Born in Chicago and raised in the Houston area, Mr. Sirotka attended LSU where he had an impactful college career. With three appearances to the College World Series highlighted as Mr. Sirotka led LSU to the National Championship in 1991 and 1993. Drafted by The Chicago White Sox in 1993 Mr. Sirotka enjoyed a long and impressive professional career with highlights including Player of the Year in 2000 for the American League Central division champions The Chicago White Sox. In addition to the White Sox, Mr. Sirotka was also with the Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago Cubs. When a shoulder injury and three subsequent surgeries followed, Mr. Sirotka knew he would be unable to play as the elite athlete he had been and retired in 2004.

Since retiring from professional baseball in 2004, Mr. Sirotka owned and managed several real estate ventures in Arizona and British Columbia. With the downturn in the real estate market Mr. Sirotka began looking for a new business opportunities. After looking at several businesses, The Joint was introduced to him by a business associate. Mr. Sirotka thought the business model was impressive and very forward thinking. As a patient of traditional chiropractic care he immediately saw the benefits of flexible hours and convienence to the patient. "I have been in chiropractic clinics and waited for what seemed like forever" states Mr. Sirotka, "The Joint eliminates all that for the patient in need of an adjustment."

As an athlete Mr. Sirotka always knew the benefits of chiropractic care but it was not until injury and rehab that he became a dedicated client to all its benefits.

Mr. Sirotka states, "Since leaving professional baseball, chiropractic care has become a part of my wellness regimen. A lifetime of sports on one's body can take its toll and the healing powers of chiropractic care have been amazing."

Mr. Sirotka's location will be in Phoenix at Cactus and Tatum Blvd in the Sprouts Shopping Center with a anticipated opening date of January 2011.
