The Joint Corp., an Arizona-based franchisor of chiropractic clinics will open its first Idaho location in The Village at Meridian. A grand opening is planned for mid-April.

The clinic is owned and operated by Dave Armstrong, his daughter Britney Stokes and her husband Seth, and partner Travis Eaton. Clint Low will provide chiropractic care for patients.

Armstrong and Eaton are owners of Massage Envy Spa locations in Meridian and Nampa. The Joint Corp. is run by the founder and former CEO of Massage Envy, which is partly why Armstrong and Eaton were attracted to the chiropractic company.

"Chiropractic care has always played an important role in my family, and The Joint focus on wellness care, which means preventative," Britney Stokes said in a press release.

The clinic does not require appointments. The Joint Corp. has 372 clinics open or in development in 24 states.

• Hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday
