rehmann is through and knowledgeable - never a rush job. After a visit with him, I can physically feel the change in my neck and shoulders - it is a 30 min drive to his office but worth the relief for me. If this is what your looking for then give Dr Rehmann a visit - you'll feel the difference.

    I started going to chiropractors in the late 80's and Dr. Rehmann is without a doubt the best!!! I have chronic neck pain and his gentle but firm hands are able to adjust my neck releasing the tension which in turn releases the pain. If you are looking for a great chiropractor I highly recommend The Joint with Dr. Rehmann.
