Im a mechanic and a driver. My lower back has been messed up for almost 2yrs, causing me to live at about a level 8 of pain. Walking after sitting too long or even getting out of bed was a whole production. Finally went to see a chiropractor: Dr Fish at The Joint. After my 1st visit, he did something my back that took my pain from an 8 down to about a 5, literally that day! Standing up no longer hurt my lower back, so I could stand up straight instead of leaning to the left a little. The pain in my back stopped hurting after maybe 3 steps of getting out o the car instead of literally walking all the way thru the parking to to the store. Huge difference! Whatever i tweaked i my back, he figured it out. It wasnt a muscle, but it affected my muscles. Stretching never worked for more than a few mins to subside the pain, but whatever adjustment he did lasts all day and even when I wake up and walk to the bathroom. No more leaning to the left to help alleviate pain. Even stepping out of the car, my weight doesnt feel like its crushing my lower back, almost causing my legs to give out. Had to be nerves or something out of alignment BAD, but he took the pressure off after 1 visit. I eent again today and literally sat up on my own without Dr Fish pulling me up off the table like last time. I couldn't sit up without pain hitting my lower back and hips, but today, th pain was like a 3 instead of an 8 when I sat up. I'm a believer now, and I'm so anti-medication. I broke down and had to do something because I can't live like this and I'm only 52. I shouldn't be leaning just to alleviate pain. Im an ex-athlete and still have a lotta years left. I gotta take care of myself better instead of muscling thru pain. THANK YOU DR FISH!

I have been coming to the Joint for over a year. Dr.Shah is my chiropractor. If im stiff or have any pain I tell her and she takes care of it. Im always relieved and relaxed when I leave the Joint. I have had bad experiences with other chiropractors, but not here. Im glad I found someone I can trust and that does such amazing job. You can tell she loves her job and really cares for her patients. When Dr.Shah is not there I also go with Dr. Fish. He is also very experienced and knows what areas to target. Generally I have had good experiences at this location, front office has always been welcoming Dr Shah and Fisher have been really nice. Today on the other hand Dr.C can't recall the full name was a just rude. Rude in the sense no bedside manner. Essentially I went in for an adjustment I mentioned I had been in a car accident. I reported no physical injuries but with stress I been tense. He goes"come here" walks me to the front then front office wants me to sign a freeze to my account since according to the policy if u have an open claim they will not treat you. Ok whatever I can understand a policy what bothered me was lack of communication directly from the provider. he offered no direct explanation let front office explain it. Another member walked in Dr bring my belongings and bring the other client back. No other interaction with me. I would of appreciated the policy explained from the provider but apparently he's too good to speak. It's awful really he really made me feel like just a number. Hope this man gets some communication training.

I found The Joint via Google maps and decided to try them and I am so glad I did. I’ve been struggling with upper back, shoulder and neck pain for a while and the whole process of getting started with treatment has been a breeze. No privacy whatsoever. Didn’t see qualifications/degrees exhibited on their Doctors of Chiropractic Care in the facility. Like getting an adjustment in someone’s garage. AMAZING. I came to The Joint as a last resort as I was unable to see my usual provider and was in EXTREME discomfort. I’m so glad I did because I’m definitely staying! Dr. Shah does an excellent job! She has a cool and pleasant demeanor and an excellent touch with her technique. Some chiropractors are so rough that they almost crush you or so soft that they don’t seem to get that proper crack. She always manages to “crack” me without any discomfort. Zero complaints. I've been coming to this location for about a year, and today was supposed to be the day that a different chiropractor named Canova came. I had finished a workout at the gym and didn't have time to go home to freshen up due to my hectic schedule. I did use my cologne before entering the office. When I greeted Canova, I apologized for being slightly sweaty due to the temperature and having just concluded a workout. Canova harshly inquired, "Don't you shower?" And mentioned a few other things that were unprofessional for this type of company. I understand that if you are uncomfortable seeing a patient, there are methods to approach the situation calmly and respectfully. In my 8 years of nursing experience, I have never met an unprofessional and nasty healthcare provider like Canova. I've cancelled my membership at the Joints.

I have been to several joints from time to time over the past few years. The customer service from the front desk is severely lacking. I have had other family members express the cold unwelcoming reception from the front desk. I personally experience this. I was stopping in as a drop in and would not recommend if you haven’t been to a joint not using this one as your representation of the joint as a whole. Definitely would not recommend this location.

