Arizona health care companies made a dent on the 'Inc.' 500 list

The five fastest growing health companies that made the Inc. 5000 list fared well in terms of revenue growth during the past three years. The companies were ranked based on revenue growth between 2009 and 2012.

Here's a look at the top companies:

No. 44: The Joint, Scottsdale chiropractic and health group, $7.4 million in revenue, up 5,962 percent

No. 463: GlobalMed, Scottsdale health technology company, $32.2 million in revenue, up 1,000 percent

No. 1008: Matrix Medical Network, Scottsdale care management business, $115.8M in revenue, up 427 percent

No. 1105: Avella, Phoenix specialty pharmacy, $493.9 million in revenue, up 379 percent

No. 1337: DreamBrands, Phoenix personal products developer, $4.4 million in revenue, up 302 percent
