I'm not sure of the doctor's name, as he did not introduce himself. During my appointment, I mentioned that I'm an over-the-road truck driver to which the chiropractor literally responded, "That sounds terrible." Not only was I shocked, I found that comment unnecessarily judgmental and unprofessional. I take pride in my work, and I don't expect a healthcare provider to make disparaging remarks about my occupation. I would have appreciated a more respectful and curious response.

The Joint was a 5, but now, expect long wait times, no appointments. They stopped giving out estimated wait times, wait times are over an hour. My fee jumped over 40%. Not cheaper anymore than a regular chiropractor. You will also find that those "packages" are also a scam. They will expire before you use them and they know this. That’s why they have the expiration dates, just another legal scam. Consumer be warned, don't fall for these deceptive business practices.

For the price and service it's great ? I tried other locations as well and I'd give the others a 2/5. You can tell Dr.Rae really cares about his patients well-being. I'm fragile yet my joints and muscles are tight, other locations just push and hurt me with barely any adjustment and I'm on and off the table in less than 2 minutes. Dr.Rae uses different techniques that ACTUALLY adjusts my trouble areas. Still a quick adjustment but 5 minutes of different techniques and effort really make a big difference. Wonderful chiropractor I have no complaints.

After a very disappointing and expensive adjustment at a Chiropractor near Maple Valley where I live, that gave me no relief, I drove all the way to this practice because I know The Joint Chiropractic has excellent Chiropractors. The gentleman who adjusted me is the Chiro who works only on Saturdays here, but I don't remember his name. I was desperate because of a constant tingling in between my shoulder blades, probably caused by a nerve being compressed. He gave me a competent adjustment, and I know he had to work for it because my muscles were locked up like Fort Knox! But he got a lot of good movement in my back and neck and the tingling in my spine has dramatically lessened over the next few days. I'm definitely going back.

I had stiffness in my back and and leg tendons from working as a certified nurse assistant for 2 months and immediately the doctor started working on getting to know the bones of my body, surprisingly his been to my country and knows quite a bit about my country Kenya, my language and different places in kenya that he visited ,he told me this to obviously distract me from panicking .The stiffness I had been feelings for two months was immediately gone,but as advice from the wise man ,I'll keep going for my appointment visits for more alignment, he was kind and offered me ice after everything, more than grateful Dr, definitely the best place to go ,I won't also forget it was my first time and Doctor was so good i wasn't even nervous, I 100% recommend everything was a 10/10.

The front desk is really bad. No experiences, no explanation, no greetings, don't care to the customers. Pay the money, you buy the plan or get the pamphlets. Just hire the robot. At least you can get the greeting.

I visited The Joint Chiropractic in Federal Way today for pain in my hip and back. My regular chiropractor did not open until later in the day and I needed to be seen sooner. My coworker recommended "The Joint Chiropractic" because it is a walk in clinic. I was able to make an initial appt for the morning and left work for the day. I am so happy I went to "The Joint". I was so happy with Dr Rae's treatment and bedside manner. He is friendly, informative and efficient at what he does. I liked how he listened to my concerns- truly listened. He took the time to explain things even though others were waiting. I was actually looking for another chiropractor closer to home and one that worked around my work schedule. I believe I found it! The plus for me is no appts needed and first come first serve concept. I definitely will be seeing Dr Rae in the future..... tomorrow in fact.... but when I need adjustments.

My experience at the clinic was unsatisfactory. Out of my four visits, which I didn’t complete, two were at the clinic. I strongly advise against signing up for wellness programs because they often provide misleading information. The wellness plan clearly states that there are four visits per month, but I was signed up for two months without my knowledge and was subsequently charged for the additional month upfront. Regarding adjustments, the doctor did not listen to my concerns after the first visit. He proceeded to adjust the treatment plan without consulting me or addressing my specific pain points. In conclusion, I recommend that you make your own decisions and experience the clinic without expecting anything specific. Be prepared to be potentially deceived.

