The Joint Chiropractic Rallies Patients in Support of Children’s Health Fund
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Driven by the desire to make an impact on the quality of life, The Joint Chiropractic recently spearheaded a campaign that combined the gratitude for chiropractic care with philanthropy.
Inspired by the holidays, patients were encouraged to submit comments on any of the brand’s social pages on why they are thankful for their doctor at The Joint Chiropractic. In exchange for every entry received, The Joint made a donation of five dollars to the Children’s Health Fund, a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to ensuring high quality healthcare to America’s most disadvantaged children.
The month-long #GiveThanksGiveBack campaign resulted in a record 3,403 comments and a total donation of $17,015 to Children’s Health Fund.
“The success and impact of the #GiveThanksGiveBack campaign stems from the patients who chose to share their positive experiences with our doctors in support of the Children’s Health Fund,” said Peter Holt, CEO of The Joint Chiropractic. “Not everyone has the luxury of access to quality healthcare – our nation’s homeless and low-income children and their families are most at risk. Our patients understand the importance of accessible health care, and it is because of them that our donation to the Children’s Health Fund may provide more children with the health care access they so desperately need.”

About Children's Health Fund
Founded in 1987 by Dr. Irwin Redlener, singer/ song-writer Paul Simon and program designer Karen Redlener, Children's Health Fund's mission is to bring health care directly to homeless and low-income children and their families. CHF accomplishes this mission by expanding access to comprehensive and innovative primary care; reducing “health barriers to learning” that interfere with child development and school performance; responding to the needs of vulnerable children impacted by major public health crises; and improving the health and well-being of children through advocacy and public education efforts. Over the past 30 years, CHF has provided more than 4 million health care encounters, often in places where doctors and health care providers are in short supply.
