He attended Longwood College and James Madison University and later graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Vaughan says the best part about being in the chiropractic field is, “working with my hands and the lifelong learning challenges.”

When Dr. Vaughan is not working he enjoys boating, playing golf, and playing with his dogs. Dr. Vaughan reconnected with his senior prom date at their 30 year class reunion and they have now been married for two years! He has four kids and two golden retrievers named Brady and Surf. He knew chiropractic was his calling after having a couple of sports injuries, his chiropractor was the only one to help. Dr. Vaughan says the coolest thing he has ever done was playing bagpipes with a mass band (multiple departments) at fallen Firefighter’s line of duty death funeral in the pounding snow. He says it was, “So cool learning to play with pipers and drummers you have never met before. Learning the tunes quickly in the morning and playing a couple hours later. Time stood still as the snow fell and the pipes rang out.”

Dr. Charles earned his bachelors of science degree in Science of Human Activities from the Department of Kinesiology/Physical Education at The University of Montreal in Canada, he continued on to earn his Doctorate Degree of Chiropractic at The Life University in GA, USA.

During his career, he was able to help many patients from various disciplines and nothing more rewarding compares to the help he was able to provide to the active and retired veterans. Understanding the traumatic background of their injuries and how important it is to properly assess and construct an effective short-term and sustainable long-term goals for their injuries have helped many of the patients that he have encountered.

On his free time, Dr. Charles enjoys taking road trips with his family and really loves trying great food wherever those trips may lead.

Dr. Charles says that the coolest thing he has ever done was to get hip-checked up against the boards while playing a pick up hockey game against a professional player back in Canada. That’s when he severely injured his lower back which eventually let him to meet a chiropractor for the first time in his life. After a healthy recovery thanks to chiropractic care, he knew then what he had to do for the rest of his life. Never mess around with a professional hockey player and become a chiropractor.

Dr. Conover began his chiropractic career in Santa Clara, CA, and has since worked in Santa Cruz, Las Vegas, and Flagstaff, bringing expert care to countless patients along the way. He finds the most rewarding part of being in chiropractic is the ability to change lives through natural, hands-on healing.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Conover enjoys kayaking, cooking, and gaming. He and his wife, Kelli, share a home filled with energy and love, including their four daughters and four dogs—Ash, Lilo, Bianca, and Loopy. A self-proclaimed milk addict, he considers it a must-have in his fridge.