I use the joint chiropractic all over Washington and sometimes California and I have to say Dr Rae is the best one. He pays extreme attention to detail on not just neck and spine but extremities as well. He fixed my elbow last year after 3 months of pain with just one visit and is currently treating my shoulder. I can't recommended him enough.

Came to get my back straightened out but the guy ended up putting my back out so severely I was worried I'd have to go to the emergency room! I've experienced many chiropractors over the past decade with my back issues so when I stopped in at the joint for the first time it felt pretty routine for me. However Settling for a clinic that lacks attention to detail and tailored care for unique and specific cases could cost you dearly like it did in me! When I left the joint off federal Way I had lost feeling in feet and hands and had the worst headache I've had in my life! My coordination and overall mechanics where significantly worse..I'm still to this day trying to get my back feeling better from the negligence of the clinic. This style chiropractic may work for many but beware if you have specific needs that may require a more thorough and personalized approach it could cost you everything!

Went to a different “The Joint” facility and it wasn’t a good experience. I was contacted by this facility to make up for my bad experience at a different “the Joint” facility and it’s been the best! This was my first visit to this clinic. I was apprehensive about the walk-in nature of the service, but it was quick and efficient, though as time went by the clinic did get a bit crowded. Even with the crowd the Doctor took the time I needed to be comfortable and answer my questions and complete the treatment without feeling rushed. They don't take insurance, and you pay as you go, purchase a monthly plan or purchase a bulk of visits at a discounted rate. For the quality of treatment I was seeking this is worth it. The front desk was helpful and courteous, and not pushy with the plans. She left it up to me to decide. I will definitely be returning for continuing treatment.

I almost hate leaving this awesome review as I leave a five star review of the very best Chiropractor. What a wonderful adjustment from Dr. Rae provided today. Extremely knowledgeable. Very caring along with explaining how the body reacts to pain and how to adjust correctly. I will be back. We went yesterday for the very last time as we are moving on as we are full time RV’ers . I understand “The joint” is not the best of the best but in a pinch it does the job, usually. I’ve never had to wait over an hour, was told to go back to bed and people after I arrived were adjusted before me. If I didn’t have a migraine I would have went to another location- there was no I’m sorry -sucks to be you - nothing.

The joint is great. The customer service is great, the chiropractors are really good. But sometimes at the Federal way location the way time is long because so many people come to this location. But at least you don’t have to have an appointment and you usually get in pretty quickly. Most of the time.

Love the convenience of not having to set an appt but that can also back fire because the wait can sometimes be long during the weekdays. Dr. Perkes is great but he’s on there on Saturdays.

I drove all the way from University place for this awesome experience. The chiropractor practitioners in this location are skilled , detailed and knowledgeable. They make you feel comfortable. They ask and listen to your concerns. The front office staff are both great. A plus for Dr Rae , who is multilingual. He can communicate in Swahili language native to Kenya.( if you speak Swahili, no translator needed lol) If you are there with a stiff neck ,back, or simply needing an adjustment, visit them and do your body some justice. Your body feels rejuvenated after this experience. This was my second visit and both doctors are amazing. They accept cash or insurance.(great plans)

Once I got to the back, I was explained in detail of what was going on with my back and my body and I was adjusted quickly and I feel 100% better on the first visit. The problem I had I had a 10 o’clock appointment and didn’t get in till 11. Also, the iPads were glitchy and took a while to get signed up. All in all it was a very good experience and I feel amazing and plan on going back for another adjustment on Tuesday and Friday. The price is Amazing. I’m definitely gonna be coming back for the next couple of months to keep getting adjusted so I can get better. I might even do a review on my TikTok account and my Instagram because it comes so highly recommended.

Was seen within 20-30 minutes as a new patient. Front desk lady is so sweet and helpful. The entire office is nice and very clean/organized My chiro made me feel so comfortable with my first adjustment experience (Dr. Darsej). You have to wait about 40 minutes for a 2 minute adjustment. I think they should definitely add more chiropractors so patients don't have to wait as long.

