Originally from Nora Springs, Iowa, Dr. Justin grew up on a farm and first discovered the impact of chiropractic care in high school after a back injury during baseball. The fast, effective relief he received inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others heal and stay active.

Dr. Justin studied at Waldorf College and Iowa State University before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. He began practicing in Hopkins, Minnesota in 2002, and soon after followed his passion for sunshine and outdoor living to Arizona. Since 2003, he has proudly served patients across the Phoenix Valley.

With experience in both private practice and multidisciplinary clinical settings, Dr. Justin is one of only three chiropractors in Arizona to hold a Diplomate in Physical Rehabilitation. His background includes performing independent medical examinations for personal injury cases and being credentialed to perform Manipulation Under Anesthesia in multiple surgical centers. As someone who has suffered from chronic migraines for over 25 years, finding relief has felt nearly impossible. For many years I was experiencing 15+ migraines a month. Over the years, I have tried just about everything—countless medications, Botox (which unfortunately resulted in an ambulance ride and hospitalization), physical therapy, massage therapy, and even cervical spine surgery. Despite all of those treatments and procedures, nothing truly made a significant difference. After removing gluten from my diet, I was able to reduce my migraines to about 8 times a month, but as a mom of four, even a couple migraines a week was incredibly difficult to manage. Frequent migraines make it hard to function, care for your family, and truly enjoy life. About a month and a half ago, I started getting adjusted regularly at The Joint Chiropractic in Anthem. I haven't changed anything else in my daily routine, yet the improvement has been remarkable. Before starting care, I was still averaging about 2 migraines a week. Since being adjusted regularly, I've had maybe 2 migraines a month total, and they lasted only about half a day instead of my usual day and a half. The biggest proof for me was a recent trip to Florida. Normally, travel, lack of sleep, weather, and changes in routine are major migraine triggers, and I almost always end up with worse migraines when I travel. This time, I didn't have a single migraine the entire week!! Beyond the results, the team at The Joint Chiropractic in Anthem has been incredible. Dr. Justin is extremely knowledgeable and always takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. He looks at the whole picture. I never feel rushed, and his attentiveness has helped me feel confident in my care. Dr. Randy has also been fantastic, providing excellent care and taking the time to explain things in a way that is easy to understand. His humor can brighten anyone’s day. Their combined expertise has made a huge difference in my experience. Rhonda is one of the friendliest, most personable people you'll meet—she genuinely brightens my day every time I see her. And Karen is an amazing Wellness Coordinator who always makes me feel welcome. I love her bubbly personality. The staff is caring, professional, and truly invested in their patients. When I first came in I was about an inch and a half off between my right and my left leg. I've since straightened out thanks to Dr. Justin and Dr. Randy. They've also adjusted my wife and kids, and they (the wife and kids) all have glowing reviews! Great value as well. If you sign up for monthly subscription it's on $79 for 4 adjust a month and $20 per if you need more. I like to cycle on and off chiropractic care to maintain alignment, and I've definitely found my new go to place.

I was looking for a new chiropractor in my area several months ago for chronic neck pain. I couldn't find any place that could get me in on short notice. My husband (Randy Hill) and I are visiting from California. While he's been here helping a friend hanging doors and painting he was experiencing pain in his lower back going down into his leg. What can I say! Dr. Justin and his wonderful team are amazing. I have been coming in to help with my TMJ issues and get the routine adjustment. Little did I know you could get your ears adjusted as well. I had made mention of getting vertigo at times and he did a quick ear adjustments on both sides. Thinking nothing of it, I had a trip to Vegas and went through different changes in elevation and as such, my ears get plugged. I haven't been able to clear out my left ear (where I get my vertigo from) in two years. I even went to two different ENT's who said I needed surgery to get proper air flow to reach my ear. Nope! I just needed a ear adjustment. I was pleasantly surprised (to say the least) when I went to "pop" my ears and both of them cleared! Huge relief! Not only have I found an amazing chiropractor that adjusts my jaw manually instead of just giving it a short massage like most do, but he has helped with my tinnitus and ear issues. When pains are all in your head it can affect your daily life and having fybromyalgia, getting any relief is a win! Go see him. You won't regret it. Thank you guys for always being a bright light and a place to find comfort when I need relief. I'll always be a loyal customer ❤️

My experience with The Joint Chiropractic in Anthem has been amazing from the start. Such friendly staff and was of access to appointments! I went in for the introductory assessment and have never left. Dr. Justin did an amazing job figuring out what my body needed and came up with a plan to get me the much needed help to ease my chronic headaches. I set up my treatment plan with Amanda at the front desk, she and Karen are all smiles! And the monthly plan is the best bang for your buck if you need the help like I did! I try to get in twice a week and Dr. Justin’s treatments have been a god-send. My headaches have lessened severely and I feel better overall! When I brought up some issues of new vertigo and nausea following treatments, Dr. Justin took the time to talk me through why it might be happening, we came up with a plan for me to try at home and when that wasn’t working either he added an additional adjustment method and that has stopped the issues completely. I am so grateful to The Joints staff and so thankful for Dr. Justin’s service to those in need of a better way to manage or get rid of pain without western medicine! You rock!!

