Dr. Andrew Messerschmitt, D.C., was born and raised in Santa Rosa, Ca. He received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology at California State University, Chico. Later he graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, Ca. and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2018.
Dr. Andrew’s interest in chiropractic began accidentally as a child, after witnessing the instant relief his dad would experience when he would “crack” his dad’s fingers and toes after work, and was hooked ever since.
Dr. Andrew joined The Joint Chiropractic’s family of local healthcare providers in 2020 at the Joint Chiropractic’s Santa Rosa, Ca. location, but after some time back in his home town he got the call of the wild and decided to move up to the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Drew’s favorite thing about the profession is “educating about the importance of chiropractic care and its specific need to each individual, and most importantly witnessing the instant gratification and improvement in people's quality of life”.
Dr. Andrew enjoys working out, wake surfing, snowboarding, and hanging out with his close friends and family. The one thing he must always have in his fridge is hot sauce. The coolest thing he has ever done was backpacking through Europe for a month. His ideal dinner party would include eating pizza with Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, and John Candy.
Dr. Jason Troy, D.C., became part of The Joint Chiropractic in 2021 when he began serving residents in the Edmond, Oklahoma area. Dr. Jason Troy, D.C., moved to Coeur D’Alene, Idaho in the spring of 2022 and joined the DiGiuseppe Joint team. He continues to take joy in treating chiropractic patients in Spokane, Washington.
“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is watching the joy on patients’ faces as they discover that their pain is temporary, along with finding that activities that would previously be difficult or impossible are now able to be accomplished smoothly,” he says.
“Another thing that’s gratifying is being a resource to patients for advice on exercises, activities, or ergonomics. It is wonderful to contribute knowledge that allows patients to have easier and more successful day-to-day lives.”
Dr. Jason, as his patients call him, enjoys his spare time playing board games, singing karaoke, and playing with his dog, Mona.
A product of Oklahoma City, he was a Sooner who received his bachelor’s degree in zoology before getting his doctorate of chiropractic from Logan University in Chesterfield, Mo. “I became interested in chiropractic after spending time working as an emergency medical technician,” Dr. Jason says. “Chiropractic showed me a way to help serve my community and improve people’s lives without the need for debilitating, lifelong medication prescriptions like opioids.”
He put his skills to use, for example, by helping an older patient develop an exercise plan that allowed her to work out without injuring her knees or hips, something that people often don’t associate with chiropractors. “It was fun working with them and discovering new ways to get them to move while preserving already damaged joints,” he says.
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Jason says the one thing he always keeps stocked in his kitchen is cajun seasoning: “No matter what, even if my cooking is terrible, I can always make it edible with enough cajun seasoning.”
My name is Dr. Sterling Gunnar Montgomery, DC, I was born in the South Bay Area in California raised by Pacific Northwest roots. I have been an athlete all my life and pride myself to being not only a leader on and off the field, but a great team player.
I was fortunate to win a Semi Pro Football National Championship as the youngest player in the league at 19 years of age. The pursuit of chiropractic started after I wrote a paper in my freshman year of high school interviewing someone with a career that I thought I might be interested in.
Through all of my education I have held a 3.85 GPA overall. I was honored to be in the second youngest age bracket to enroll and graduate in Palmer College of Chiropractic's 125-year history.
Over the last 3 years, I worked for the largest privately owned air filtration distributorship in the United States as an Ergonomic Specialist and Health Advisor. I have Recently relocated with my family to the Spokane area of Washington State. We all look forward to having a positive impact in this community for generations to come.
Relentless loyalty is one standard I set for myself in everyday life, which shows in regards to chiropractic as it has been a long 13 ½ year commitment so far. With the genuine burning desire to continue to learn and grow, as a person as well as a young doctor, it is hard to deny my overall passion to help others anyway possible!
