Meet The Doctors
Dr. Kalish graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Kalish has been practicing since 2006 and relates to his patients with a strong sensitivity to their needs and concerns resulting in excellent patient care. Everyday he looks forward to helping improve his patients lives by treating their pain through chiropractic and teaching them how to live a life of wellness. Dr. Kalish is married, recently experienced the joy of adding a beautiful daughter to the family and loves the Arizona lifestyle. In his spare time he enjoys hiking and the outdoors, cooking with his wife, and spending time with his daughter.
My name is Dr. Maralina Serio, and I am an associate chiropractor who is new to Arizona. I was raised in several of the Chicago suburbs, and after deciding I wanted to explore for my undergraduate degree, I landed in Indianola, IA where I attended Simpson College and graduated in 2015. I apparently loved Iowa enough to stay for more school, and cut my travel to visit family in half, when I attended the main campus of Palmer College of Chiropractic Davenport! In October of 2019 I graduated from PCC and got a license for Arizona and Illinois but stayed in the Quad Cities where I worked in Moline for some time. In June of 2022 I joined The Joint to help serve the Phoenix area while soaking up more sun than the Midwest has to offer. Being a chiropractor is a fulfilling career that allows me to meet new people and help them live their life with comfort and pleasure. Having been an athlete while I was younger, and in college, Chiropractic also keeps me active and allows me to help be a part of an overall health team. When I am not in the office, I enjoy taking walks and playing with my dogs Optimus Prime and Malcolm. Other hobbies I enjoy include seeing movies with my significant other, trying new food places, crocheting rectangles, and reading books to settle down for the evening or learn something new!
Dr. David Durso was born and raised in Orange, CT. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. He was a Chiropractic Associate Doctor for 3 years until he started his own family wellness practice in 2012.
After Covid 19 and 9 years of private practice, Dr. Durso decided to close his practice and move to the great state of Arizona. He has a wife of 11 years Gina and 3 beautiful children: Marc, Talia and Luca. Dr. Durso and his family are looking forward to a new start and new adventures.
Why I enjoy practicing Chiropractic care is that you are helping someone gain the ability to improve their quality of life at any age. You get to build connections and relationships with people and that’s what life is all about….Giving.
In his spare time, you can find Dr. Durso at the hockey rink or the soft ball fields watching his kids play competitive sports. He also enjoys working out, reading, and studying functional neurology, and hiking the red rocks in Sedona.
