After graduating from Arizona State with a degree in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition, I knew I wanted to continue my education in the health field. I considered nursing school, physical therapy and osteopathic medicine but nothing was in line with my philosophy of health and healing. As fate would have it, while working out, I injured my back and was in desperate need of relief. I found myself in a chiropractic office and to my amazement was up and walking within a couple of visits. My chiropractor shared with me the essence of the chiropractic philosophy was to enable the body’s own innate intelligence to heal itself...no drugs, no side effects, no surgery. Finally, I had found a health system consistent with my philosophy!

Shortly after that, I found myself back in Iowa at Palmer Chiropractic College. Four years of intensive study and an externship trip to Nepal left me with a deep passion and commitment towards helping others in restoring their health.

My vision is to provide life-enhancing chiropractic care to all ages, in an environment which encourages people to embrace greater life expression and continued well-being.

My philosophy is based on the concept that a proactive approach is more sensible than a reactive one. I want to inspire and lead people to be healthier, better human beings, not because they are afraid of, or trying to avoid getting sick, but because they want to be healthy, well and want to get the most out of life!

Dr. Nick Lehnert, D.C. was born and raised in Yorba Linda, CA where he played college volleyball before transferring to Arizona State University to finish his Bachelor of Science degree. As a student athlete, Dr. Lehnert found he was continually having aches and pains he could not rid. He was suggested to turn to chiropractic care, a natural and holistic form of therapy, and ultimately decided chiropractic was the career path for him. Dr. Lehnert then received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2010 from Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California. After graduation Dr. Lehnert worked in private practice treating high school athletes before he returned to Arizona where he joined The Joint Chiropractic Glendale in 2015 and our Gilbert location in 2024.

Through his professional journey, Dr. Lehnert has learned to treat a range of patients, symptoms and ailments. Infants, grandparents, athletes or 9-5ers, Dr. Lehnert can adjust it all. Dr. Dylan Ahern was born and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He’s one of 4 children, having two older brothers and a younger sister, who also lives here in the Southeast Valley. His oldest brother is also a chiropractor back in Michigan.

Dr. Ahern grew up playing a host of sports; baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, and football. He furthered his baseball career playing in college as well as coaching summer baseball and working as a baseball instructor here in Arizona.

At a young age, Dr. Dylan experienced severe asthma attacks. Through chiropractic, he found that getting adjusted dramatically improved his breathing as well as his overall health and wellness. It was at that moment he knew he had found the career path he wanted to pursue.

Dr. Dylan graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2019. He practiced with his brother in Michigan for several years before moving to Arizona to open his own practice. He joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2023. He has served people of all ages at The Joint in Gilbert, AZ.

He is passionate about educating patients about the benefits of chiropractic care for conditions like sciatica, neck pain, headaches and the same types of childhood conditions that once caused him to suffer. He has helped athletes and weekend warriors, alike, perform better through chiropractic care.
