Dr. Patrick McVeigh has been a part of The Joint Chiropractic team since 2014. He started at Renton Landing and is now at our Renton South clinic, but can occasionally be found in our other clinics as well. He is originally from Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York and attended Life Chiropractic College of Chiropractic in Georgia before moving to Washington.
While in school, he was very involved with a group called Spinal Missions and traveled to El Salvador every 6 months to serve the people and provide care to their developing communities. He says this experience and becoming a chiropractor are two things he is most proud of.
Outside of work, Dr. McVeigh loves traveling both locally and internationally, discovering his favorite dishes at new restaurants, and hiking and camping. He loves the beauty and variety in the landscape of the Pacific Northwest saying, “there’s everything from rainforests to mountain ranges to desert.”
A fun fact about Dr. McVeigh is that he can make lobsters stand on their heads! If you’re curious, he has a picture to prove it.
Dr. Muhammad Dalal originally joined The Joint Chiropractic in January 2019 in St. Louis Missouri where he grew up, then moved to Seattle and joined our Washington family in July 2019. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in April 2018.
When asked what his favorite part of being a chiropractor is, he replied, “I love seeing the look on people’s faces when they get up from the table and realize how much better they’re moving. In general, the most rewarding thing about chiropractic care for me is seeing the improvements in function patients have over the course of a treatment plan.”
Outside of work, Dr. Dalal loves hiking, photography, baseball, hockey, and trying out new coffee shops. In fact, one of the big reasons he chose to move out here to the Seattle area is the ease of access to hiking and the outdoors. He says that catching views of Mount Rainier is one of his favorite things about living in the Northwest.
Dr. Dalal says he chose to be a chiropractor because he’s a huge advocate of effective and conservative care. “Chiropractic offered me a way to help people improve their health in order to make a real difference in their lives. Once I realized that, I felt compelled to be a part of this amazing field.”
A fun fact about Dr. Dalal is that he lived on three continents before his 8th birthday: England, Zambia, and the United States.
Dr. Matt attended Elmhurst College where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Physiology. He then attended National University Health Sciences in Chicago to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. He first started with The Joint Chiropractic in Nashville, TN in 2017. He and his wife had always wanted to move west, and in 2019 they came to Washington where she got a fellowship as a Speech Language Pathologist and he joined the Washington Joint Chiropractic family.
He chose to become a chiropractor because he’s always been interested in non-invasive treatments to help with quality of life. When asked about his favorite part of being a chiropractor, Dr. Matt said he loves helping people feel and live better.
Outside of work, he loves exploring the Pacific Northwest through hiking and camping trips, playing soccer, and walking along Alki Beach with his wife. He loves living up here because there are lots of trails for hiking and Seattle is such a diverse place with lots to offer.
Dr. Matt says he is most proud of becoming a chiropractic doctor. In his words, “That wasn’t easy.”
A couple fun facts about Dr. Matt is that he moved to the United States from Krakow, Poland in 2005 and he can roll his tongue.
