Microwave Buttered Popcorn
The biggest problem with this food is the container it comes in. The bag that holds the microwavable popcorn is lined with dangerous cancer-causing chemicals. When heated, these chemicals seep into the popcorn, which then goes right into your system as you eat it. Studies have found that this popcorn has caused tumors, infertility, liver cancer, testicular cancer and pancreatic cancer.
We all know that soda is high in sugar and other chemicals that are terrible for the waistline, but most people are unaware of its link to cancer as well. The food coloring, high fructose corn syrup, preservatives and almost impossible to pronounce chemicals all mix together to form an acidic liquid that harms your bones and awakens cancer cells. This shouldn’t be something you should partake in on even the most special of occasions.
Refined White Flour
First of all, anything refined has no business being anywhere in your kitchen, especially white flour. Unfortunately, a ton of food products include refined white flour, making it especially hard to avoid. It is especially harmful for women, with studies showing that the regular consumption of this ingredient caused an increase in breast cancer.
Farm Raised Salmon
This is a type of fish that you do not want to add to your diet. Farm raised salmon are fed a diet made up of chemicals, pesticides and antibiotics, all which are considered carcinogenic. The conditions in which they live in are also incredibly inhumane, packing the fish together in a way that causes disease to run rampant. They are also incredibly high in mercury, which should not be a part of any diet.