I had a great experience with one of your technicians and an unsavory one with the other tech. There seems to be a time constraint that forces the technicians to act quickly and with sudden force that could potentially jar the muscles in the body creating room to cause harm or potential harm to the client. I had been experiencing neck pain since April , i had been to the hospital & they suggested physical therapy. So I did that & that was a complete waste of time energy & Money. I finally decided this August that I should see a Chiropractor. And let me just say that Dr.Thomas Has completely changed the way I feel physically just after TWO visits. I am able to move my neck up and down better than I have been able to do in the last 4 months. Little did I know, this was all I’ve needed all this time. The dr. There is a bit arrogant and doesn’t really listen to her patients. After three years coming to chiropractic care I have learned a few things that help the chiropractor to adjust me. Dr. Shaw was adamant that her way was the only one that works and didn’t want to listen to me. My recommendation is go to the offices located at camelback and 16 or baseline and 59th ave. They are kind, they listen and will work to help give their patients a proper adjustment.

BEWARE! Unethical practice, they'll scam you with monthly plans! My father (elderly gentleman) was taken advantage of, was sold on a 2-month plan. On his last visit was told plan was complete, but they continued charging his account. He later noticed and called in, was told they would cancel yet continued charging his account. He was then told paperwork needed to be signed to cancel membership. He was charged 7-months without service being used, they refuse to refund any charges or rectify situation. Attempted to talk to management and was told they would reach out but never did. Stay away from this place! Total scam!

Worse experience. I went there for a neck issue and the chiropractor just did an adjustment without asking me what happened. The pain got worse that night followed with headaches. I had to go to the emergency. Also someone from the Joint called me to freeze my account while I was out of country for 3 months. I just found out that they have been charging me for a monthly fees this whole time when I never step a foot in there. I called and they do not want to give me a refund. This is simply dishonesty. I wouldn’t recommend this facility or The Joint to anyone. ??

There wasn't any wait so I was able to be seen quickly. When I went back, Dr Murphy didn't even ask what was bothering me. As I was laying down, I began to explain what the issue was today. During my sentence, he started to push down on my back. I wasn't relaxed or ready yet! It hurt a little bit. He was super quick and it felt like he was just going through the motions and wanted to move on with his day. I've been to other locations in the past and never had service like this before. It's a shame that this is now my closest location.

Wow. This place is seriously no bs and straight to the point. The staff are friendly, not pushy. The doctor was quick and adjusted me after a short consultation. He knew what was wrong, what was right and adjusted me on the spot. Instant relief! I did get a monthly package, which was cheaper than my copay. I will definitely be back!

Update 2023 actually canceled my plan because of the staff. The chiropractors are rotated out too frequently and I had one chiro there yell at me for going in after I fell and my back was hurting. I'm not even sure what he was mad about. Went back to dr oconner after i found his new location

Drs. Nelson, Murray and Pierce are kind, careful, and genuinely concerned. They take the time to make sure that all of my concerns are addressed on every visit, and I am pleased with their professionalism and skills. I've learned which times of day to go in order to avoid longer wait times. The rates are very reasonable and I appreciate the convenience. **edit 2022** there has been a lot of turnover in providers at this location. Some are better than others. Dr Fish seems to be the most consistent.

I’ve been coming to this location for a while now due to neck issues, the front desk team has always been empathetic and genuine. The team of Drs. have always listened and addressed exactly my issue. This past weekend I did a 12 hour road trip, at the end of the trip my lower back was killing me. It wasn’t until the day after my back seized up and I had to crawl on all fours just to get around, the pain was unbelievable. Luckily today I came in and Dr. Jimmy Pierce was on duty. Not only did he do a few adjustments but also some stretches. Today is the first day I’ve been able to stand straight up. Dr. Pierce also gave me a couple of stretches to do at home. If you’re looking for quality chiropractic care please check this place out and if Dr. Jimmy Pierce is on duty, you’ll be in great hands!

Been going to this place for a year now and I love it. Initially had back pain to the point where I had discomfort getting out of a chair. I decided to go in to get a diagnostic. Turns out I threw my lower back out of alignment, luckily it was nothing serious like a herniated disk or anything. After a few twists and turns everything was set back into place and I was told to get some rest and apply ice due to some inflamation. The next day I instantly felt better! From then on I signed up regularly and continue to go here. Highly recommend Dr. Nelson, very good at what he does and truly understands how the human body works and what it needs to heal.

I was literally unable to walk, so i went to the joint with high hopes and they definitely delivered. I walked out pretty sore,but hours later i was finally mobile again after two days of being stuck on the bed.
