We are long time members of the Joint. However, this location is quite interesting. They are seldom open. And when they are open, pray you get the substitute for the day. The major difference between this locations and others we have gone to is care. Baltimore office is outstanding and all of the other location we have been to in other state have been an excellent experience. This location, not so much.

I've been a faithful member for many, many years. Unfortunately in the past couple of years, the 7th Ave and McDowell location has unexplicably not answered their phone & when you show up to the office, there's a sign on the door that says they're closed due to short staffing. Every other location I've been to in Arizona doesn't seem to have that problem. Wondering when this will be addressed for customers living in the area.

Hard company to work with apparently you can't cancel a subscription to one of their plans over the phone even though I haven't used it since I set it up. So the location on 7th Ave and McDowell is more than happy for me to call my bank to put a stop payment to future charges. Don't think I'll be useing them ever again.

Every other location I’ve been to has been great. They take time to read past notes, ask how I’m doing based off that, are very attentive to my updates, make sure to work on troubled areas extensively, and answer all questions. The one time I came here, there was no reading of notes, no asking about how I was feeling that day, did an adjustment that took less than a minute, and when I brought up a constant trouble area, implied there wasn’t much to be done. When I mentioned other locations usually work on this spot, then he finally worked on it quickly and that was it. Noticed in another review from two years ago someone else mentioned the same: Bare minimum and out the door, so clearly nothings changed as that was two years ago. Typically good experiences with other places. This place isn’t good. Go to another location.

I’ve been going to chiropractors for years. I went in to get my regular adjustment on upper back, neck and hips, next thing I know the chiropractor was bending my knee and it popped so hard it tore something in my knee, I scream as it felt like 2 ice pucks being jammed into my knee, I’ve never have had any knee problems or haven’t had to have my knees adjusted in any way, I’m currently looking to get a MRI done to see if will need surgery.
After that adjustment my hip is continually way off as pain all the way down my leg.
Currently taking legal action.

My neck is still cracking and my pain still apparent as I write this.
I had an initial visit on Luke AFB where the Dr did such a thorough and fantastic job that I decided continuing with chiropractic services. My second visit was today at the McDowell office (closer to home) where I was seen by Alicia Burnett. Immediately upon entering I was asked to lay down. No questions asked of me. I found that off putting as I was told by the last Dr at Luke that I have a medical issue that would require intensive treatment.
I instead brought up my medical history to her and rather than discussing my treatment she goes into talking about herself and her family.
She continues with the weakest and laziest adjustment imaginable. She used instrumentation on me that felt more like someone flicking the back of your head and called it “magic”. It felt patronizing. After the adjustment was “finished” I was still experiencing back discomfort. I felt completely disappointed.
I couldn’t help but voice my dissatisfaction in that moment and that the previous doctor addressed my headaches and did a pulling my neck method that helped so much. She mentioned that she didn’t do it on me only because some people don’t like it. If she had bothered to ask me any questions before the start of treatment she could have known what worked for me. Expecting patients to advocate for themselves shows an obvious display of carelessness in your profession.
This adjustment was a total letdown and waste of money.
On a less pressing issue, I walked in to the front desk and explained my military status. I brought up a walk in price, expecting to pay the same.
Upon leaving the receptionist gave me a price more than double the amount I brought up. Treatment pricing was never told to me before treatment started.
Will not return.

Dr. Nicole Peyton works magic when it comes to pain relief. There is a huge night and day difference before and after walking into the office. I would highly recommend for anybody thinking about getting adjusted or someone on the fence about seeing a chiropractor.

After a few car accidents my back goes out on me from time to time. Dr. Nicole is like a magical back sorceress. I limped in. 10 minutes later I walked out, pain fee, standing tall, and feeling like a million bucks. It took about 2 or 3 visits to really start feeling relief so I recommend one of their monthly plans. I'm going to keep going for preventative maintenance. They have significantly improved my quality of life. Living with extreme pain on a daily basis is just awful. I am truly grateful for the work they do. Go in today, ask for Dr. Nicole.

Sorry but after being to many chiropractors for adjustment this was by far the worst. I waited 20 minutes for a less then 3 min adjustment. Cracked my neck and gave me one pop on my back. My girlfriend cracks my back better at home.

I had started chiropractic care in March 2018 due to 4 herniated discs. Prior to starting, I had pain throughout my entire back and legs. With the help of Dr. Peter Hughes, I have been able to walk normal and return to normal activity. I have minimal pain these days with continued care. When I first came to The Joint 3 years ago, I had tingling and numbness in my arm and face, probably from pinched nerves from a compressed spine. Now that is 90% gone. I still get 1-2 headaches a week, but where aspirin fails, extra adjustments to my neck/cervical vertebrae seemed to do a better job at getting rid of the headaches. $10 for extra adjustments are worth it. And I don't need as much aspirin, it's easier on other systems.

I seek chiropractic care to balance a weak skeleton, poor ligaments, and chronic pain. I have fibromyalgia and am very overweight so at my age, the body needs as much assistance as possible. Regular maintenance is critical to overall health. I also seek chiropractic care when my back just won't allow me to straighten up without pain. I came to The Joint on 7th Ave and McDowell Rd with a very stiff neck, nerve pain in my back, and pain in lower back. Dr. Pete is friendly, quick, and efficient. I like I can just walk in without an appointment, so its easy to fit in my schedule. It only takes 5-10 min depending on if they are already busy. Lisa, the receptionist, is so friendly and helpful as well. This is a great location if you like or work in the area. I highly recommend this location with Lisa and Dr. Pete.

This helps with the stress I have from work.

I've been going here for few months now, after initially planning to go a few times and then cancel my membership as soon as I could.
That was at least three months ago, and I just brought my wife in to start on a monthly plan last month.
So far, the trio of doctors I've seen has helped finally get my L4/L5 back in place (thanks, Dr. Pike) after over a year of it being out, and I'm moving without pain for the first time in years.
My usual appts are $30-50 per session, so this $60/month for four visits is a steal. I think I went one extra time last month, and was charge a reasonable $10.
Very glad to have access to weekly adjustments while I rebuild my body using yoga, cannabis, chiro, and running.