I would highly recommend Justin! I was heading down the road of having an MRI, physical therapy, etc. I was in constant pain with relief only coming from medications. I showed up to the office 10 minutes before their lunch and they took me in as a new patient! They didn't mind waiting at all until I finished all the paperwork and was adjusted by Dr Justin! I suffer from severe migraines often as well as hip pain. My pain has gone down dramatically within only a few visits. This is my first time ever having to go to a chiropractor, and I'm so glad I chose this location! Me and my family have been seeing Dr. Justin for a few years while he was at the San Tan Village location, so we were not super excited to see him move to Anthem location. However, we do know this move is a blessing for him and his family and for that we are very happy for them. That said, I have been seeing a chiropractor for over 40+ years and Dr Justin is without a doubt one of, if not the best I have been to. I am not a small guy so adjusting me is no easy task. Dr Justin is the best. He is an amazing chiropractor that always know how to get my body to move and it isn't easy for most chiros. I've been going to the Joint in Gilbert for a few years now. I used to see a chiropractor office but it always required an appointment and availability was never convenient. When I found Dr. Justin at The Joint, I was in serious pain for a dislocated rib. Dr. Justin performed my adjustment and I felt better right away. The anthem location is not great. Been a member since 2017 or 18, waited for 45 minutes to be told. I needed to fill out new paperwork. There were only three patients in front of me when I waited. They wanted me to wait for the next patient. They came in after me while I filled out new paperwork. That should’ve been offered and asked of me during my 45 minute wait I will never attend this joint location again and would recommend going to any other location over them. If zero, stars was an option, that’s what they would get. Even worse they still charged against my plan even though I did not get seen.

I had to cancel my membership after only 2 months. I would of cancelled after the 1st month but I had to stay for 2 months to get the special. Very BASIC adjustments and ZERO modalities offered here. Not the “personalized” care I heard about. If you just want a simple neck crack I’d go here, but if you have any serious neck or back issue I’d look elsewhere as you will not get better by going here. Some of the chiropractors were downright rude, some incompetent and some just plain terrible at “trying” to adjust my neck & hips. Wasted several of my sessions as they couldn’t even adjust me properly (have not had any issues at other chiropractors in over 30 years).

Pulled a back muscle, never been to a chiropractor. Several friends suggested it. I went in showed the doctor what's going on. He trouble shot me, told me what happened. Gave me a good cracking and a stretch. Gave me a plan to move forward. Very pleased with the time you took and the information he gave. About 75% better when I left and was not worried about making it worse explain the difference of being hurt and injured. Very pleased with these guys would highly recommend them.

I like the walk in without an appointment concept. They ask for 45.00 for returning patients, or you can pick a plan that suits you. Unfortunately, with my pain I had spent money needed for other stuff. The Doctor asked that for the next 6 days I come in. For me with 0 in my bank account and no credit cards that isn't happening. Picking a plan isn't going to work for me either. To be fair I did look around for someone in ny price range. Other than my personal problems they are really good.

My first adjustment was amazingly effective and I'm a difficult patient to work on because my muscles are so tight. I've been going to chiropractors for 30 years and this probably the best. No waiting when I walked in and nice staff. My only regret is the chiropractor was just filling in and he usually works from a location that's 1 1/2 hours from my house.

I have been going once a week for the past three weeks and I am feeling so much better! I enrolled in their Wellness Plan and the adjustments have relieved several years of neck and shoulder pain and stress. I have more mobility without pain and noticed less headaches throughout the week. The staff is very nice and professional. The office (Anthem) is clean and open. No appts needed, they open early, close late, and closed weekends. I never had to wait longer than 5 minutes from checking in... and the actual adjustment is quick but never rushed. I would recommend!

I recommend you carefully look at what you sign when you go there! When I visited them for the first time, I was handed several forms that I was told to read & sign. I read them & in two places there was a place to sign agreeing that I was ok with what the Dr discussed with me. I hadn't seen the Dr. yet so I left them blank & told the girl at the desk that I had done so & why. When I finally saw the Dr he said unless I signed the paperwork we were done. Obviously I wasn't going to sign saying I agreed to something that had not been discussed yet so I left and will never go back.
