For Dr. Cady Logan, D.C., becoming a chiropractor was natural and best-suited for her. She is an Arizona native and has been going to a chiropractor since she was only 2 weeks old. Dr. Lisk was born and raised in Japan. She first learned about chiropractic when she moved to the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii, where her aunt and uncle practice chiropractic. She had chronic knee pain which had bothered her for years, caused by prior work. She had sought many healthcare professionals but nobody could figure out how to help her. Dr. Lisk's uncle performed a chiropractic adjustment, and her pain was gone immediately after the adjustment. She thought it was a miracle, and at that moment, she had decided to become a chiropractor. She moved to the US, and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.
Upon receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Lisk has learned to serve the specific needs of patients from infants to eldery. Her passion for chiropractic has never stopped but only continues growing through serving patients. She truly enjoys helping her patient's improve their total wellness and being able to do what they enjoy through chiropractic.
When Dr. Lisk isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Juston and her dog Ella. You may find them out hiking, traveling, or trying out new local restaurants.
I grew up in McHenry, Illinois, which is about 2 and a half hours north of Chicago.
I currently live in Mesa, AZ after spending 3 years in St. Louis, Missouri for chiropractic school. I attended Millikin University in IL and graduated with a BS in Biology and minored in Nutrition. At Millikin I was a member of Tri Delta at Millikin and played collegiate soccer for 2 years!
I also became certified as a personal trainer in 2019 and still work with people online to help them achieve healthy lifestyles!
In my spare time I enjoy spending time weight lifting, hiking, and trying out new restaurants with friends! My favorite movie series is Jurassic Park. My favorite sports teams are the Bears, Blackhawks, and the Cubbies! I’m the oldest of 3 girls in my family, and my parents reside in IL!
I became a chiropractor because I suffered from sports related injuries and being adjusted always made me feel my best. My goal as a chiropractor is to allow my patients to get back to living to their fullest potential. I love when patients come back smiling and telling me they were able to do something new after care!
Dr. Austin Meindertsma spent the bulk of his educational career studying Gonstead, Case management and expanding his ability to assess and analyze patient from different points of view to deliver the best treatment possible. He joined The Joint in 2019 originally in Dallas, TX shortly after graduating from Parker University in 2018; and has transferred to the Joint Circle C to be closer to longtime friends and family.
He has been studying the human body as whole since he was 18 starting his journey as a Personal trainer and finalizing his studies with a Doctorate in Chiropractic, and the best thing he has found about Chiropractic is that it works! Especially with plenty of people and cases where they have been everywhere and anywhere with no real result or reprieve from their symptoms and conditions. The other great thing about this form of medicine is that it sets the body up as a whole to be able to what it needs and wants to do!
Dr. Austin really enjoys learning more about different techniques and case management tactics in his spare time, along with perfecting BBQ and building long lasting memories with long lasting friends and family. He is currently engaged to Dr. Constance Smith (who also works at The Joint!) and they have a growing family that currently consists of them, an English bulldog named Beefy, and a Red Eared Slider named Scarlett Persephonnie Jeankinns!
The coolest thing Dr. Austin has done so far is having multiple patients say, “You have saved me from surgery!” He feels so much joy in being able to help people get back to living the way they want to.
Dr. Austin’s perfect dinner party would consist of Tupac, Elvis, Jesus and Freddie Mercury. That way he can have a lot of questions answered while having a wide spectrum of entertainment!