Dr. Rae is the best! I've seen other chiropractors before for chronically inflamed knee, lower back pain, and frozen shoulder. Mobility was difficult and exercises were too painful to sustain. But I've seen the most long lasting improvements since I started seeing Dr. Rae. He's a great chiropractor and very caring doc. Highly recommend his work!

I've never been turned away because the office is too busy, the staff has always been kind and accommodating...Until I came here and it's happened twice. The location in Federal Way, WA is a Genuine Disappointment. They're always sorry...maybe that's the problem. I won't be returning.

I have RA and OA and since I have been going and get adjusted I'm having less problems with the hurting and stiffness . Im walking now pushing a cart in the store and not using the riding cart . He even showed a model of the spine and told me what adjustments need to be corrected. Super professional and super informative. I've been dealing with this pain/discomforts for years. Taking over the counter meds to deal with the pain. Honestly I don't know why I waited so long to do this because I feel a whole lot better.

So this is a walk-in place. They don’t take insurance but their monthly plan equals out to less than my co-pay would have been. Dr. Rae was very quick and knowledgeable. I had been to chiropractors before so I understand how it all works. He didn’t over sell anything. I told him my concerns and he was straight forward and honest. I thought I was going to need more sessions but only Maintain Wellness was suggested so once a week. Very quick session for my first visit and didn’t need X-rays or anything else. I will be going back to the Federal way location.

I came in because I’ve been dealing with some pain in my shoulder and neck. I have major anxiety when it comes to having my neck adjusted from bad experiences in the past. Dr. Rae was very gentle and made me feel comfortable enough to adjust my neck. Also the pain in my shoulder is significantly better. It was only $29 for my first visit! Can’t beat that!

Dr. Rae is skilled in his craft. Extremely knowledgeable, teaches me things about healing I didn’t know. I have seen a few chiropractors and he is the best in my opinion. The concept of this location is great. Cheaper than my copay at a chiropractor that accepts my insurance. I went in with an extremely out of place C4 in my neck pushing at a nerve. Hardly any range of motion. In a couple sessions less than a week my neck is getting back to normal. They did so good I sent my wife in the get adjusted. Keep up the great work! Thank you ??

So I’m not sure how to rate this because I don’t have anything really to compare it to. Apparently I’m all crumpled and bent out of shape. I used to ride a bike a hundred miles a day for a number of years and it has had some side effects. I came in because my back was tight and causing pain. I could hardly stand or get up from a seated position. The first visit helped quite a bit. Each addition visit helped a little bit more. I’m hoping in the long term to get caught up to a healthier level of mobility and function. I wish this was more integrated into other healthcare treatments, nutrition and preventive stuff. Ive been to the hospital for things and they never suggested this and I’m kinda confused. I’ve been to four locations and everyone has been great. It really helps to have offices all over in different city’s and stats because I travel a bit. Im not in a financial place to really be doing this monthly and when I came in initially I was in so much pain I would have agreed to anything. I want to keep this up and not feel guilty practicing self care but I’m not sure if I can till I get a better job.

I thought Dr. Rae did a great job addressing the specific areas of pain or discomfort. He was in great communication with me in regards to what he was doing. I am truly grateful for the excellent treatment I receive every time I visit ! All the staff is professional & kind. The pain in my body has been reduced significantly in only 4 visits ! Taking my pain from a high 10 to a dull 3. Now I just need to remember to do my “ home work” the doctor assigned stretches. Im sure the stretches will get me to 0 quickly ! I almost forgot the price … this is also the most budget friendly program I was able to find. Another important bonus the Facility is spotless! From the front desk to the bathroom every aspect of the clinic is clean ! .

And Dr. Rae and his staff are amazing - taking the time to learn about you, why you are there, what you hope to achieve - and the adjustments are superb. And, with the monthly plan, the cost is truly remarkable. So affordable and so important to not just dealing with pain issues, but improving general health in multiple ways. Both my wife and I are patients, as well as our adult son who lives nearby. Love it!!
